About this house rental
Time at Jamieson River Run is the disconnect you’re looking for. Suitable for a family or 2, or group getaway.
1km from Jamieson, the serenity of the property set on 10 acres with private river frontage and Jamieson Valley views will be just what the dr ordered.
Built in 2018, this modern home with fully equipped kitchen provides all your creature comforts. Baking trays & dishes, slow cooker, coffee machine, sandwich toaster and pantry staples, just pack your bags for a high-country getaway.
The essentials : All linen & towels provided. Aldi coffee machine & frother provided with a selection of pods included for your stay.
The property offers 3 bedrooms; king bed with ensuite, queen and 4 bunk beds. The second living space includes a futon which can be used if required.
You’ll find an indoor fireplace in the living room along with a split system (another found in bedroom 4) to keep you warm and cool throughout the year. Firewood is not included though ask, and we can provide a starter kit to get you going for a small fee. You’ll find ceiling fans in most bedrooms along with portable heaters/fans if needed.
We enjoy swimming, kayaking and building rock walls in the river. Being 10 degrees cooler than up at the house, we spend most of the day during the summer months down at the river.
You can loose hours while relaxing on the deck taking in the ever changing scenery before your eyes. Misty clouds sweeping the local hills and a variety of wildlife including local kangaroos are seen at dawn and dusk in surrounding paddocks.
Outside a skate ramp, hanging bars & trampoline offer plenty of entertainment for the kids and finish the day under the stars warmed by the outdoor fire pit.
Take a 10 minute walk into town to hit the Courthouse Hotel, visit the general store for all your essentials, quick bites and coffee or settle into Perkins on Great Cafe for a more substantial lunch and drinks.
You’ll find Jamieson Gallery on Grey street up from the cafe featuring many local artists work. I challenge you to keep your money in your pocket and not come home with one of Jamieson Rose’s cork bags, a Julie Guppie painting or one of Freddy’s beautiful photographic prints.
Visit the caravan park and pick up a free and very detailed map with local hikes or enquire about kayak hire including a pick-up service.
30minutes from Mansfield, 20minutes to the Mansfield Zoo or High Country Maze, 1hr to Mt Buller & Mt Stirling car parks, many local 4WD or MTB trails… your getaway can be packed full of activity or you can simply relax at the property and take in the serenity.
Any questions, please give me a call or send a message.

We enjoyed our stay everything was perfect the location was absolutely beautiful ,it’s only there wasn’t enough toilets paper for the 6ppl stayed for 2 days so we have drive to get ourself that and there wasn’t any tissue in there otherwise anything else was great

Great location and we had a great time, however, the house is looking a little tired. For the price charged we would have liked the home paddock mowed, a decent bbq and the third bedroom to have a decent bed - the futon is not acceptable another double bed is needed.

4 adults & 4 kids spent a wonderful 4 nights at Jamieson River Run playing in the river, exploring the property and enjoying the peace and quiet. The house felt like a home away from home, thoughtfully furnished with lots of little extras and room for everyone to relax. Thank-you Ailia for sharing your fabulous house with us!

Property in a great location, the private access to the river was great.
Neat, well presented house but
need to update their cutlery/pots and pans.
Barbecue had not been cleaned nor the oven. Disappointed that there was no hanging space in master bedroom.
Fire pit was great fun for our children, great water pressure and we never ran out of hot water!

The house is in a great position with terrific views and walking distance to town. Everything was as described. Our only complaints were the house sleeps 10 people but the seating in the lounge area only seated 4 people on the couches and outside there also was not seating for 10 people. The lounge definitely needs more couches.

Had a fantastic stay at this gorgeous property. We stayed for 2 nights and our kids loved running around the property playing in the mud! Incredible views in the morning with the low clouds over the mountains. Property was clean and comfortable with all amenities you would need. Warm & cosy with fire in living area, and heater near bedrooms. We would definitely be back. Host was great and answered all our questions promptly. Would definitely stay again.

This newly renovated house is ideal for family or friends getaway. It is nice and very neat with all the amenities you need. The house is spacious and bed is comfortable. The fire pit outside is great to enjoy the evening with a glass of wine. Our boy enjoyed trampoline and we loved the walk to the river side. It’s only 1hr drive to Mount Buller and we loved the stay. Ailia is a great host and very responsive to all your questions. Thanks for having us and we planning to go back in the future.

Home away from home
Jamieson River Run is an awesome home away from home though this time my family enjoyed the property without me, it's a place I definitely will be booking again.
Ailia our wonderful host is accommodating and attentive to our needs. She is in regular contact and is quick to respond to my queries.
The house is a great location to switch off and be one with nature with the Jamieson river running down the back of the property and our neighbours of cows, kangaroos, horses, ducks and the one off deer, made the stay that more enjoyable and memorable! With the firepit, family was able to enjoy stories, laughs and lots of jumbo marshmallows that was had after a yummy BBQ on the porch!! Definitely special times had!
The house has everything you need, self-contained, is ready to move in and relax!! The family thoroughly enjoyed the wide spaces inside and outside the house and around the property.
Definitely a home we want to come back to again!!

Suprise 40th Getaway
This property is amazing, the owners keep the property immaculate, even with the cold weather we had a perfect stay with the fire inside keeping us very warm and the fire pit outside, the hosts are great to deal with, the view down to the river is magic, we spent 4 nights and wished we were staying for two weeks, what a perfect spot, we will definitely be back

Stunning rural escape!
Thank you Ailia! We had a wonderful stay over Easter. Your place was exceptionally clean with plenty of room and all the essentials. The location on the Jamieson river was stunning and great fun for the kids to play in. The outdoor fire pit was well used each evening for wine and toasted marshmallows and the kids loved the trampoline and skates ramp.
The only minor improvement I would suggest is a proper double bed rather than futon in the fourth bedroom.
