Moderate
Moderate stay. The location is great. Easy to find. Communication with owner was great. A little misunderstanding was fiksed fast. This was our 4th stay during our roadtrip with vrbo And unfortunately not the best one. The house needs a refurbishment. Stains in carpet, rack in shower was loose kitchen also needs an update. Airco was really Loud And continuously running.
Cleaning was poor. There was a lot of rubbish under te bed And the bathroom Floor was durty. Overall it was not clean. If these improvements will be Made this location is recomendable.

This was an unusually high quality lodging situation. It was easily large enough for a family of four. The directions and communication are excellent. I would give this property my highest recommendation.

In Town for a Wedding
House was lovely! So many luxurious details. We had a wonderful time- loved sitting out by the fire pit at night and it was a perfect back drop for wedding photos of my son & his groomsmen. The yards are fully gated, so it worked well for my dog. Overall, one of the best vacation rental homes we have enjoyed! Thank you so much for the hospitality!

On our arrival, when we had difficulty entering the apartment with the provided security code, Elizabeth responded quickly. When we all realized that the unit had not been cleaned after the previous guest, she immediately assumed responsibility and took action. She came out on Sunday evening at 7 PM and worked alongside the cleaner to get the apartment prepared quickly. Finding a stain on the blanket, she even went out and bought new blankets (which my daughter loved!) After our stay, Lisa also assumed responsibility and graciously offered us compensation for our inconvenience. Sometime details fall through the cracks despite our best efforts. It happens to all of us, but not everyone is willing to own up to their mistakes. I commend Lisa and Elizabeth for their mature response. I believe them when they say that this has never happened to them before, and I think they will be very careful to make sure it doesn’t happen again. The rest of our stay went well. Of note, the mattresses are very comfortable. I will definitely give them another try in the future.

Nice and clean place to stay near National parks. Nice neighborhood. Good stay. My only feedback is all the air freshener plugs-ins. There were 4 in a such a small space. I’m not even a smell sensitive person and it was a little much. Sorry, I unplugged them all, haha. Great TV sections with HBO Max, Disney channel and Hulu.

Convenient, cool and peaceful.
This place was perfect for our needs. We were visiting family in town and needed a place to lay our heads at night after all the frivolities. Great location and very quiet. I also work remotely and was able to get some work done in the down times so it was a win win vacation.

Spacious apartment with comfortable beds
We rented this along with the main house next to it. It is more like a suite. Beds are so comfortable. We used the main house with the rest of family for socializing etc. it is a remodeled garage. Done well. The yard, landscaping is awesome. Enjoyed our time.

This studio apartment is so cute. It is in a very convenient location and has lots of privacy.
I had an extended stay at the apartment due to a work assignment. My experience couldn’t have been better. Lisa was a super host and she was available anytime I had any questions or concerns. The beds in the apartment are so comfy...and it actually has its own private, beautifully landscaped courtyard. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!!!

Great Place for a Couple get away
The Studio off the main house is very clean and quiet. Very comfortable for a quiet get away. Studio kitchen is limited to coffee and microwaveable meals or meals that can be heated on the outside grill.

Should have stayed at the hotel or another place
The property is not what is it described to be. Nowhere in the description does it says that this studio is actually a converted garage for you to stay at. The lightning outside was not working and so it was difficult to find where exactly we were supposed to enter and stay. Since we arrived late and lights were not working, we tried to call the owner, but NO ONE ever answered. The guests from the main house also tried calling the owner, but again no one picked up. Per the description of the property, it said that there will be a hot plate provided which would have been great to make breakfast. What was provided is nowhere near a hot plate and definitely cannot be used to make anything. Also, it was stated that there will be an outdoor grill that we could use, but that was being used by the guests at the main house and not available to us. It was actually impossible to stay or sit outside on the patio as the smell from the garbage cans was so strong and horrible. I am not sure if the smell came from the main house trash bins or the neighbor’s house. The towel bars and the closet handle were so weakly attached that we were afraid to touch it in order not to break anything. The microwave was not there the first night when we arrived; the next day the owner brought something that looked like it was just picked up from a sidewalk. Overall, I would not recommend this place. The owner needs to make sure that the description of the property and the property itself matches!!! Also, the owner needs to make sure everything is working BEFORE the guests arrive and not come and fix things after they receive messages of complains.

