This was a great place to stay. I would recommend.

There was no breakfast at this location.

There is no view except from a very high window in the bathroom and the bedroom. Luckily there are many lights in the flat so the place was bright.

Stunning apartment, perfect location

Stunning apartment, spotlessly clean and short walk to centre of Baveno. Has absolutely everything you could need for any length of stay, sad we only had 2 nights there.

The only slight faff was having to unlock the security gates to get in and out its an actual key not a sensor or swipe, so you had to get out of the car each time, but that's only a tiny issue for lazy folk like me!!

An amazing apartment with everything we could have needed, in an amazing location. It is only a 2 minute walk into the heart of Baveno for food,a drink or to catch the ferry across the lake. I would highly recommend a stay here if your coming to the area.

Our 3 days stay here was dreamy - for the view, for the ambiance, for the location, and for the historical experience.

It is a fantastically modern setting built within a rustic castle. The apartment has incredible views to the lake and all the modern amenities over two floors. There is a private, protected car park and an elevator to take you to the top. The kitchen was stocked with oils and spices and there was a starter bottle of water and some candy available. There was a washer for clothes with detergent and a washer for dishes with detergent. Baveno was only a short walk away.

The property was a castle and as such sat on a steep hill. We found tiny ants on the downstairs floor.

Fantastic stay in historic Baveno

Lara was a fantastic host. She was easy to get in touch with using whats app (we do not speak much Italian so I highly recommend this option) . We were on a ski trip so we did not pack lightly and she picked us up from the train station when no Taxis were available! Otherwise it is a very close walk from the station. The area was very interesting with historical areas, restaurants and a grocery store close by. The property itself was also very interesting and made staying at Baveno that much more memorable but the apartment was spotless with every convenience of a luxury stay. We can not recommend it more!

A splendid castle; well equipped with all the modern conveniences. We especially enjoyed the views from our apartment. The decoration was in good taste.

We would have liked to have met the owner, Silvano, because he seemed nice via messages. There was some difficulty communicating with the person in charge of giving us the keys.

Perfectly Formed

This apartment is beautifully and ingeniously created from the roof space in an old tower. The inside is beautifully fitted out with everything needed for a comfortable stay and the views are stupendous, particularly from the bedroom and bathroom. The location is quiet and secure and yet very close to the Lake and Baveno centre.

Excellent Apartment, stunning views and great location

Really nice apartment with a lot of character in this beautiful castle right next to the lake with amazing views to the lake. The interior is very nice and modern and really bright. It was spotless clean. The host Silvano is really great and very helpful, providing us with anything that we could need.
