About this house rental
Casa “Mas Mañanas” is a private home built on a cliff overlooking the beautiful Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. It is located inside the Tango Mar resort community with access to some of the amenities of the resort: a boutique hotel with great restaurant and bar, spa services, horseback riding on the beach etc.
Tango Mar is a resort, but the location of Casa Mas Mañanas is so private that you feel you are in the middle of the jungle. With no neighbors visible on either side, you simply hear the waves of the Pacific crashing on the beach in front of you.
Numerous bird species, howler and white faced monkeys, and a jungle creek that runs along the back of the house enhance the serene and tropical feel. Additionally, a short jungle trail takes you down to the beach and the hotel in less than three minutes!
Mas Mañanas is a traditional tico wood beach house, with an open kitchen and living area and two fully enclosed air conditioned master suites with king beds and en suite bathrooms. It has two more air conditioned bedrooms and a bathroom in the guesthouse casita, sleeping up to 8 people. Plenty of ceiling fans help circulate the air along the deck and in the bedrooms, and enhance the cooling effect of the Ocean breezes. Every feature of this house was designed to give its guests the true tropical Costa Rica experience. But in case you miss it, wireless internet is also available!
The house has its own private and amazing natural stone infinity pool boasting unobstructed views of the Pacific, and the surrounding expansive deck and rancho is the best place to have a barbecue at night under the stars.
Enjoy what the Southern Nicoya peninsula has to offer: great surf in Sta Teresa and Mal Pais, shopping, great restaurants and a bohemian atmosphere in Montezuma, natural parks in Curu, Isla Tortuga and Cabo Blanco, fishing, zip-lines, or just relax in your hammock with a glass of wine and the sound of the waves in your own private tropical paradise!

This property was absolutely beautiful! Looked just as it did in all the pictures. We traveled from Florida a family of 5, two 10 year olds and one 7. Cori the property manager was so helpful with setting up all our activities, everyone showed up and picked us up to take us to our tours as promised. We enjoyed brunch at the resort next to the property every morning. Even woke up to monkeys in the back yard and the macaws flying around were so neat. Several of our friends have asked for the info of the property. We will definitely be back. Pura Vida!

This property is all that it advertises in terms of location and the spectacular views. The cleaning staff (Marisol) did her job and was helpful. There were many down sides:
The stove needs replacing as the burners are erratic and the oven never worked even after our reports for service. Lizards roam the ceiling in the kitchen and leave loads of turds that make morning meals an ordeal. Please get a refrigerator with an ice maker. Don't lock up the laundry. Do a thorough cleaning every month, at least. We were told to reset the breaker to get the oven to work. Instead, I simply pulled the stove forward. It revealed the small dump that existed with place mats, silver wear and mounds of lizard turds. On our final night, there was a rain storm and two of the bedrooms leaked leaving water in our rooms. And yes, please repair the windows or use blinds. It is not easy to sleep with light filtering into your bedroom.

Was a great stay which we did not want to leave! Cori the property manager and her staff were absolutely amazing. Enrique the professional driver was the best man that could have drove us around.
We can not wait to book this place again!!

We were a group of 5 women there on a girls getaway. We LOVED this house! It was safe, clean, and Cori the Property Manager is amazing!! She was so helpful with everything from helping to coordinate excursions to making sure we had everything we needed at the house. She was the reason our trip was perfect!
The house is located on a hillside with amazing views! The sunsets are incredible. The pictures don’t do it justice. With this house, you get the privacy of your own space and pool, but the perks of being at a resort. A restaurant is only a quick walk away.
I would 100% recommend this house to anyone!

This is a remarkably beautiful, well designed property and accommodated our family well - we had an incredible vacation here and recommend it highly. The care taken to accommodate our stay and shape plans, it’s proximity to Santa Teresa and Montezuma, and the care of the property in general makes it a wise and economical choice. This was our first stay in Costa Rica - we can’t wait to return and would certainly stay here again.

The property is beautiful! The view of the pacific ocean was amazing and the constant sounds of the waves was everything! We enjoyed the pool and all the sounds of nature... the howler monkeys have a very distinct sound. We saw beautiful birds, an iguana and got a visit from a raccoon every night, in search for food. We had dinner prepared twice by chef, Marisol which was amazing! Cori, Marisol, Javier, Enrique, Louis (I'm missing a few names) were some wonderful people that made our trip a memorable one! Now, the only downside was the geckos!!! There's entirely too many lizards! As others have stated the bedrooms and bathrooms aren't sealed so sleeping with the lizards was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life! It was four ladies with four bedrooms but we bunked together and only used two bedrooms because we were terrified of the lizards!

