This place met our needs. Property manager was excellent to communicate with!

We stayed here for my bachelorette party and it was beautiful! The house was bigger than expected and we slept 9 girls very comfortably. Love the back porch and open living space. There was a weird smell at first in the loft but it wasn’t unbearable. The lake access was tricky, I would suggest a sign marking the trail to the dock. Definitely not a swimming dock. We drove down the road to the county campground and swam at their beach and that was a blast. Overall we had a great time and I would stay again.

Very well maintained, quiet get away.

Booked this house for the hubby and friends for a side by side trip. His words nice, neat, and clean! 10 guys plenty of room. Well stock kitchenware and lots of towels. Great location for gas, bar/restaurants and of course trails. Kim and Lisa were great getting back to us with questions. Thank you!

Perfect place for us to meet up with family members. Cottage was very clean and the two living rooms made it very nice. We were able to relax, and play games. The Grandkids loved the Jacuzzi tub! Everything was fantastic.

Great place to stay, very clean and plenty of space! The one and only negative was that there was a strong smell in the entry/kitchen area that was pretty bad, possibly the entry way rug.

This cabin is an clean as clean can get! Very well put together, organized and had all of the amenities we needed for our stay. Even firewood! We couldn't get the TV to work but Kim tried his best to help - I missed my morning news and evening TV as we unwound for the day.

We have now stayed here 3 or 4 times always with a big group. Lots of good sleeping places and multiple areas for everyone to hangout. Convenient location near the things you need in the area

Absolutely beautiful cabin in a lovely spot! Plenty of room and a lot of amenities.

Very nice house. It seemed to have everything. My nephew loved the whirlpool. The only drawbacks were the tv and internet. We were not able to get either. The beds could use mattress tops since they were very hard. Loved waking up to the deer in the backyard.

Absolutely breathtaking scenery and secluded enough with a bar and convenient store with laundry close by. Recommend for a great north woods retreat

Great place. The location was just right for the trails. The house was just as it is listed. Our group of 5 adults were very happy.
4.7
Great! No Wi-Fi but we managed. Main floor bed is really noisy and basement beds could use a pad but other than that we really enjoyed our stay.
4.7
It's a nice property. We'll recommend it to our friends.

Had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Exceptionally clean and well appointed, lots of room, plenty of kitchen items to cook with as needed. Host very responsive to questions and flexible when requested. I would definitely recommend this property.
4.7
Very well stocked with everything we needed. Beds suitable for kids, but not adult friendly. Limited wood supplied so if fires are your thing, best to bring some as we did. Limited parking but we made it work for 4 trucks and trailers. Beautiful deck faces woods were we treated to all kinds of wildlife viewing. All in all a great place to spend your vacation

We had a group of 9 and had all the amenities we needed at our disposal. The house stayed nice and cool and it was in an excellent location. Would recommend!

EXCELLENT PROPERTY
We have stayed at many VRBO's and this one tops the list. We have stayed here once before years ago...and this time did not disappoint again!! This is a very well kept, high-end property right in the middle of what the Wascott area has to offer. We enjoyed a round of golf & a day out on the water with a pontoon rental from a nearby bar/restaurant. Highly recommend this place for anybody' to stay.

Snowmobile Trip
We had 4 guys snowmobiling in the area. Location was very close to the trails and plenty of gathering spots in the area. The property was great having 4 bedrooms which accommodated our stay very well. Kim was very responsive to answer questions.

Wonderful stay at this great cabin! We usually camp but wanted a fall weekend of riding the trails but warmth and water at the end of the day. This cabin was perfect for my husband and I and our 2 teen girls. Kim was extremely responsive to every question we had. We will be back!

Mattress upgrades needed
The place was very cute and private and we loved the layout. Our only issue was the mattresses were all old and uncomfortable. It would prevent me from renting again though as a good night sleep is important.

Great Stay
Beautiful house, with great amenities. Close to food and trails.

It was everything we expected from the listing. Very clean and spacious. We had four adults and two children for a long weekend and never felt cramped. The sleeping arrangements were great. We cook every meal at the house which was well stocked with dishes and cookware. Would definitely stay here again if it’s available the next time we head up north.

This was a great place to have my brother’s bachelor party cabin weekend! The pub down the street was great, the grill and campfire were awesome for a lazy day, and super close to Hayward and Spooner for more restaurants!

We enjoyed this clean, comfortable rustic stay. The house was tucked in the northern woods of Wisconsin with a deck overlooking the an evergreen forest. The home included towels, plenty of kitchen necessities and nice sleeping arrangements for the whole family. This location is secluded but has lots of beauty to explore within a 45 minute drive.

Great Experience
This cottage had everything you need for a weekend away. Very clean place with all the amenities you could ask for. Having a grill on-site and firewood for the campfire was very convenient. Our group really enjoyed a local tavern being within walking distance as well.

The cabin is very nice and well appointed with the things you need to cook. There are also plenty of towels and such. It was very clean.
A few things I would note that are difficult to discern from the photos: the back yard is very small. (There are wood ticks!) The cabin also sits close to the county highway, so there really isn’t room for any outdoor activities. Also, to use the canoe that is included, you have to walk across and down the highway a short distance, then walk down a trail to get to the place where the canoe is.
The bed in the master bedroom, while comfortable enough, is super squeaky when you sit on it or when you move around to get comfortable. There’s no lock on the bathroom door on the main level.
As long as you are aware of these few things, I would recommend this cabin. We did enjoy our stay. It is well kept and was a nice location for friends and family to meet between Minnesota and Michigan.
