This house has it all! Everything you need and more is provided. The host was gracious and super helpful. The fenced in backyard was great for our pup. There is a lovely firepit that we would have used if the weather would have cooperated! And don't forget the hot tub & the view!!
It's ideally located within minutes of downtown Marquette, or Pictured Rocks area.
There's room to relax and visit with your family and friends. We loved the look and feel of everything about this home. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was absolutely perfect for our family of 4! The view was absolutely amazing, and our boys enjoyed the hottub after long days of hikes. We loved being able to walk downtown, to the beach, and the trail system. The proximity to local hiking trails was a plus too. Definitely plan on coming back next summer!!

Couldn’t ask for a better rental to serve as home base for our elopement in Marquette. Waking up to a Lake Superior sunrise on my wedding day will be a memory cherished forever.

We absolutely loved our week in Marquette and this rental! It is exactly as pictured and described. The view from the deck is amazing and location is so close and convenient to everything. Perfect little fenced in backyard for our dog. We drove 2 cars which fit perfectly in the driveways so we did not have to park on the road. Owners are very responsive, kind and accommodating. The house just feels good and cozy. Comfy space for watching movies, kitchen has everything you could possibly need, washer and dryer are new and nice, hot tub was used a lot! Can't say enough good things!
Highly recommend!

Beautiful view of Lake Superior. Comfortable home for a family to explore Marquette, Pictured Rocks, waterfalls and beaches. The traffic noise in the front and back of the house at times especially at night was loud and annoying.

This older house made us feel at home. The view over the lake is amazing. We got a perfect view of a double rainbow from the hot tub. The fenced yard allowed us to bring our dogs making the trip that much easier. The house had some work being done on it, but I was impressed with how the work, though in progress, never detracted from our stay. The real magic of this VRBO is its location. We brought our bikes and rode the path up the shoreline to Presque Isle and back. Careful, that trip is more miles than we intended, but the weather was perfect this time of year. Several days we spent walking to Washington Street and visiting Marquette. It’s an interesting town that grew on us quickly. We were able to drive to two waterfalls and visited Munising for more adventures. The Co-Op brewery Drífa was fun to visit for a rare chance to have a date with my wife. Overall the home was nice and had some perks that made our visit more memorable. I’d definitely would like to come back because I feel like there are more things in the area we’d like to do. Side note: If you go on trails in early June, bring bug spray and/or a mosquito net hat.

We were very excited about this home & location when we booked. We were alerted at the last minute about renovations happening in the home, but didn’t think anything of it. We were greeted by a rather rough looking exterior. One of the front door windows was cracked & the paint was chipping off the columns. When we returned and were able to look around a bit, it was clear things weren’t as nice advertised. The kitchen was 10/10 - so modern & well stocked!
However the few things that stuck out to us are as follows:
The router for the internet kept going in & out.
The privacy fence seen on the back deck in the listing photos was missing the middle section, allowing us to see right into the neighbors home, and them the deck.
The half-bath on the first floor is next to the washer & dryer, however due to the positioning of such, the bathroom door doesn’t open all the way, which made it inaccesible to two thirds of our party.
The grass in the backyard wasn’t mowed, and the back deck furniture was covered in spiderwebs.
We were looking forward to the kitchen table as it appeared perfect for card games, however the chairs were extremely unsteady & appeared to be giving way when we sat on them. Unfortunately that meant the kitchen table was unusable for us.
There were no amenities such as wash cloths, shampoo, etc. Even the soap was watered down.
Had such high hopes for this home, however it unfortunately fell flat for us. The location was wonderful. The house was just okay.

This was our second stay and it was perfect. The home is full of character yet equipped with every modern need. It is clean, uncluttered, and safe. They welcomed our dog which is key to our planning and went above and beyond in preparing for our son who is on the spectrum and has specific needs. Met Tim the neighbor and he was as nice as could be. Safe neighborhood, beautiful view, and just the right size for my family.

We LOVED this property. We frequent Marquette often because we have a child at NMU and this house, by far, was our favorite place. It is in a great location for visiting the downtown area and NMU. The view was amazing. The house was clean. Amy was so nice making sure we had everything we needed. We also loved the enclosed backyard for our dog. We hope to stay again in the future!

This house is adorable with a beautiful view of the lake, and the location is great. It was maybe a 10 minute walk to downtown. The host is super sweet and will make sure you are well taken care of. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home, great location, and everything we needed was there! Fenced in yard & blankets for the furbabies was an added bonus. Being able to watch the sun come up over Lake Superior while sipping hot coffee in the hot tub...the best! Thank you!