This property and the people involved in running it are fantastic! The house is exactly as represented in the photos and the prior reviews paint an accurate picture of what to expect of your stay. We were a group of 5, but 8 or 9 could easily be accommodated. The house is a decent way out of town, so there's great opportunities for star gazing and wildlife sightings (we had parrots, monkeys, and more visit). Despite the fact that it rained every night we never had an issue with mosquitos or other bugs. Cori, the property manager, is super attentive and accommodating. She also gives great recommendations (ask her about a chef!). Staff comes out to tidy up the home and pool every other day, which was a lovely service I don't typically see in house rentals. The proximity of Tango Mar resort is super convenient (3 minute walk, but maybe steep for smaller or older folks) and the hotel staff is also very welcoming and willing to help schedule services and tours. This place already gets 5 stars from us, but a few extra things would absolutely top it off: additional pool floats, one or two more lounge chairs by the pool, and a few yoga mats tucked away since the deck is the perfect spot for morning flow.

Fantastic vacation
This place is a paradise on earth! From the moment you walk in to the property you feel the relaxation and divine beauty! Javier , the manager, was extremely helpful with everything we needed, he helped us to organize our tours and guided us into the right directions we needed to go for food and helped us with whatever we needed.
We cooked most of the time because we didn’t want to leave the house. The pool was so warm we stayed in it even when it rained. We came in the rain season, in August, definitely recommend! Everything was green and blooming. I woke up at 5.30 am every morning because I didn’t want to miss a thing! Our tour guy Roberto became our family for a week, he was a wonderful young spirit that showed us around! We did boat tour, zip line, and horse riding, we had sooooo much fun!
The wild life is amazing! It is right outside on a porch, the sound of the ocean, birds and monkeys, we miss it already! I can’t wait to go back and I want everyone I know to go here, you will not regret! This place is Definitely is better in life than on pictures!

A perfect end to our month long trip
Everything was wonderful. We had one issue with a gardener showing up too early and javier was extremely quick and helpful in his response. The pool with sounds of the waves crashing below are truly extraordinary. For a family with small kids the layout is not ideal because the bedrooms open to outside so we had to lock our boys in at night and then fumble for keys in the middle of the night for nightmares and bed wetting. But my husband and I would love to come back without them! I’ll never forget the sound of the waves so close, just magical ♥️

Open house concept overlooking beach - PARADISE!
This was a second house we rented during our 3 week CR vacation. We loved the view, proximity to beach (5 min walk), few people around. The house is inside a resort, so no public access. The 750 meter long beach usually had none to max 10 people on it. The clearest ocean water we have seen in CR and nice warm sand. The house has unusual concept: total open kitchen and dining/living area, meaning there are no outside walls, you are part of the nature and can see and hear the ocean all the time when cooking, eating or relaxing in the hammock. This is very relaxing and I loved it. The flip side is that any animal can come roam the same area at night or when you are away. There is a sneaky racoon that knows how to open the fridge door (really), so always block it with a heavy chair nearby. Same with trash or any food, hide it. But after all, we are in the jungle, so this was a small tradeoff for the open concept house.
There are 2 bedrooms with baths and a/c in the main house. Comfortable, but spartan. I wish the walls were finished, it now has more of a cabin look, including some holes in the walls that allow ants to come in. Bring some ant spray, it is very useful. But again, nothing to spoil a vacation in a paradise spot!
There is a smaller house behind the main one, it has 2 more bedrooms (1 has full bath).
We were rewarded with a family of huge parrots flying around the nearby trees and beach on our last day, they are over 3 foot long and like a rainbow. We used the house manager to arrange a horse riding trip right from the house, most enjoyable. Don't miss getting fresh mahi mahi from the fisherman's shop in Tambor. The pool is nice and big, the water too warm though, preferred swimming in the ocean. Nice landscaping.
Overall, very happy, best beach in CR we have been on, mainly due to the privacy.

Our vacation at this home was one we'll never forget! The property is stunning, from the open-air kitchen and living area to the pool that we had a hard time pulling ourselves away from. The place is enjoyable for our entire family, from little kids to my elderly in-laws. We encountered lots of wildlife including a "show" from scarlet macaws flying over the pool, to a friendly rhinoceros beetle crawling on the deck, to whales jumping in the ocean. The walk on the beach was beautiful, especially on a full moon night. Communication was superb, and although we did have a few issues at the beginning of our stay (which we understood were largely due to being the first people to stay since the house had been closed for the pandemic), the property manager made sure to instantly respond to any message we sent and fix any issue. From sun-up to sun-down, you won't be able to look away from the views at this house!

