About this house rental

Lazy Daze is a wonderful beachside 2nd row, 5 bedroom 4 bath house that is a quick ONE minute walk to the beach in Jamaica Beach (west end). Fabulous Gulf views from 2 decks; sunset views from 3rd deck off Master bedroom. Open concept living room/kitchen/dining room. Lazy Daze is spacious enough for extended families and multi-generational families. Pedestrian access to the beach is via dune stairs across from house. Golf carts are allowed on the beach. Vehicle access is 4 houses down, on Buccaneer Drive.

NOTE: Sleeps up to 10 adults per Jamaica Beach City. Please reach out if you have children 12 or under.

The main floor has 4 bedrooms & 3 baths (shower/tub combo in master bath). An additional bedroom with full bath, with its own entrance, is located on ground floor. NO BUNKBEDS in any bedroom!!!

The open concept living/dining/kitchen area has easy access to the large deck. Large round dining table plus lots of seating on the outside decks. The living area boasts a large screen Smart TV and several couches and easy chairs for a relaxing visit with family and friends.

The kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless-steel appliances! We have equipped the kitchen with all the comforts of home: blender, toaster, coffee makers, microwave, dishwasher, pots & pans, dishes & glassware, utensils, and even a crock pot and rice cooker.

Guests must be able to navigate one flight of stairs.

Check in any time after 4PM, check out no later than 11AM. Early check in/late check out upon prior approval only.

Lazy Daze has a fully paved driveway and parking area for up to 7 cars. No street parking allowed.

NOTE: Upon booking this property, you agree to: all rules, will sign our House Agreement, provide a copy of primary renter's driver license, provide a guest list of everyone's names and ages, within 48 hours of booking. You will also be required to place a security deposit of $500 three days prior to arrival.

POLICIES
• Must be at least 25 years old to book and be staying at the property (NO booking for others)
• No events, parties or large gatherings including prom, bachelor/bachelorette, graduation, TEEN or chaperoned groups – if this is your intent, please look elsewhere
• No smoking inside or on decks/balconies. Please dispose of cigarette butts appropriately.
• Dog friendly with fee – prior approval, no puppies, max 2 dogs – please dispose of dog feces, hair
• Please keep dogs off furniture, including beds
• Requires one flight of stairs and may be difficult for guests with limited mobility
• Fully paved driveway for up to 7 vehicles – no parking on grass nor street
• Additional fees and taxes may apply
• Photo ID may be required upon check-in

Violation of any rules (above) or stated in our House Agreement may constitute loss of security hold.

Cancellation policy: Guest receives 100.00% of rent if cancellation occurs at least 60 days before arrival minus a $75 processing fee; Guest receives 50.00% of total rent agreed to if cancellation occurs between 30 days and 60 days before arrival minus a $75 processing fee. If only 50% of rent has been paid, only taxes and cleaning fees collected will be refunded. No refunds within 30 days of arrival.

So exited to have all five of our children and our grandchildren together for a family vacation! We had a wonderful time! The house was perfect for us, plenty of room. Everything was clean and nice. We found everything we needed in the kitchen too. We will definitely keep you in mind for a future date!

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! This is the perfect spot, less than 1 minute from the house to the beach. The owners were super responsive and helpful when we reached out. Would definitely stay again. House does require black trash bags due to HOA rule and we were unaware until we arrived.

The property is even larger than it seems in the listing. All the bedrooms and bathrooms are in excellent condition and have lots of amenities. It's the kind of house we like. Very much would recommend.

The house was large we had 5 adults and a small shitzu. All had their own room and bath. The kitchen was large for group cooking, plenty of utensils The barbecue pit could be replaced it's rather wore out You can sit on the decks and see the surf, but they don’t have chairs to take to the beach so you need to bring your own.When we were there the refrigerator was leaking water from the bottom we alerted the owners and keep a towel on the floor to catch the water during our stay. The location is perfect just behind the house is a convenient store, restaurant, gas station within walking distance. I would stay there again .

We stayed for a week in March. What a lovely place. There was enough room for everyone in our group. The large round table was perfect for our dinners together and our many games played in the evening. Our pups enjoyed lounging on the deck as much as we did! We plan to stay again.

We had a house full between two families 5 adults, 3 teens, and 2 under the age of 3. We had plenty of room to accommodate everyone’s needs. Wifi and TV was easy and had no issues. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment. The location was so close to the beach and we loved the open top patio to stargaze at night. Highly recommend!