We enjoyed this house. It was a clean and beautiful old home. The location was ideal. We could walk downtown and see the lake from our windows. The communication with the property manager was clear and concise and not too frequent.

This was the second year in a row we visited Marquette for a ski weekend and stayed at the same property. We loved the house and its location relative to Marquette Mountain and loved using the hot tub after a couple long days. He had a little trouble with the electric door lock, but Amy was able to resolve it pretty quickly.

We met our son, Mich Tech student, here. We are from the LP. This home is perfectly located in the heart of Marquette and makes for a close getaway for our son who lives in Houghton. The residential area is cute for walking (we brought our dog) and close to restaurants and shops. We had beautiful views of the sunrise over Lake Superior every morning. We enjoyed a soak in the hot tub on a cold winter day. The fenced in backyard was perfect for our dog to run around. Everything was neat and clean inside with all amenities needed. The beds were very comfortable. We all slept very well. Our host even left us a gift card to a fabulous coffee shop in town. We recommend Iron Bay Restaurant (always a fave), Third Coast Pizza (more than just pizza), Huron Bakery, Michigan Made Store and Contrast Coffee. This was our 2nd stay here and we will stay here again! Thank you for a great stay!

Great stay and great host. The property was as advertized and in a great location for our annual ski trip to Marquette Mountain. The host was very responsive and we (as a group) are already looking forward to booking this property agin for our trip next year.

We rented this property primarily for a mother/daughter private getaway. This rental is in my own neighborhood, but we were lured by the outdoor hot tub. This is an incredibly hard to find feature in this neck of the woods. There is something magical about being in an outdoor hot tub in the thick of winter! On our last evening, we invited our spouses to join us. The home is spotless and has everything one needs. I really appreciated not having to run to the store for every little thing and also that we were not expected to do a bunch of chores before leaving. The hot tub was also very clean and quite hot enough despite the cold and is actually much larger than it appears in the photos.

Our family of six (four young adult "kids" and two parents thrilled to be together) really enjoyed this place. We came up to cross country and downhill ski and snowshoe and skate and play hockey outside -- only to run into global overheating + El Niño. Despite almost constant fog, drizzle, rain, overcast and 20 degree above normal temps, we had a terrific time. We hiked every day all over the region, each place more beautiful than the next. And we cooked and played board games and jumped in the hot tub and walked to interesting places in the city. Communication with the host was great, which mattered a lot because a new boiler wasn't set right, and she got it fixed promptly. We loved the old house and its location, and it was just big enough for six - as long as you have a group that can share three nice beds, you're golden.

Our family visited Marquette for a tour of NMU for our high school age son. The house was in a great location with views of Lake Superior and within walking distance to downtown (if you don't mind getting a little exercise). The house was clean, check in was easy and we were very comfortable throughout the weekend. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Very nice, clean, and comfortable. The hot tub was amazing! The home was close to everything in town. We had a great time and will be staying here again!!

Amy was great with communication, even when I was quite quiet due to work. I appreciated not having a long list of things to do before checkout, along with an additional hour later than normal. The house had everything! The kitchen was fully loaded, there was stuff for dogs (however I come fully loaded with everything) items for children, and a hot tub!
The house had a lot of charm. I’m a plant lover so it made me very happy seeing all of the plants. I didn’t have a chance to relax or watch tv but it was laid out nicely to do so. I love the big kitchen and the large dining area. I wish it was summer because I’d love the yard with fire pit and grill.
I love the location because it takes me right by 41 where I needed to go, just close enough to downtown, and it was by Courtyard and I could eat/drink there for every meal. Great place to stay!

We’d wanted to stay here since 2019 and with everything that happened after that it took us awhile to be able to book just with life and being busy. We were in awe upon check in! The house is somehow even more beautiful than pictured and seriously anything you could need or want is probably provided. The view is excellent of Lake Superior and the house is close to downtown and our favorite spots. Amy was SO nice and very responsive to any messages. The bed we stayed in in the room with the bay window was very comfortable and I’ve gotta get us one of the duvet inserts like the one in that room. It was so luxurious! This house was everything we’d been dreaming of and feel so lucky we got to stay here to celebrate our first wedding anniversary! Thank you again for hosting us!

Had a great time, had plenty of room and enjoyed the hot tub. The weather was not the best but that’s Marquette weather. Would consider renting again.