Tango Mar
The views were spectacular, the property is in bad need of repairs to the deck, and the listing was misleading. This property is in no way associated with Tango Mar Resort so although you have 'access' to the resort everything comes with a price, unlike when you stay at the resort. This point should be made clear in the listing. Some of the services offered by the property manager were overpriced (compared to the same services offered by the resort), and if you want to use a credit card to pay for the services expect to pay anywhere from 15%-20% more than if you pay in cash. Best part of the stay was the fishing excursion - the captain and first mate put us on 'a lot' of fish!
All in all the stay was enjoyable, the people were very friendly, and the country is beautiful. Just make sure you know what you are renting before you do.

Gorgeous view, property needs work
The property could be absolutely amazing, however there are definitely some things that need to be addressed. First, the good things:
1) The location/view is absolutely incredible. The ocean view, the monkeys, the birds, etc. Amazing.
2) Javier, the property manager, is absolutely amazing. He assisted us with anything and everything we needed. He also arranged all our tours for us (which were all amazing)
3) The pool is gorgeous and clean. Just great.
My concerns with the house:
1) The bedrooms aren't sealed. Lots of bugs in the bedrooms because the doors and windows don't seal, the walls aren't sealed, etc.
2) The air conditioning units in the bedrooms are on timers. You have to manually turn the a/c on when it shuts off. That means sleep is interrupted 2-3x every night. Super frustrating. I understand the house owner being thrifty, but this was ridiculous.
3) There were no basic amenities included with the house. For example, no salt/pepper, no wine glasses, no corkscrew, etc.
4) The decking around the pool is in serious disrepair. The wood planks are rotting and splintering (no bare feet for sure).
In summary, if we return to this part of Costa Rica, we will not stay at Mas Mañanas again. So close to being a great place to stay, but not quite there.

Absolutely stunning place, so remote in the rainforests. The pool the facilities, the activities and tour guides are all amazing. Highly recommend this place.

IF you want to get away.......
Tango Mar Beach House was an absolute God send!!!! If seclusion and beauty are a priority look no further. We stayed with our family of 4 and absolutly loved our time. We did day excursions to visit some of the local surrounding. Javier greeted us and let us know excursions that were available that his company provided which was very convenient. we had some health issues that Javier was able to steer us in the right direction. The town of Cubano is a 15 minute drive from the property and provides everything you will need for your extended stay. The local fishing Wharf in Tambor was a great way to enjoy the fresh daily catch. Sunsets on the west coast are a fun afternoon get away and beyond post card worthy. We truly enjoyed spending time with each other. The local caretakers which are around daily are not intrusive at all but readily available to assist with information. The walk to the beach is a magical walk across a cable suspension bridge. I would not consider the beach a user friendly beach regarding swimming and surfing but its sounds and beauty outweigh the swimming aspect. Uno, pool time and home cooked meals made this get away just that a get away!! If you can fly to Tambor to and get a ride or rental car here do that until they finish the road improvements from up north your fillings will thank you.

Girls trip in paradise!
We had the greatest time at Mas Mananas! The view was more stunning than I could have imagined. The photos do not do it justice. Javier was attentive and went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect for us. The pool was always clean and the gardner always made sure it was up to standard. We hired Marisol to cook for us on three of our nights there...I do not know if I have ever had better food! She was so sweet and talented.
We landed in San Jose. Customs took a long time, but Javier waited for us for about two hours until we made it through. He was waiting with a sign and his van.He was friendly right off the bat.
Pros: The ferry ride was both beautiful and fun. We had a snack, a drink, and watched the sun set. It was a good way to break up the drive.
Cons: Nothing really, it just was not as pretty as the views coming from Liberia.
We left through Liberia airport:
Pro: beautiful drive and a little closer/ less traffic. More scenery than from San Jose.
Con: A little more bumpy, but Javier did a great job of making if a very smooth drive.
Tours:
Bioluminescence Tour- We loved that it was short, but we saw so much. Very pretty and informative tour.
Dancing in Montezuma - We requested a night out dancing and they made it happen! Our tour guide was Elmer. He drove us to Montezuma and showed us the best place to dance. Outside the club they had local live music and was a very active crowd.
8 island tour- This was my favorite tour. Our guides were Gustavo, Elvis and Elmer. We dropped half of the tour off at Isle de Tortuga, then we continued on the tour of Islands. Our main stop was at at the old prison- San Lucas. Gustavo took us on the tour and was able to give us the history of the area. We returned to the beach and had a lobster lunch and did some shopping.
Dinner and shopping in Montezuma- We went shopping and had an italian dinner in Montezuma. Good prices for souviners and an active city. Thanks to our tour guide, Elmer.
Miravalles Volcano, Hot Springs, Waterfalls & Volcano Activity Centre- This was a great tour. It was a little longer drive than we anticipated, and a little rough, but def. Worth it. We took horses up to the waterfall, then took a hike to the falls. The long hanging bridge was scary at first, but overall BEAUTIFUL!! After that we headed to the hot springs and took a mud bath.
It was a girls trip, so I am sure we were a handful, but they were all so nice and welcoming!

