Generally speaking, this property is one of the better VRBO properties that we have stayed at in the La Quinta area. The description was accurate and everything worked well without the need to contact the management. That said, I view the above as what should really be the baseline standard for any property. In this instance, I think that, while the property meets those criteria and is updated to current finishes, it is starting to show some wear and could use some TLC / maintenance throughout the house. I would also recommend that the owners consider adding certain basics that are missing, such as a teapot/kettle. All told, we were very happy with our stay and wholly recommend the property.

Beautifully laid out floor plan. Quiet and serene location. Nicely furnished. Wish we could have stayed longer than two nights . Definitely will consider coming back in the future.

Perfect spot and layout for the annual golf trip. Host was great, everything was as described. Only small gripe would be soft mattresses on squeaky beds. Would definitely book again. Thanks David

We met with friends from Nebraska and Oregon and we are from Washington state all of which were having very cold and winter weather. It was great to have the pool and outdoor space to hangout and enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery. The house was great for 8 adults with plenty of room for everyone.

We had such a nice stay. The property is just like it says in the listing. Big bedrooms, nice size great kitchen. Pool and hot tub area was clean and spacious. Everythig was stocked for everyday use items. Will definetly come back!

The home has a lovely layout, even for a larger group. The pool heat / hot tub was what we expected and perfect for us, though too small for a larger group to enjoy together. The kitchen was stocked with many things, but missing a few: not hot pads, wash cloths, outdoor (plastic) dinnerware, and the ice maker did not work. There master bath had a hair dryer and shower soaps, etc, but was missing a waste basket. When we hunted one from the other bathrooms, we realized there were only 2 for four bathrooms. The laundry space and the soap / dryer sheets available was a lovely touch we appreciated. Overall, the home is lovely and comfortable. It felt as though there was a lack of attention to upkeep (for instance, air returns were caked with debris / dust). I wonder if the owner or property manager might visit the property and look at the details to make a nice property an excellent one.

This house was great, lots of room for 4 golfers, nice layout, nice features. It was everything we wanted in a place. We had ongoing issues figuring out how to operate the pool and spa... which we paid extra to have heated. The pool and spa were cold when we arrived. We are all 45 y/o men of at least average intelligence... but we couldn't figure out the controls for heating the spa and pool with consistency. We reached out to the owner for help which wasn't very helpful, although they did turn the spa heat on for us at one point. But I don't think the owner understood how frustrated we were to not be able to use something we paid extra for. We maybe crossed the line when we suggested someone else was controlling the spa and pool because nothing we did ever worked or lasted long enough to heat the spa and pool. We were told we were maybe to stupid to figure it out and that we were dumber than 99.9 % of the guests that never had any problem with the pool and spa. Tempers were short and things were said that might be regretted... but regardless, as customers that were obviously struggling to use what we paid for, we would have liked a little more service to help us out. We were very nice about the pool and spa day one... but by day 4 of not having any success we would have liked maybe some better instruction, or even a visit to see what we were dealing with? It might have been possible that something wasn't working and the owner if able to see it on our end could have fixed it.

We would definitely stay again. The house was beautiful and a great layout. 4 bathrooms were a plus for our large family. Everything was as described. Great communication with the host , easy check in and check out. Thank you!

First impressions were good - until closer inspection. Floors were dirty; mold in corner of shower. There were no instructions for how to operate tv’s. We didn’t do any cooking, only used the toaster oven and coffee pot.

Great place to stay. Very nice and clean and soothing. Only disappointment was that the beds squeak heavy in all rooms so no quiet time with the spouse. Pool heat was an extra 30 dollars per day.

Stayed at this property with my family and friends and had a relaxing experience. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood and minutes away from restaurants and grocery stores. The only downside is the ice maker not working but definitely not a deal breaker. Jacuzzi and pool are clean. Overall, well maintained property and host is very responsive with all the inquiries that I had. Will definitely go back here again.

