Clean, great location. Loved seeing all the bears. Owners very easy to communicatexwith. Have recommended Echo Place to a friend looking to do a family trip to Gatlinburg.

Our family vacation to Smoky Mountain National Park and Dollywood was made better by our rental home. It had ample space and many amenities, including a hot tub and access to a community pool. Although the bathrooms are a bit outdated and the bears are definitely smart enough to get into your car, we had a great time and would stay here again.

Beautiful place to stay and enjoyed the bears.
Will stay again real soon

Wow! We decided to take a much-needed vacation to the Smokies with our whole family, and Echo Place truly delivered! The location was incredibly convenient—just a 10-minute drive to Gatlinburg and 25 minutes to Pigeon Forge, so we were right in the heart of everything.
The cabin was perfect for our group of eight, with ample space for everyone to find a little privacy or rest when needed. The views were spectacular, and we had the added excitement of regular(daily) visits from two neighborhood black bears. (A reminder: don’t feed the bears, keep your cars locked, and use the bear bins for your trash!) We saw several neighbors, unfamiliar with how clever bears can be, having their cars searched by these curious visitors.
When we return to the Smokies, we’ll definitely try to stay here again—it was that great! Thank you so much to the owners for Hosting us!

The house was great!!! Plenty of room for everyone to be together but also have their own space. Communication with Jay was great, he answered my questions immediately and sent all information quickly and accurately. The place was just as it was pictured. The bears were beautiful, inquisitive, and in abundance but that is what the Smoky Mountains are know for. I will definitely rent this house again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Echo Place. Jay was very easy to work with and communicated well about the cabin and very quickly. We saw bears each day of our stay around the cabin. The community pool was also very clean and had an attendant on duty.

Nice sized cabin, up in the mountains. We saw 9 bears during our stay, one which tore our vehicle door handle off trying to get in (it was locked), but that’s what happens up in the mountains. Everything was cleaned and nice! It is a steep and curvy drive up to the cabin, but it’s within minutes to Gatlinburg ♥️

From day one we loved the place. We saw a momma bear and her two cubs. Super friendly. The house stayed cool, and we were able to enjoy the scenery and make beautiful memories with our kids.

We enjoyed our stay! The house is so cute and has all of the amenities we want. We loved starting the day on the deck and even got to see some bears! The location is fantastic. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a great spot for our three-generations family trip to the Smoky Mountains and an ideal location for heading into the park or going into Gatlinburg. Lots of room to spread out or gather all together. We saw bears almost every day! Our host Jay was very responsive and a pleasure to work with.

Good place to stay. No issues, everything was as advertised.

This was an amazing cabin!! We will definitely stay here again. We saw 6-8 bears while we were at the cabin. They would walk right by the porch. The place was very clean and had everything you needed like towels, dishes, pans, coffee pot with coffee ect. They even had a game room on the bottom floor. We had a blast playing shuffle board. The cabin is close to everything, but far enough away you didn't hear a bunch of noise. I have recommended this cabin to all my family and friends that are planning on going to Tennessee.

Wonderful experience from the original booking to leaving. Great instructions from owners and a wonderful, quiet location. It was a great weekend and we will look to stay here if we’re in the area again.

Great cabin for our family of 6. Got to see bears up close and personal on atleast 29 separate occasions without having to leave the cabin. The multiple decks and doors came in handy. We didn't use the hot tub do to the chlorine being so strong, but that was alright. If we ever go back to gatlinburg, we will definitely stay at echo place. Jay and Susan were great hosts. Thank you both.

We had a wonderful time staying at the cabin. It was comfortable and very welcoming! The little touches left by the host, like the small baskets in the kitchen with tea bags and all of the coffee essentials made us feel like we truly were guests in someone’s home. I highly recommend this property.

This was a cute and cozy little cabin, we loved that each floor had its own room and bathroom, it helped meet the needs of all our group. Overall a nice cabin but could use a little updating, but it feels on par for a stay in Gatlinburg. Close to everything on the main strip. Would recommend this stay!