Awesome!
I loved the "off the beaten path" location. The open air house was fabulous and we spent many hours in the infinity pool. The wildlife including beautiful birds and monkeys just added to the experience. There were some frightening growling noises that were a bit unnerving until we learned that it was only the howler monkey! We left the windows and doors to the bedrooms open so we could hear the surf breaking at night. We had no problems with bugs - maybe we were there at the right time of the year. The washer & dryer were a definite plus. The kitchen was well stocked and we ate in most of the time. There are several grocery stores within 5-10 minutes and a fresh fish market very close by.
There are a few good local restaurants as well as others in Montezuma if you want to drive about 15-20 minutes.
Javier and his crew were super! They were very attentive and accommodating. Everyone was very friendly and extremely helpful. We had a bit of a problem with connecting the wi-fi router and booster but it would've been rectified promptly if we had thought to mention it to Javier. Be sure to contact him if you have any questions or problems. He will respond right away. Also, I highly recommend contacting him for any adventures. He has lots of options available.
Three things to keep in mind when planning:
1) It's a long way from the airport in San Jose. We were glad that we had booked a small
plane to and from the airport. There are weight restrictions so check into that.
2) If you're planning to rent a car be aware that you are required to purchase insurance.
We were given two choices of $26 per day to cover only the vehicle you are driving or
$63 per day to cover your vehicle as well as any other vehicles involved in an accident.
There is a Budget Car Rental in between the small airport at Tambor and the house.
They provide complimentary pick-up at the airport and will transport you to the rental
office.
3) Be prepared to stand in the San Jose airport immigration line for an hour or more on
arrival and departure. This is important to know if you have booked the commuter
flight from San Jose to Tambor. You need to give yourself several hours in between
landing in San Jose and departing on the commuter.
Excellent vacation!

Tango Mar was a fabulous retreat on our visit to Costa Rica. Javier was a very gracious and professional host and made sure we were well taken care of. The view, beaches and accommodation exceeded our expectations in every way. We will definitely be returning to this destination!

An amazing experience!
This property is unbeliebably beautiful! I cannot imagine a more beautiful, peaceful place to stay. Everyone was very friendly and helpful- especially Javier, the house manager. He communicated via email long before our scheduled trip and helped arrange a number of things and answered all of my questions. The trip was significantly better because of his help. We definitely hope to return here again one day.
If you are thinking about staying here, just be aware that this is very much living in the outdoor, open air and the only downside to that is the bugs. There are lots of bugs and lizards that are everywhere. There was spray available for the ants, but it is still very difficult to keep bugs out of food. If you are fearful of bugs, spiders and lizards, just know that there are lots of them and that can be stressful to some. It has nothing to do with the house- it’s just the nature of living in the open jungle.
The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool is amazing- we spent hours in it! The neighboring resort is a short walk (but it is a climb) and we were welcomed by friendly staff and enjoyed several meals there. The beach is beautiful, and access is easy from the resort. We felt very safe everywhere.
Definitely consider taking the commuter flight to Tambor- it significantly shortens the trip to/from the house to the airport, and the views from the flight are spectacular.
We highly recommend letting Javier help book excursions- everyone of his staff members were great people and we had so much fun on every excursion we took.
This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and we loved it.

