About this cabin rental
Must see! This adorable, knotty pine studio cabin is located within walking distance of downtown, Grand Lake, and RMNP.
This 1940's cabin is loaded with historic character and located on a peaceful, aspen-filled lot within Grand Lake village. This quaint 400 square foot studio knotty-pine cabin has a queen-size bed, separate kitchen area, bath, cozy gas fireplace, and sitting area with cable television. Gas stove, microwave, and dishwasher available. Grill, fire pit, and sitting area located outside. Use the coffee-maker in the morning, or wander downtown to one of the local lake-side coffee shops. Perhaps just lounge in the outside seating area and watch for wildlife to wander through the area. **(Please note that the mountains are a host to MANY types of wildlife. Sometimes, despite our best efforts, unwanted wildlife such as chipmunks or mice can sometimes find their way into mountain cabins. If you are uncomfortable with this possibility, this vacation choice may not be the best for you.) This cabin's charm, quiet environment, and walking-distance proximity to town, the lake, and the Rocky Mountain National Park trailheads make it an easy choice for a vacation stay.
This cabin is held to a higher safety standard than cabins located outside of the village. It is inspected annually by the Grand Lake fire department.
Do you have friends/family who would also like to vacation at the same time? Three darling listings are located nearby - listings 674069, 899718, 1155015 on VRBO.

This little property was perfect for us - low key, super quiet, comfy bed, cozy and full of character. Also so close to RMNP. Would stay here again!

My boyfriend and I have taken several Grand Lake winter weekend trips the last few years. This property was great. A quaint cabin that is quiet but close enough to town to walk to. Would stay here again!

It looks small from the outside but is surprisingly spacious inside and has everything you need for a cozy, comfortable winter stay for a few days. Communication with the host was great too.

We had a wonderful time in Grand Lake and the cabin was a perfect place to escape to. Rebekah was super responsive and very friendly to work with. Cabin was exactly as described and pictured. We would gladly stay again.

Cute cabin! We were on our honeymoon and it was the perfect location! Grand Lake is a quaint mountain tourist town, and this cabin was perfect for us! We wished we booked for longer! The host was so nice and left us a bottle of wine to toast by the fire. We loved the stay, we will be back

Such a fun and relaxing stay.
Saw some beautiful sights. Had a full day of snow and really enjoyed coming back to the cabin to warm up by the fireplace and watch the snow continue to fall through the cabin windows. Don’t know which I liked better, the comfy chair or the sweet country rocking chair!!

Wonderful cabin-cozy and clean with good views out of all the windows. Will stay here again. Rebecah was a lovely host.

The bed was very comfortable! The TV reception was great. All the appliances worked well, and there was plenty of hot water! Did I mention location? Perfect! The only reason I didn't give it a perfect score, is because the cabin is in desperate need of newer furniture, and lots of TLC. Oh, I also forgot to mention, this cabin is spotless! All in all, a nice visit, but may not go back because of the little things that were in disrepair.

Cutest little cabin! Loved staying in it. Great host. Just a little slice of quiet in a chaotic world.

Nice property, appreciated the extra sheets to put over bed in case dogs get on it! Owner responded via text to questions very quickly, will come back again! Could see the Big Dipper from my chair-Aug 2023

The pictures do not do this cabin justice! It is the perfect hideaway for two, secluded but close enough to neighbors to not feel isolated, and within walking distance to town. The structure itself is a rustic cabin from the 1940s, but the interior has the modern comforts that you want. There is no wifi, but there is a decent cell reception so you aren't completely out of communication. The cabin is immaculately clean and tidy, with a super comfortable bed and linens and towels that are soft and fresh. Good water pressure in the tiled shower. Plenty of hooks to hang your hiking gear to dry out after a day of adventure on the trails! It's the perfect home base for a cozy couple who enjoys the simpler way of life.

The location was close to town but also quiet and beautiful. The cabin was clean and comfortable…and dog friendly! The kitchen was well appointed and the bed was wet comfortable. The yard was very overgrown and could use a bit of maintenance and charging multiple devices was a bit of a challenge due to the lack/location of outlets, but we managed just fine and enjoyed our stay immensely!! We’ll be back.

My wife and I both enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The property is conveniently located near the town center so everything is within walking distance. The cabin was just as advertised and was perfect for what we were looking for.

Rustic cabin, conveniently located minutes from West entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. Responsive manager. No frills, good value.

Such a cute and well equipped cabin! It worked great for my husband and I.
Tiny suggestions for improvement is the locking mechanism for the door from the outside (code-driven) and the property could use a good dusting for cobwebs on the cabin walls/ceiling. We did not see any spiders, etc.
Will definitely visit again!

Cute and comfy. A great location to the little shops. Also not a bad distance to the lake.

Some folks might find this cabin a bit too basic or rustic but for us it was perfect. Very comfortable bed, good shower, fully stocked kitchen, roomy enough for two. Rebekah was more than accommodating as a host. Excellent value. Highly recommended.

Very cute cabin in a great location in Grand Lake. The cabin is quaint but perfect for one or two people. The owner was very communicative, check in/out was very easy, and the cabin was reasonably stocked with enough kitchenware to get you through. Also, a there is a nice firepit in the yard. In terms of the area, you can easily walk downtown and to the lake, and there is great hiking nearby. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a quiet weekend away in the mountains!

Lots of snow. Cozy and warm cabin we loved it!

The cabin is really cute. It is near the main part of Grand Lake. It is small - a two person place - but really nice and well maintained. We were in town for a wedding and this place was just perfect for us.

Clean, comfortable, accepts pets; everything we need in a cabin, and the property manager was great and very accommodating.

Enjoyed the location and cabin. Nice large stocked kitchen and comfy living space. Very quiet location, yet walkable to town. Having sheets in the cabin to put over the furniture for the dog was a nice touch. I’ve never seen my dog sleep so well. We will return next Fall.

I did not receive the address information from the host until the day after we were supposed to check in. I tried sending her a message several times. We stopped in Grand lake and asked for help in finding the place, with no address it was impossible. We stayed at a lodge in grand lake and called you people to get the address which we did find it but we didn't have a code to get in. Therefore I called you people back and you called the host of course she said she sent me the information. The cell phone service was terrible. That could be why I didn't receive it. We DID NOT STAY THERE. I was hesitant to use vrbo now I know why. I will NOT be using it in the future. I

1/2 a bag of garbage in the house when we arrived and the towels and washcloth hanging over the tub faucet looked used. No big deal.

Rustic little cabin.
Great host and perfect spot to kick back for a few days for two of us and our small dog. Within walking distance of everything in Grand Lake Village and a short drive to the West Entrance of Rocky Mountain Park. We were there during July 4 week and very festive.

We loved the little cabin. So quaint, comfortable, cozy and such easy access to walking to town. Rebekkah was so responsive to our inquiries and had nearly every question answered on a sheet full of information in the area. We will definitely be back. Thank you!