Overall good! Location good but claim your spot on the beach early before everyone shows up, great air conditioning, clean and no bad odors or bugs. Two of the bathrooms were in private bedrooms and one of which was downstairs by the garage. One of the upstairs bathrooms had a leaking toilet so we couldn’t use it. The pots and pans provided were Teflon and had scratches. The sofa bed mattress in the master bedroom was unusable. The king bed mattress in that same room, you could feel the springs poking thru. Water was dripping from the front of the fridge on to the floor. We had a big group and overall everyone said they liked it and would rent again. Thanks to Jom and Monica who were very nice and attentive!

This house has alot of bedrooms and bathrooms. We had 11 people 7 adults, 3 kids, and an infant. Plenty of space for everyone. It’s very clean and has all amenities you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. The best is location and ocean breeze. Thank you so much for having us.

We rented the house for spring break. Location and size of cabin were perfect. Cleanliness was a bit lacking. However, after contact the property managers regarding the cleanliness, they indicated they had just changed companies and would address the issues.

First I want to start by saying we had a blast at Mardi Gras, and coming home each night to this property made each night ever better. Midnight on the first night we had our birthday celebration, then round two at the Mardi Gras Parade on The Strand. Thank you for having us here, we all enjoyed our stay, and hope to come back again.

It was fine

I would have preferred a cleaner environment - clean the back of everywhere and thing. The refrigerator did not get cold enough - no way to adjust it. Smelled - older than I would have liked, felt like any old dorm room or building. However, we didn't stay at the property much for entertaining/ment. We were there for a Large family reunion - and the properties that were not near the beach were so much better - we visited at least four others.

We had a big family gathering with people from 2 months to 73 and found that overall the property is great for all ages. Larger groups may need more towels. Really well supplied kitchen- plenty of cookware, silverware, dishes, etc. As with all rentals, nothing is perfect. Close to beach-easy walk.

We had a great time at this beach house. Super close to the beach. The little apartment in the bottom is perfect for two people who wants to be away from the ruckus upstairs with all the kiddos.(grandparents) The beds in the home are old spring mattresses that should be updated soon. Other than that this was a great place. We will be back again!

We had 14 kids and adults enjoy the stay here, eating out on the deck, 140 steps to the beach every day, and plenty of room inside to cook, eat and play! The few maintenance issues were responded to quickly. The bedroom downstairs was used and enjoyed (no odors). Parking 4 cars was easy. Store within walking distance. Kitchen well equipped. We'll return!

We had a great time! The house accommodated all 15 of us, no problem. The house was nice and clean. It was in a great location with easy beach access. The only “issue” we had was the lack of hot water. It’s expected with a big group, but it seem to only last for 1 maybe 2 quick showers. Not a complaint ~ just a heads up.

Was a perfect fit for our group. I think it could have accommodated up to about 15 comfortably. Great kitchen stocked with everything needed for prepping and cooking and the charcoal grill was a nice touch! We loved the decks, everyone had a favorite spot on the upper and lower decks. The beach was a 90 second walk over the bridge. The hosts communicated very well and all of our needs were met.

We picked this house for two reasons. Super close to the beach and tons of bedrooms and bathrooms. It was wonderful for our family because everyone had a bed and we had plenty of bathrooms. And we could see the beach from our house and be on the beach in 2 minutes. So much fun. The house was amazingly clean, especially for a house near a sandy beach. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was great for cooking each night. The hosts communicated everything with us very well and we had a lovely cosy time at the house. Huge deck and I really liked how the stairs up and down had gates...my dog couldn't run away while we were enjoying the decks! Would love to go back!

Lot of pros - good location, clean property, well furnished and nice house for family get together. Cons - 1. 5th bedroom (downstairs) is completely dethatched and not at par with the rest of the property in terms of a beach house experience. Online listing details on this should be improved to explain this clearly. We decided not to use it and just adjusted in the space upstairs. 2. TVs and mattresses need an upgrade in most bedrooms. 3. MOSQUITOES!!! They were all around the house making it impossible to enjoy the nice outdoor space. This is probably a seasonal problem.

Nice Place for Families

Lazy Daze was the perfect place for annual family beach vacation. The 5 bedrooms and 4 baths was spacious and quite accommodating for us, our grown children and grandchildren. The location is just a few steps from the beach and vehicle access to the beach (to haul our canopies, coolers and toys) is just yards away. Everything was very clean and prearrival instructions were complete. We hope to return next year.
