About this cottage rental
Lake Front Rental, includes fully furnished, electricity, gas, washer/dryer, cable, water, and outdoor fire pit.
The cottage sleeps 6 and is conveniently located 7 miles from Highway 441 and 35 miles from Interstate 20; 20 minutes from Rock Eagle 4-H Camp, 20 minutes from Milledgeville; 15 minutes from the Lake Oconee Village; 30 minutes from Madison; 90 minutes to Augusta; and 90 minutes from Atlanta.
The cottage is situated on a 1.35-acre wooded lot in the Crooked Creek Cove area and is known for great fishing. The lot boosts 175 feet of water frontage on a point allowing for the 180 degree views of the lake. You will find a double-boat slip with large deck perfect for sunning and fishing. The dock has a retractable ladder. The community boat ramp is located in our cul-de-sac. The water’s depth at the end of the dock is 8-11 feet with the depth being 25+ feet in the middle of the cove. The cottage boasts a large living area consisting of a kitchen, dinette, and den. The fully stocked kitchen has a gas stove with stylish center island and a panoramic view of the lake. There is no need to bring any additional kitchen or bathroom supplies. We supply everything. Just bring your toothbrush and toothpaste. The master suite has a king-sized bed, master bath, and lake view. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a lake view as well. The third bedroom has two twin beds and a walk-in closet. The rear entrance includes a large area for storage, an extra refrigerator with icemaker, and a washer and dryer.
You can find comfortable touches throughout the cottage. A blender, blow dryer, and Keurig coffee maker with k-cups and other coffee fixings are supplied. You will also find spices, an ice cream churn, a complete bar set, plastic and foil wrap, and dish and laundry detergent. One of the most relaxing things to do when at the lake is to have your morning coffee on the front porch while taking in the 180-degree water view. We highly recommend it. There is something very relaxing about viewing water in a quiet setting while watching at the sunrise. Ducks, geese, and blue heron visit the dock frequently.
If after drinking your morning coffee you contemplate entertainment possibilities you will find many. Provided is a 55-inch Tru LED LCD HDTV. Dish Network Pay-Per-View movies are available for an additional charge. We have added a Blu-ray player with internet apps. Also provided is wireless, high-speed cable internet. Opportunities for sportsmen include fishing, boating, waterskiing, jet skiing, hiking, kayaking, and swimming. For golfers numerous golf courses are located in the area. For shoppers both Milledgeville and Madison hosts a wonderful, small-town antique shopping experience. The Lake Oconee Village area has many different shopping experiences from retail and clothing shops to spas. Two pet boarding and grooming facilities are available nearby. For art lovers and history buffs we have you covered. The Steffen Thomas Museum of Arts, the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center, and the Plaza Arts Center are a few jaunts to check-out. Milledgeville, Eatonton, and Madison are cities on Georgia’s Antebellum Trail, and the Uncle Remus Museum is located in Eatonton. We are in agreement with all the positive reviews. Lots of wild birds, take a hummingbird feeder, we attracted many per day. The rustic furniture is adequate. The kitchen has all the necessary basic items.
If you like watching water craft going up and down the lake front, you will have plenty of opportunity.

Mid-size, well maintained house, great location, well stocked with necessary amenities. Wifi worked well and necessary. Chipmunks or squirrels can be heard in the attic or walls. Overall, great and enjoyable stay!

It was all as described! Wonderful home and great dock for fishing. It was neat and clean when we arrived. This is our second time staying here for Spring Holidays with our handicap granddaughter and we decided this will continue to be our go to spot.

Nice place. Would stay again but needs more attention to cleaning the place before it is rented if it has been empty for a while. I would come back.

This lake home provided us with a very comfortable and cozy stay even on a rainy weekend in Nov. We loved the lake view from the covered deck while enjoying our morning coffee. We will definitely rent again. Many thanks to the host for making this beautiful property available!

All was great as always however, as we get older the sofas are not made for the older people.

I would give this place 5 Stars if …. if it was cleaned out of spiders 1 bit my wife the first night so whoever is responsible for the cleanup is not doing a very good job so that’s 1 star. Now For THE LOVE OF GOD please buy a NEW mattress for the master bedroom you can actually see the lumps in the bed when you make it up I checked the reviews after I got there so I can only think that this mattress was from day 1. So that’s 2 stars.
So would we rent again…..yes if these items were taken care of in a heartbeat. If you want to fish catfish and crappie from the dock this is a great location.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The property was as seen in the pictures. We had everything we needed accept a strainer for the spaghetti. The area was quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed fishing and for some
It was the first time. We actually caught some fish, but we threw them back. The house was very close to the water and we were able to enjoy it from any part of the house. The landlord was very responsive, which was very helpful. We plan to go back again and bring our husbands. We got just what we needed out of our stay. Thanks for making this trip a memorable one.

We enjoyed our visit alot. We took our boat and fished and caught some also. Loved the porch. Our main problem was the couches, you just sink down and they were hard to get out of, especially for older people and the bed in the master is very lumpy.
2.0 / 10.0
DIRTY, carpet filthy, rug unvacuumed, Both Sofas sit down, and go almost to floor, Mattress in master bedroom hard an lumpy (worn out), Both deadbolts on 2 sets of double doors would not lock, Both vacuum cleaners would pick up dust BUT not debris, or lint, the front porch chairs needs replacing, but was the only place I really injoyed beautiful yards and GREAT view of lake, house is cute with great potential just needs the above and a deep cleaning, Owner said he had no complaints before, BUT that’s strange 2 other ladies with me will certainly agree with the above!!!!!!!!!!!!

The property was in a beautiful location didn't want to leave. The house was a great size but there were some cleaning issues that needs to be done. Contact was great and response time was excellent. Would like 2 suggest that directions to leave trash to be provided. Will rent again and tell others.

stay was good
I really like the home. We had a good time and spent quality time with family. However, the trash place was not open the times we went by and found one open on Hwy 129 once near other family. We had to bag up the trash and leave it in and beside the can outside.

Sons 21st birthday
Our son is in the Army and stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia. My son is my fishing buddy, and has been since he was able to hold a fishing rod in his hands. So, he left for Basic Training in May, and then went straight to his duty station at Fort Stewart. Needless to say, we both haven’t fished for a while. He told us he was. It granted a pass to come home for his bday, so we found the closest lake to him and met him at Lake Sinclair to celebrate his bday.
This was the perfect house and great for fishing and family time with our soldier.
Beds are comfortable
Nice kitchen and appliances
Great water pressure in showers
Den/family room is very nice
Comfy furniture
2 refrigerators
WiFi was great
Nice gas grill
Great covered boat dock
Power at boat dock to recharge batteries
The neighbor Jimmy was helpful and even took us on his golf cart to show us the boat launch
Ample parking for truck and boat
Easy check in
Overall our experience was GREAT! If we come back, we would definitely book again if available.

Lake house Vacation
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and had everything you need, just bring your food and personal items! Great neighbors-very friendly and helpful. Exactly what we needed. We will definitely come back!

The house was clean, grass was cut and an easy walk to the lake.
We had a great time. My only complaint would be spraying for mosquitoes and the trash situation. The mosquitoes were really bad. I did not know about taking the trash to another location and had a car so we couldn’t take it off for you. The AC was rocking and felt amazing. Appliances were nice. The house was very clean. Great amount of bath towels!!! Lots of seating on the porch. It was a nice place and have already recommended it to several people that I know.

Good with no problem.