Clean, comfortable and beautiful - great for dogs!
Our family of 4 was traveling with our dog to Southern California from Northern California during the recent heat wave. The VRBO is behind a gated patio that was perfect for the dog to step outside to do her business. This was great since it really was too hot to take her for a walk. Small area made it easy to clean up after her too.
The A/C unit worked perfectly even as the temp outside approached 100 degrees.
We brought a large, queen sized blow up mattress so one of our teenagers could have their own bed and there was PLENTY of room for it. The room is large and very clean. There were brochures for places to visit (like Yosemite) and eat. I didn't see a brochure on Sequoia, though, which I thought was odd. We ate a the Pita Kabob, which was very good. Nice selection of beers and they allow dogs on the patio.
Owners were super helpful and very nice. It was a fantastic stay, I'd definitely go back.

Perfect layover on our way to Sequoia National Park.
My hubby, teen son, elderly mom, 2-yr old house-trained Husky, & I love this restful, tastefully-decorated studio. Comfy queen beds, convenient parking, well-kept garden, Apple TV, all the works. I'm glad there's no indoor cooking (just microwave); otherwise, everything would smell greasy! For meals, we ate along the way at Bakersfield & Three Rivers where pets are allowed in patios.
We brought our giant lint roller to clean the carpet of our husky's hair. (But we found a vacuum cleaner in the closet anyway.) We also used our portable wire fence to protect the garden from the dog. I recommend you do the same out of respect for the property, since the owners are so accommodating.
If you are over 200 lbs, go trim down; otherwise, you won't find the cubicle shower comfortable. If your family does not know how to take turns in the toilet since there's only one, start learning how to. If your dog chews everything & climbs everywhere, train him/her to behave courteously because the furniture here are so pretty. If you're sloppy, ill-mannered, & a chronic fault-finder, start questioning your belief systems about life before checking in here (or anywhere), because the energy of this place is Peace & Harmony, & you won't match.
I have many other nice things to say, but we have to check out. Love & gratitude!

Cycling enthusiast
My friend and I spent a weekend here to ride bicycles in Sequoia National Forest. This place is great - it's on the back of a detached garage with ample parking in the driveway plus the street. The apartment had plenty of room to comfortably fit two guys plus bicycles and gear. The accommodations are well maintained and clean. The kitchenette isn't enough to cook a meal, but we used the microwave and outdoor George Foreman grill. The owner was helpful and very responsive to requests via VRBO messages.

Comfortable get-away
This was the vacation part of our business trip. Enough space to set up our little office away from home. Great home base for our day trips to the Sequoia National Park and Yosemite (though quite a distance, nicely central). Very nice host family; we felt very private and safe. Clean, spacious, detached apartment from main house. Very attractive contemporary decor with air conditioning, access to WIFI and Netflix (yeah - no skipping through TV). Small kitchen area with refrigerator and microwave oven. Enough to make our own breakfast. There was an electric BBQ on the patio that we did not use. Thanks for you hospitality.

Safe and quiet, clean and modern in a lovely neighborhood, a little oasis.
The owners were very friendly and helpful but I felt like I had a lot of privacy. The space was clean and stylishly decorated, very comfortable. I would see more than a couple people or a family with children being very comfortable, like a spacious hotel room with kitchenette. Everything was very easy to use, very relaxing space to be in. Option for renting backyard is a nice plus too though I didn't get to see it, I fell asleep to the sound of the waterfall landscaping each night :)