Exactly as described - three bedroom cabin, a bath and bedroom on each floor. Nice location not too far up the mountain but far enough for a nice view. Furnishings are a little bit 'shabby chic' but the baths and kitchen were immaculate and the beds were comfy, nothing that would detract from having a great time with your family :) Word of warning - use Jay's directions... we misplaced them and used the GPS, which gave took us on a wild tour of the mountain with some very narrow winding roads

The cabin was easy to locate, especially with the directions given. The neighboring cabins weren't too close, so we had decent privacy.

The house is in a great location, easy to get to and very comfortable. Communication with the owners was easy and fast. We would love to stay here again when we go back to the area.

We booked this cabin for a girls weekend and we absolutely loved it. The stay is exactly what we was looking for. We enjoyed the peace and serenity this cabin offered.

Got married during our stay.
We enjoyed our stay and our cabin.
There were plenty of games and activities in the game room. There’s plenty of room and space. Hot tub was great.
The matress’ and pillows need to be replaced, as they are both hard and flat. Especially on the lower level
There were only two trash bags available. The grills outside were un-usable.
Overall we had a great stay and the location is really convenient to town, the bypass, Ober-Gatlinburg, and the National Park.
Would stay there again.
Thanks
Mark

The hot tub was great, the amount of activities at the house were above expectations. Beds were comfy. Would be nice if they provided bath ammenities as some of my friends did not read the welcome letter i forwarded to them. I was the only one with shampoo and soap. The location was perfect, super close to Ober. Best to drive up and down during the day as it got really foggy and dangerous on the windey roads at night.

Property was easy to find and close to all activities. Well stocked and even had coffee which was great because I forget to bring some! It is an older property but was very clean and felt just like home. Great hot tub and plenty of games and movies. I highly recommend it and will definitely stay again.

It’s was nice, quiet and relaxing and plenty for the kids to stay entertained

The property was in a great location but definitely needs a deep clean. No mold or health concerns but I washed the sheets after finding dirt and grime and there was a lot of dust as well as most of the cooking pots were dirty. Overall we had a good time but would not stay here again.

Property is in a great location minutes to downtown Gatlinburg, Ober mountain, and Pigeon Forge, but it is VERY old and outdated.
This was reminiscent of staying at your grandparents house that they have lived in most their lives and nothing has been updated. There are initials carved into the back of the bathroom doors. Hot refrigerator bulb hanging down in the refrigerator that no one has attempted to fix. Saw a couple roaches upstairs (not waterbugs or outdoor bugs, actual roaches).
The plumbing is wonky in most rooms, the upstairs shower handle turns around and around so its hard to get the water temp right.
I will say that the owners are very responsive and sent someone to replace the leaking kitchen faucet right away.
Also, the cabin sleeps 8 but the inside social areas are small and the living room only comfortably sits 4 adults.
Personally, I would not book this again until the inside gets an upgrade.

The cabin is in a convenient location close to downtown Gatlinburg. The cabin is clean however, it needs a little TLC in regards to furnishings and decorating. The cabin is not as large as we had anticipated but did not keep us from having a great time.

Had a wonderful trip. Location is great. You are up in the mountains with lots of bears but minutes from downtown Gatlinburg.

Loved the location! Jay was super nice! My only issue was the cleanliness and needs a lot of love and attention on the inside. I know that kind of stuff takes time so I look forward to seeing what Jay does with the place in the future.

We had a wonderful time..this was up eniugh where you got the mountain experience but just minutes to Gatlinburg..we saw bears within inches everyday of our stay..It was clean and very comfortable place

The location is literally in the mountains but only about 5 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg. We did see a bear on the property within seconds of us pulling into the driveway. The house itself is kind of unique. Plenty of room for the 6 of us (2 adults and 4 kids). It is a bit older and the downstairs was musty and it seems to have older carpet and furnishings, but the setting is lovely and the back porch is wonderful. Also the downstairs bed mattress wasn't super comfortable, but wasn't bad enough to ruin our sleep. The kids slept well upstairs though! We spent a lot of time at the Smokey Mountain National Park and doing things in Gatlinburg.
