LOCATION: Located at 6100+ foot level, our mountain home is located high in the Valley (SNOW country) in Pine Mountain Club - a close destination with a far-away feel - and because there are no stop lights or streetlights, no sirens, no car alarms, no noise from neighbors or 'village' activities, no smog or traffic, you'll feel miles away from city life at our mountain home. With a true four-season mountain climate, our home is the perfect year-round destination for a quick getaway!

We had such a lovely time here with the little one (1 1/2 years old) and our two pups. Area was perfect for our getaway. Owners were so helpful, communicative, and cabin was very well equipped. They provided great information, tips, and recommendations. Thank you so much!

One of the nicest vacation rentals we have stayed in. Secluded, quiet, beautiful, cozy, well-decorated, and well-appointed. The hosts obviously care about their property and about the comfort of their guests. Well done! And dog friendly, too!

Everything about our stay was perfect! Lori called ahead of time to go through things we might need to know before heading up and the house was in a great location and very clean. More than enough space for our family of four. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and sledding near Mt. Pinos, which was a short drive. The locals in town were very friendly. Thanks, Lori!

My husband and I were looking for a nice winter weekend away and this cabin was the perfect fit! We really appreciated their pet-friendly policy which allowed us to bring our two Pugs along. The cabin itself is quite spacious, clean, and comfortable, with the Great Room upstairs providing all the amenities for a cozy winter weekend. We especially enjoyed lounging on the couches with warm blankets next to a roaring fire. While we loved our wintry weekend, this place would be very nice in the warmer months as well - there is a lovely deck outfitted with a bbq and a nice seating area, and a nice view of the surrounding forest and mountains. We can't wait to come back!

The cabin looks just like the picture! It was easy to find. It is well stocked providing most everything you need. It has a nice size kitchen and a nice sized dining room table much like yours at home. The upper deck has a table and chairs if you want to eat outside or BBQ.
If you like movies they have a huge stock for a cold winter day in front of the fire. Large windows in living room provide a nice view. There are two bathrooms downstairs ( bedrooms are on ground level and living area is above.) Host is wonderful. They are available to answer questions and have taken the time to assure the cabin has everything you want. In the winter you will appreciate the bed warming pad under the sheet,… just turn it on a little before you go to bed and you will be cozy and comfortable.

Wonderful stay!
My husband and I along with our 2 dogs had a wonderful stay at this cozy house! It literally has everything you need to enjoy the comforts of home while feeling like you are in a secluded mountain community. The neighborhood is super quiet with only the sounds of nature reaching you. Lori and Tim have taken care of everything so all you need to bring are some groceries and a desire to slow down and take in the beautiful surroundings. Lori was super helpful before our stay with all the details and then let me know that she was there to help in case anything came up during our stay. It was a pleasure to deal with her and she is a perfect host! We would not hesitate to stay here again!

The kitchen is well stocked too which was really nice.
Thanks for a nice stay.

Relaxing Retreat in the Forest
We spent three nights along with my parents in this squeaky clean and comfortable home. Both bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed with high quality linens and a comfortable bed. The location is absolutely great; close to Fern's lake, hiking trails, and restaurants. We especially enjoyed sitting on the private sunny deck amongst the beautiful trees.
Lori was absolutely a pleasure to communicate with before and during our stay. She was so kind and accommodating, we look forward to returning for another visit soon!

Cozy Cabin in the Mountains
We really enjoyed our stay at Pine Mountain Club, in Lori and Tim's beautiful cabin. Communication with Lori was wonderful, with easy check-in and every query answered promptly. Spotlessly clean, fully stocked kitchen, and comfortable beds. Up high in the trees, with beautiful views of the surrounding forest from every window. A deck with barbecue was a lovely way to relax in the evening when the sun was setting. Two bedrooms with queen size beds and their own full bathrooms. One with shower and one with tub. Guest passes allow you to play golf, tennis, or swim in the pool (when its open in summer) at the club. Perfect for a couple, a couple of friends or family. Well priced for a lovely stay in the quaint location of Pine Mountain Club.

