La Jolla Shores is a bedroom community next to the beach. The home is located just to the left of the red roofed buildings in main listing photo. It's just one block to Avenida De La Playa where all of the restaurants and shops are located and less than two blocks to La Jolla Shores Beach and Kellogg Park. The park has a children's playground and is right next to the beach. This home is in the best location in The Shores! The world famous La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club is just around the corner and La Jolla Cove is a 10-15 minute walk or a short drive away. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home features a fireplace, central heating and air conditioning, cozy living room that opens to the remodeled, well-equipped kitchen. The lovely outdoor sitting area off the kitchen/dining area has a BBQ, fire pit, and comfortable lounge seating. Another private patio is located off the master and has two Chaise Lounges.

The home is airy with stylish, yet comfortable furnishings and every modern convenience you will want while on vacation at the beach. The full kitchen is complete with everything you would require to prepare home cooked meals. Plenty of seating at the dining table that seats 6. The living room has a gas fireplace and is furnished with a 42 ' flat screen TV, and full cable channels.

The master bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed, flat screen TV, and also has its own private patio area which is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee or some afternoon sun. The second bedroom has a queen size bed , flat screen TV, and large closet. The third bedroom is located just off the living room area and has bunk beds (twin over full) and beautiful glass pained doors that lead outside into the courtyard/patio area. There are two full size bathrooms in the home. All linens (sheets, pillows, blankets, bath towels, beach towels) are provided.

The La Jolla Shores Cape Cod has a quiet and private courtyard/patio area, which is ideal for barbeques, outdoor dining and entertaining. There is a gas barbeque in the courtyard with all cooking utensils provided and an outdoor dining area with seating for six. A full size washer and dryer are located in the home for your convenience. Off street parking for 1-2 cars is provided in an enclosed gated driveway. Please inquire about detailed parking if two spaces are needed.

La Jolla Shores is a beach and popular vacation/residential community of the same name in La Jolla, San Diego, California. The quaint La Jolla Shores business district is a relaxed, mixed-use village encircling Laureate Park, on Avenida de la Playa in the village of La Jolla Shores. The village has several fine dining restaurants as well as plenty of casual dining places, shops, and a few galleries. You can take surf lessons and rent surfboards, boogie boards, paddle boards, and wetsuits from Surf Diva. Kayak, snorkel, and bike tours and rentals are available at San Diego Bike and Kayak.

The beach is approximately one mile long and stretches from the sea cliffs just north of La Jolla Cove to Black’s Beach south of Torrey Pines State Park. The Shores meets the Scripps Institution of Oceanography campus and Kellogg Park (with a playground right next to the beach), encompasses the Scripps Pier and borders the San Diego-La Jolla Underwater Park Ecological Reserve to the south. The beach is a popular launch point for kayakers and has a swimming area only and a surfing only area.

Sea World, Downtown Gaslamp District, PetCo Park, San Diego Zoo, Qualcomm Stadium, Mission Bay, San Diego Bay, and the Airport are all within a 10-15 minute drive.

We really enjoyed our stay - we were a group of 4 adults in La Jolla for a wedding. It’s a cute cottage with space for 4 adults and we appreciated the two bathrooms while preparing ourselves for the wedding events! The location is excellent. Very short walking distance to beach, coffee shops, restaurants and corner store. For full grocery you would need a car. Brant was a good host - excellent communication and helpful with checkin.

Our group of three had plenty of space and thoroughly enjoyed the property. We used the wagon, chairs and boogie boards that were provided and walked to the beach easily. Definitely recommend this location for quick access to the beach and restaurants.

This beach cottage was perfect for our family of 5 teens and adults. Located 2 blocks from the main shops and restaurants and another short block to the beach, this cottage shares a property with the main house. It was very well equipped with beach chairs, beach towels, linens and kitchen necessities. It’s a quiet neighborhood near the action. Highly recommend and hope to return.

The location of this property was great! A short walk to the beach and some cute shops and restaurants. The cabana was the perfect size for 3 people and had a quaint porch for morning coffee. The owner was great with rapid responses to any questions we had.

We opted to pay for a great location and so very enjoyed being just a block from restaurants and two blocks from the beach. Great neighborhood but still appreciated that we could park both cars within the locked gate. Its a small but very functional house. 6 could sit at the dining table and about 4 on the nearby couch, which provided enough seating for the 7 of us. Loved having a washer and dryer too, complete with detergent. Owner lived on the other house on the property which was very nice. Plenty of hot water for the whole group. San Diego traffic can be heavy, so I am glad we were only 15 minutes from the zoo and Balboa Park. Even during crunch times, it was a bearable drive. Enjoy nature -- go to Torrey Pines and Sunset Cliffs!!

All was great! The configuration of the master bedroom could be improved but beds were good. My sister loved the guest bedroom & bathroom. There was enough toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap & laundry soap so that we didn’t need to buy any. Nice outside sitting area too. Easy walk to the beach & restaurants. We enjoyed sunset & happy hour at the Shores Hotel restaurant, happy hour & dinner at the Sandpiper, & breakfast & lunch at the Shorehouse Kitchen. Recommend the Contemporary Art Museum & the Sunday Farmers Market in La Jolla, Balboa Park in San Diego, Pount Lomo, the nearby La Jolla coastal walk, & Torrey Pines State Park.

Having lived in La Jolla for 31 years I needed to come back to a quaint cottage that reminded my of my life in So. California. This adorable place was perfect and could not have been better. It was up to date, spotless and the perfect amount of space. Everything worked perfectly from the fire pit to the secluded parking gate. Appreciate your effort towards all the little details. We really enjoyed the common areas and the fire pit. The cottage was very conveniently located for our event at the Birch Aquarium, downtown La Jolla with easy freeway access. Lots of good places to eat within walking distance.

The cottage was charming. The location was very convenient. The outdoor areas were wonderful. Updated kitchen, super. There are a few areas that could be improved on to enhance guest’s safety and convenience. We would have enjoyed having more bath towels and additional towel racks in the bathrooms. Marking the floors where levels change would make the transition safer. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

We normally stay closer to laJolla cove hotel but decided to try this instead this time. This is a great place very near the beach and we loved it. Very comfortable and clean house that comfortably sleeps 6. Having a nice parking spot for the rental car was a huge bonus. Will stay here again if available!