SPECTACULAR SETTING
The setting/view is nothing short of spectacular and definitely exceeded all our expectations. The beach at Tango Mar is absolutely amazing. It was practically a private beach there were so few people on it. The water was rough most of the time and not ideal for swimming but that did not affect our stay as the pool at the house was fantastic. Coming here and staying in an "open" house was a step out of our comfort zone. From sunrise to sunset, we had no problems. When it got dark, can't say we were fans of the bugs that came out. Solved that issue by just heading to the bar at Tango Mar each night (FYI - The bartender, Javier, was fantastic company.) In addition to the beach, take the time to visit the waterfall that falls into the ocean. It is a 20/30 minute hike (easy) from the house and well worth it.
Javier, the house manager and owner of Pura Vida Expeditions, was extremely helpful. Only a call away. He took care of setting up everything from rides, tours, and even having a pizza delivered (which was excellent). We did the boat trip to Curu and Tortuga (saw a whale mother and her newborn calf along with dolphins which was the highlight), the ATV tour (Everyone's favorite and glad we took Javier's advice on this. You really get to see a lot of the surrounding area.), and the Montezuma zip line. Our guide for each was Gustavo who was wonderful. He knows the area, habitat, and people (he could be Mayor!) extremely well. They made us feel extremely welcome and comfortable the entire time.
This was the "rainy" season and it did rain some but nothing that interfered with our stay. In fact it may have added some additional fun to our ATV trip since it rained very hard the night before and created some interesting "crossings".
The setting, the beach, the hospitality - 5 stars plus. The house itself (not counting the view and pool) probably 3 stars again more just because it was not something we were used to. Great experience, great people, great time. Pura vida!

Amazing vacation!! Highly Recommend!!
My family ( my wife and four kids, ages 9-16) and I just returned from Costa Rica and loved it! The house was as great as advertised. Took a bit to get used to the living space being exposed and ended up loving it. The views are amazing, the pool is fantastic, and hearing the ocean waves throughout the day, and especially in the evening, was fantastic. Heard the howler monkeys throughout the day and were able to get some great pictures of them. My kids loved the geckos!
Javi and his team were amazing - I don't have the word to express how great they are. Javi and his team made our stay everything we hoped it would be and more. The prices for the activities are very reasonable. Highly recommend going snorkeling at Tortuga Island and the BBQ was delicious. I also recommend flying in to Liberia, it's much easier. Only a 3.5 hour drive to the house.

Fantastic!
Just returned from our week in Tango Mar/Tambor. We had a fantastic week!
We loved the open concept of the house, the pool was amazing, and the views exceeded expectations! Saw iguanas, many macaws, butterflies, and heard howler monkeys and roosters each day. The neighborhood dog also came to visit almost every day.
The house is rustic. Took awhile to figure out the showers, and all of the noises. (We thought there was a bird trapped in the cupboard until we realized geckos make a clicking sound.) You are in the middle of a jungle so expect bugs and noises. I already miss the sound of the surf breaking!
Our vacation wouldn't have been as wonderful if it wasn't for Javier and his crew--Jason, Gustavo, and Elvies. They were wonderful and took great care of us. I would return just to hang out with these guys again. They went above and beyond for us and answered about a million of my emails. My family loved these guys!
In terms of getting to the house, I would skip San Jose and Liberia completely. We hesitated in spending the extra money for Sansa airlines to take us to Tambor. When we return, we will be taking the flight through Sansa. Definitely skip the San Jose traffic. It's pretty crazy!
We hope to come again. Phenomenal! Thank you Daniel and Javier. Pura Vida!

Beyond Fabulous!
My husband, adult daughter, and I just got back from a week at "Mas Mananas," and we're already trying to figure out how we can swing a two week stay next year. The house is amazing, the location is just incredible, and Javier--who manages the house--is 100% reliable and absolutely delightful to work with.
We wanted a combination of cool new adventures and plenty of time just hanging out , so we structured our stay such that we'd go out on an adventure one day and stay home to chill around the pool or nap in a hammock the next. Javier was flexible and super-easy to work with, making all the arrangements for our outings, which included 1) horseback riding on the beach and in the jungle 2) ATVing to the canopy zipline tour and Montezuma waterfalls and 3) boat trip to snorkel and visit Tortuga (Note: we almost chickened out of the zipline tour, but are SO glad we didn't--it was hands down the best part of the whole trip!)
"Mas Mananas" itself is nothing short of breathtaking. The photos in the listing don't come close to doing it justice. The whole open air living area is much larger than we'd thought it would be, the two bedrooms (each with its own bath) are more attractive than they appear in the photos, the infinity pool is definitely bigger than it looks, and the views from virtually everywhere are absolutely spectacular. All you see is ocean, treetops, parrots, pelicans, and numerous other birds and wildlife. We even saw white-faced monkeys in the trees in the early morning and late afternoon. The sound of the waves breaking against the shore is constant, and the beach is less than a five minute walk away down the hill at the Tango Mar Resort.
We cooked most meals at home, picking up fresh fish at the marina in Tambor (10 minutes away) and grocery shopping in Cobano for chicken, beef, fruits and veggies, etc. (15 minutes away).
We would definitely recommend this property, and are happy to share our photos and videos with anyone who's interested!