Brought our friends to La Quinta for their first trip to California, and we loved this house. Perfect location in a very quiet neighbourhood (aside from the dogs next door), walking distance to Old Town, quick drive to shopping. Beautiful house, pool was great, hot tub heats up quickly. The only "negative" things are not major, and didn't affect our enjoyment of the house at all: - the fridge was warm when we arrived, and took a long time to get the temperature sorted. - the ice maker never worked the whole time but we just bought a bag of ice and it was fine. - hot tub settings should be explained, as we had no idea how to make it stop coming on by itself. Trial and error! - iPad control pad lost connection a few times, which led to one of us to having to get out of the hot tub to go dripping back into the house and fire up the hot tub as it didn't register Overall a wonderful house. I would definitely stay here again.

Love a place where you can walk everywhere. We walked to breakfast, lunch, shopping, and to the public pickleball courts where we took some players down! The house was spacious and clean. The pool and hot tub were fantastic. Only suggestions are to fix the ice maker and need more towels, washcloths, and hand towels. The beds are a bit firm and loud when you get in and out. The tabs were large and wonderful. Maybe need instructions for the remotes? We appreciated the staples in the pantry including coffee and vodka! Also liked the toiletries and blow dryer. Would def rent again.

Physical condition: The home is 1-2 years old and still in nice condition. Owner: Very responsive to any questions. Best home features: Spa/pool is a great for relaxing in the evening as the desert sun goes down.. Kitchen is pretty well equipped for cooking a group meal. Unexpected extra - large shampoo/body wash in each bathroom. Small improvements that will enhance the experience: Could not find oven mitts in kitchen. Dog next store still barks quite a bit but did not hinder sleep. Bed frames still squeak quite a bit. Could use more towels/wash cloths. Location: We really enjoyed being able to walk to local city pickleball/tennis courts, Old Town Laquinta restaurants and nearby trails.. All said this property was a 5 out of 5 stars.

House is as it looks in photos. Has some upkeep and minor repairs needed. Overall house was great for multiple couples. Has king beds in three of the four rooms. Hot tub heats up fast. Walkable distance from Old Town. We didn’t stay at the property a lot but when we did it was nice. Overall decent place to stay.

Modern home that fit our stay perfect with a pool and spa located in blocks away from La Quinta Old Town. We enjoined our stay and had few things that property manager made us aware of before arriving. He stayed in communication to make sure everything went as best as they could. We would stay again!

House looked beautiful in the pictures, but unfortunately was not so when we arrived. It should be standard practice to clean a house prior to new guests arriving. What we found: - Refrigerator had food left in it from previous guests. - Bed linens still had hair from previous guests. Additionally, whoever used the comforter on one of the beds previously had gotten in to bed without showering and their feet left a line of dirt. - Worst of all - the previous guests had left a chicken in the oven. We opened it to find a rotten chicken with maggots. Owner was contacted and cleaners were sent over. However, there was no apology or follow up after the fact. Not only was the house not cleaned well, parts of it were falling apart. The door handle to the front door would come off and the drains in the showers didn’t drain well so you would be standing in dirty shower water. Overall, this was on house I’d definitely like to forget staying in. Vacations are supposed to be relaxing, but it’s hard to relax in a house like this

The inside of the house was recently renovated and well laid out and the open concept was great for a large group. The kitchen was really nice and sofa was clean an comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the number of bathrooms accommodated our group of females. There were some minor repairs that needed to be done. The pool was very small and full of palm debris and sand so we didn’t even use it. The neighborhood was close to all of the places we planned on visiting so that was good but an older neighborhood. Quiet. The property manager was in constant communication. I would have liked to spend more time outside the home but the winds didn’t allow. The inside of the home was very comfortable and felt almost like home.

Overall, the property looked exactly as it did on the website. Some normal wear and tear for a rental and things that could be replaced/repaired, but nothing that took away from our stay. The pool was the perfect size for our group of 4. The beds were comfortable and linens clean. It was a wonderful open space with plenty of room for us to spread out. The kitchen provided everything we needed. We had one issue with the shower that was quickly remedied with no issue. We definitely enjoyed our time. The cleaning fee for the house did not match what we arrived to, unfortunately. We had to pick-up popped balloons and straws from around the pool, clean one of the toilets, and the floors did not seem to have been cleaned well. Perhaps a change in cleaning service would solve this problem. One thing that we found disappointing, but is in no way a fault of the owner, is the barking dogs next door. Those poor things were left outside all day and into the night and barked incessantly. There was a strong odor of dog urine most of the day. It’s really unfortunate that this negatively impacts the owner’s property.
