I was happy there

I like everything, house is gorgeous, very beautiful, very comfortable room, I like shower very much, people are very good, they give us tea and some juices , very good location. It’s one of the best place I saw on Sri Lanka for 4 months. I recommend For everybody who likes comfort and good service.

Bad

The place is clean and close to the center

They where so rude when I was leaving and paying, they charged more money and I was extorted for one of them. Never before I had a similar experience. I really can't recommend this place.

lovely and kind family

very nice and friendly people. as it was New Year's Eve they invited us to have breakfast with them, it was great! They welcomed us very well and were very friendly. When I checked out they offered me 3 mangos from their backyard tree because I said I loved mangos. I truly recommend this accommodation, this family is amazing!

A nice hotel, a couple of things need to be communicated better

The hotel was in a good area, reasonably short walk to the town and to some restaurants. Had to pay for breakfast but it was very nice so I would recommend. Very friendly owners

When booking our room we selected a room with air conditioning however when we turned up, they said they couldn’t turn it on as there was a bird nest in it so we would kill the birds. however, they also said we had to pay extra for air conditioning even though it said we booked a room with it? So be careful with this. There were also ants in the bathroom.

Nice and comfy house!

Room was clean, bed was very comfy and the owner were very nice and friendly. They have a very sweet dog. The location was good for us, not fahr from shops and beach, good to walk everywhere but not so touristic area.

It was a bit hard to find as there is no sign at the Road but we called the owner and he was very helpful. The additionally booked breakfast was all right, we had better for the price. But all in all the Place is very nice and I would reccomend it!

Clean and big super comfortable room Luxury level hotel and service. Delicious foods.you should really eat there! Beautiful beach and quite beach At the hotel garden many birds and beautiful space..best place to relax and enjoy.. In the hotel waterfall and fish pond.full of tiles and very clear. super friendly staff.outdoor dining area. Pure relaxation here and was directly located to tangalle beach.beautiful fish in the beach and reallt cool beach nice place to relax.. ..................... Special thing is foods and beach.. Really delicious foods.many curry plates (7) Outdoor dining area You can not eat this all foods.big food table. Already mis it

Really nice staff. Delicious foods and too much for even 3 people 🙂 7 curries Nice garden and parking area. Near to the beach. There is many beautiful fishes to see when you swim they offer swimming glasses (free) (free towel) Clean room and bathroom.everything white Fruit juice free.. Actually more than value for money. That person is perfect..when we are in the mirissa they gave us euro exchange rate for 120..but this owner give us 150 rate..that was the best thing happened to me.kind and honorable person.. Cool and calm place specially.there is a waterfall.

Star level hotel

Wow its like a star level hotel ⭐⭐⭐ after i arrived they offer free drinks,safety kit.. Specially big breakfast no need to have lunch again 😍 So much clear and clean room 🤗 Big garden,after day travel i can sit and relax outside.there is chairs and trees...calm and really nice place to stay..and specially very friendly and cool staff. They advice me about beautiful locations. Dinner is special about 7 curry with fish.prowns,cuttlefish,eggs.fruits....taste is super. (Star level service) ✌️ In the living area they have comfortable sofa and water fall...outside full of trees. Big and comfortable beds.i really like this hotel... Actually the best place i have ever booked 😘😘

Homestay fantastic

I stayed here because I never stayed at a place that had no reviews and curiously got me. The space is welcoming with high ceilings throughout and a water feature inside the living room with fish. The family is unbelievably hospitable. You must eat dinner here, the traditional food is served but I have to say after spending 3 weeks here eating this same meal, theirs was the most flavorful. The 22 year old daughter is the chef and she really knows how to bring the flavor into these dishes. I had tea and cake for snack and the tea set is lovely. The street is quiet so you won’t hear the typical horns blowing, busses flying by and sitting on the large porch into the evening is splendid. The king bed was super comfy with beautiful full coverage 4 post mosquito netting. Large bathroom and good water pressure. The best part about my short stay was talking and getting to know the family. The location is near the harbor with a 50 meter walk to the main road and about 150 meter walk to the beach past a nice Buddhist Stuppa, it is a quaint local beach park, sand crabs can be seen crawling around, the rocks not to far away create a vortex of the 2 directional waves meeting at the shore. Plenty of kids playing in the water. This was a good price and exceptionally clean. Parking is inside the fenced yard and is perfect if you have a scooter. I would return again.

On the harbor side of Tangalle, must walk to the longer Tangalle beach.