The house, Casa Mas Manana was everything and more than advertised. Highly recommend staying here.
The split bedroom design and living in the outdoors was phenomenal. The views breathtaking and the infinity pool amazing, and so welcoming after a day of exploring. We didn't rent a car and had Javier pick us up in Liberia. The ride to the house is about 4 hours, but the advantages are worth it. Seeing the diverse countryside gives one a great feel for this beautiful country. You could fly from Liberia to Tambor, if you can get flights to match up. The excursions Javier offers are many, and reasonably priced. We especially enjoyed the 4 hour ATV tour. The people in Tambor, Montezuma and everywhere we stopped were extremely friendly and accommodating. Javier's tour guides, especially Jason were all easy to work worth and most speak English very well. The house is well equipped for cooking. We used the very nice gas grill for making meals. Tango Mar Resort also has a restaurant within walking distance. The hill is a bit steep but not an issue for most. Having laundry facilities on site was also a huge plus. I can't think of a better option for a vacation. By far the nicest place we've ever rented on VRBO. Thanks Javier and Daniel. It was indeed a pleasure.

Stunning view, wonderful area.
This property is beautiful & a unique experience. A bit like camping as far as the living room & kitchen being open to the outdoors. So if you don't like critters, bugs or the elements, this might not be the place for you...but if you are open to new experiences & embracing nature, this can not be beat. The waves are super loud at times, we got to see whales jumping in the ocean while we drank our coffee on the patio. Beautiful & safe area to walk, hike & explore. Wonderful people & no one better than Javier. Anything you need, he's got your back. Super nice to have a spa & restaurant just a short walk away. Everything about this area & rental are wonderful...just know how open the house is to nature & be ready for Pura Vida!!

One of a kind experience!
Staying at the Tango Mar Beach House was truly a one of a kind experience. My family and I (husband and four kids) stayed in this beautiful home for eight days over Easter break, 2017. The best part was living outdoors! Or maybe it was whale watching in the early morning.... Or watching the monkeys frolic in the trees.... Or the unbelievable scenery, sunshine, and ocean view. It's hard to decide. No worries, the bedrooms are all inside and air-conditioned. The house itself was gorgeous, comfortable, and roomy enough for the six of us. The pool was amazing--it was much larger than it looked in the picture, and provided an amazing view of the ocean while we swam.
The house manager, Javier, was a wonderful help for a family who has never traveled to Costa Rica before. We were looking for some family-friendly adventure, and his company, Pura Vida Expeditions, provided it. He took us snorkeling, zip lining, ATV cruising, and bumming on the beach. His personality is so friendly that my daughters are wondering when he will come to the USA to visit us!
I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a fantastic visit to beautiful Costa Rica.

From the moment we stepped into this house our expectations were exceeded. The view is spectacular and the house is even better than the pictures! Where else doyou have howler monkeys instead of an alarm clock? Javier is awesome! He will answer all of your questions and take you anywhere you want to go and set up all of your adventures. Elvis took us on a wildlife tour with snorkeling and tortuga island for lunch that couldn't have been better. This really was a once in a lifetime trip!

My family (6 of us) stayed at Tango Mar beach house (Casa Mas Mananas) the first week of March and it was great! The open living space with the beautiful ocean view is stunning. To be able to see the ocean at all times and hear the waves is awesome. The infinity pool is kept very clean and is also the most serene spot to view the ocean. House manager Javier, is most helpful with anything you might need. He recommended the best restaurants as well as things to do during our stay. We couldn't have asked for a nicer person to handle our stay.
There are colorful birds and howler monkeys around the property to see. The walk down to the Tango Mar resort is a steep one, but do-able. They have a good breakfast buffet there in the mornings.
The house was clean, and all of the essentials were provided...linens, towels, beach towels, kitchen towels, soap for all bathrooms as well as kitchen dish soap, paper towels, etc.
I would definately recommend this property for a beautiful vacation spot.
