The house was beautiful, clean, and full of any type of amenity one could as for. As former residents of Durango, Cortez and Telluride, the central location was just exactly what we were looking for with access to the 3 towns ,the Narrow Gauge train, Mesa Verde and the 4 Corners area. I am still wanting to throw open the drapes each morning to gaze out at the Mesa Verde, and sit on the porch at sunset and enjoy the wonderful view of the Sleeping Ute.
The one thing my husband and I felt would be beneficial is a bar in the shower in the master bedroom. As seniors, we are most cognizant of fall dangers, and both felt the need of a bar, and possibly a mat, in the shower.
But we, our son and 2 grandsons had a fabulous time during our week in SW Colorado, and want to thank our hosts and VRBO very much for a welcoming, delightful place to stay!

PS...As an added, unexpected bonus, one early morning while enjoying coffee on the back patio, we were treated to a concert by the high school band, practicing across the arroyo. A magnificent view and music as well...who could ask for more?

House is in a scenic location. The neighborhood was quiet. Close to downtown. Only minor issue was the yard was not mowed which hid some dog poops. So we avoided the yard. House was well equipped.

Our family of Mom and Dad the 3 college aged adult children spent 2 nights at this home. Beautiful location with unobstructed view out the back of the house as shown in the photos. Interior of the home is large and beautiful (architectural digest type) with comfortable memory foam beds. Minutes from grocery, and 15 minutes to Mesa Verde entrance. Family rated this home a 10 on a scale of 5. Off the chart. Thanks for an excellent stay!!!

My husband and our two young adult daughters really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful Cortez, CO home. The home is gorgeous, immaculately clean, and has a fully furnished kitchen. It's convenient to the local WalMart and Safeway and was the perfect home base for us to explore Mesa Verde National Park. Communication with the owner was outstanding. Five stars!!!

Loved this house! While it was just my husband and I, this would be great for 2 couples or a family. Beautiful view of the mountains. Easy access to town and a short distance to Mesa Verde. Great communication with the host and easy check in. A simple problem on arrival (smoke alarm battery needed changing) was taken care of within 10 minutes. Great to have someone nearby if needed. Large kitchen with everything you need. I’m not a fan of the foam mattress beds, but everything else was super comfortable. Large shower with plenty of hot water. Full sized laundry. Nice neighborhood. If you stay here, eat at Thai Cortez. Excellent food and very friendly!

Very relaxing home with magnificent views of Mesa Verde and Ute Mountains. Experienced very low temperatures but the home is extremely well insulated so we remained quite cozy. All appliances functioned well and easy to understand.
Local restaurants, Once Upon A Sandwich, The Farm, and Columbine (Mancos), have made from scratch meals, soups, desserts. These were so tasty. Love the local quilt shop also.

We spent 2 nights here while visiting Mesa Verde National Park. The house is in a secluded cul-de-sac. It is very quiet and peaceful. Stores and restaurants are only minutes away. We enjoyed relaxing on the covered back patio. We watched deer and fox in the meadow below. The house was very cozy and inviting. We cooked several meals and found the kitchen to be very well stocked with everything we needed.

Very clean and spacious open concept home located in a new, quiet subdivision. Well decorated overall with a chef’s kitchen equipped with every convenience. The east side of the house is 80% windows with beautiful unobstructed views from the dining area, living room, patio and master bedroom. Sunrises, sunsets and star gazing are the best. Hope to stay again someday.

We traveled to Cortez to visit Mesa Verde NP and Canyon of the Ancients. This home in Cortez was a perfect place to return to after our adventures! Beautiful views of the mesa from the patio, beautiful sunsets and views from the front of the house. Appreciated that there was a clearly stated option to unplug or cover the 2 common area cameras. Beds were very comfortable, lots of space for everyone in our party of 5 adults, well equipped kitchen. Short drive to Main St and lots of options for restaurants/takeout/ groceries.

We stayed here with our kids and my mom after new years. The entire property was so clean, there were plenty of towels, and the kitchen was fully stocked. We cooked at home and had everything we needed. Pam responded to my questions within minutes (question about the trash). The views are incredible, we watched the sunrise from the kitchen table and the sunset from the front porch. I would definitely stay here again!