Cozy Winter Getaway
This was our second time to the beautiful Pine Mountain Club area as a family; our first time in this home. The home was quaint & cozy. The bedrooms are on the bottom floor and the coldest part of the house- BUT the beds were SO comfortable- and even had mattress warmers! The plush towels and well-supplied log fireplace was also a family favorite! While the home was tidy when we arrived, it needed a more detailed cleaning. Communication with the owners was pleasant and smooth! Per request for my daughter, they even sent us some pictures of the deer they’ve seen on the property. Grateful for our family getaway!

Safe escape in 2020
The Sunset View cabin was a perfect place to spend a few days away from the horrors of regular, daily life in late 2020. Our four-person covid bubble thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lori was always a text away, the cabin was exceedingly comfortable and well-apportioned, and the stargazing is unmatched. There's not much to do in the area besides hiking and nature-seeking, so be prepared to make your own fun (they have hundreds of movies and satellite tv to help with that). We hope to come back in the Spring (probably still wearing masks)! :)

Wonderful Cabin
I've been going to Pine Mountain for a really long time now, and staying at Lori's cabin was amazing. Very clean and a great location close to the main center. She was there for us the whole time when we needed something. Quick reply via text. Highly recommend staying here and hope to stay here again soon. Thanks Lori!

My family was seeking a beautiful mountain getaway that: a) was close to Los Angeles, b) had decent internet service so we could do on-line work/school during the day, and c) allowed pets. This place checked all the boxes and more. Lori provided me with tons of useful info and tips before our trip. Check-in / check-out was super easy. My 3 teenage girls successfully did their zoom-type online classes for about 6 hours/day using the provided wifi while I did email and listened to podcasts. Before the trip I was concerned that the wifi might not be able to handle all of us at once; Lori helped ease my worries by providing several wifi backup plans (which we never had to use). The cabin was super comfy and very well stocked. Great fireplace, great TV. We even had fresh snow, which was a special treat for all of us (including the dogs)!!!! When the weather warmed and the snow cleared on the balcony, we enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine and feeding the bluejays. We also went on a couple of the local hikes (beautiful scenery) and saw some deer! We loved the local Mexican restaurant (La Lena) so much, we went there twice! The local bakery was also good. Lori was super responsive whenever we had a question. Overall, it was a great getaway for us!

Very comfortable property and great owners.
Our first impression when entering this property was how clean everything was and how much thought has gone in to making the house as welcoming as possible. All the furniture and decorative items are very nice and in great condition. We have rented houses where there was not even salt and pepper. These owners have gone above and beyond by having an extensive collection of games, movies and everything you could need in the kitchen. There was even basic condiments in the fridge. The house is also very close to the little village. Our communication with the owner couldn't have been better.

This was the perfect getaway to deal with the current lockdown. The neighborhood was quite and there was a good view of the mountains. The rental was very clean and well kept and the kitchen was well stocked. Anything you would need for a getaway was there. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking to getaway. The owners were very nice and friendly.

Getaway weekend in charming Pine Mountain Club
We arrived Friday afternoon, following a beautiful drive thru Los Padres forest. The property is high on the hill with fantastic views. In the morning, we were greeted by lots of different bird songs. First night we got great take-out enchiladas from the local Mexican place (reasonable priced, too!). We hiked on the Waterfall trail --- beauitful with water still running in middle of summer heat. Next day we hiked Emigdio trail which was quite a neat longer hike. Very secluded but all the ammenities of home. The home even had a coffee grinder which we needed as I only brought coffee beans! It was quite hot during the afternoons, but following the clear directions of the owners, the inside stayed cooler, especially downstairs bedrooms. Would definitely stay again, thanks!!

Lori and Tim's home is such a pleasure to stay at. From the details of the homey decor to the comfort and amenities provided, it all come together to make a pleasant and memorable experience. Waking up to snow the day before, and through, Thanksgiving was an added benefit from nature. Beautiful cabin, beautiful location. Mike and Michele

Tim and Lori's cabin is a perfect getaway for relaxing, stargazing, and bird watching. The quiet and solitude of the neighborhood can't be beat. A pool and charming golf course are just a short distance away. Dining out is mediocre at best, so bring your own food and utilize their well-stocked kitchen. You'll love the place so much you won’t want to leave anyway! We’re already talking about a return trip! For astronomers, Mt Pinos and its incredible whole sky view is just a short drive away but the viewing from the deck (mostly southerly views) is very nice, as well.
