We loved our week at Chateau Soleil! The accommodations were just as advertised and there wasnt one thing we were lacking in the kitchen. Our family of 21 (ages 2 months to 81 years) loved this house, the location to the beach, and the close walk to the pool. Kim and Hussein were so responsive when an electrical storn knocked oyt the fuses to the elevator...they had a repairman there in just a few hours. It is a delightful house for a relaxing vacation!

This was a great house with the best stocked kitchen ever! We had easy access to the beach.

Our HS baseball team enjoyed this property and made memories to last a lifetime. Location was ideal for the team to enjoy the beach, volleyball, shade, miscellaneous rentals and the nature of the state park and walking the coast was great.

The house was very nice, the host and hostess, Hossein and Kim were very congenial and helpful. We had a couple of incidents which needed their attention and they were very concerned and helpful and the problems were immediately taken care of. I love the Ft. Morgan area, but I personally do not care for the Dunes location and the location of this house in that complex because public access to the beach runs beside the house and between the deck and the beach so there is a constant flow of people beside and in front of you if you sit on the lower deck. Also because of public access, there is no private beach for this house. The railing on the lower deck is so high you really can’t get a good view of the beach. The house is very nice and most liberally stocked. Great parking spaces.

This has been our second family reunion at this house. The property is large enough for all 20+ of us to be comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and large. The house is near the beach. The elevator lets the grandmother and pregnant mom move easily from floor to floor. The owners are very friendly and take care of concerns immediately.

This home could not have been more perfect for our 27 family members! It was incredible how the space worked for our group and we never felt on top of each other. This home was supplied with everything you could need including (3) full-size fridges. The beach access was 2nd to none! I had multiple questions throughout the week and the owners were incredibly kind and responsive. This was the first time vacationing with my extended family and memories were made to last a lifetime! So grateful for our week away!

This house was amazing from the decorations to the amenities. It is the most equipped/furnished house we have ever rented. The hosts were amazing. Kim and Hossein responded quickly to any questions. House was large enough to accommodate our large family and beach access was great. Would recommend this rental to anyone that needed a large house with a lot of privacy.
We look forward to renting here again.

My wife and I and our 23 children and grandchildren rented this property from July 30 through August 6. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and my wife’s 73rd birthday. We arrived Saturday evening July 30 and the only two ways into the house were the elevator room and the steps leading up to the second floor. We started to go through the elevator room which was kind of dingy and found out you have two holes both elevator doors for the elevator to operate. It is pitch black inside the elevator. The lights did not work. We called the owner and was told to replace the lightbulbs. We replaced them three times and still We could not get them to work. I called the owners again and they said they would have somebody come out to fix it. We never saw anyone for the whole week‘ needless to say we hardly used the elevator and it was a five story house. Everyone was too afraid to ride in it because it was completely dark and scary. Our only other way was the steps that lead up to the second floor and the bottom two planks were rotted and made it difficult to go up and down. We walked out onto the Balconies on the second floor and the third floor and found the wood so soft we thought we would fall through the floors. Our bedroom door onto the deck was stuck and you had to push with all your might to open it. I really thought the window in the door was going to break. We did not use it much and it looked out to the ocean. The pool chains on the fan overlooking our bed were filthy. They look like they had never been clean. The house was infested with ants especially in the kitchen pantry. I saw spiders in the elevator room. The icemaker in the kitchen did not work because it said the filter need to be replaced and so we had no Weiss. These are things I witnessed myself and never said anything to the family except when they saw ants in the food in the kitchen and the pantry. I never told my wife anything for fear she would want to pack up and go home. The last straw was when we were leaving on the last day Saturday morning August 6. While caring out our luggage hi steps on the Rod and plank that has split in half and sprained my knee. It was a 50 year anniversary to remember. I saw on Zillow that the house is up for sale. Beautiful home
My favorite colors are blue and yellow and this home was decorated beautifully with them. So much more than bare bone necessities. We have never had such a well-stocked kitchen in our 32 years of family vacation. We especially liked walking to the end of the peninsula Where Ft. Morgan and the ferry were. It's about 2-3 miles and beautiful with few houses.
There were issues with plumbing and air conditioning but they
were taken care of as well as can be expected and Kim was very gracious and prompt in spite of being out of the country on a mission trip.

The Yellow House
The house was large enough for everyone to be comfortable. The family areas and kitchen were large enough to assemble our large family for food, games, conversation etc! The beach was so close. The house was very clean and organized, and the owner obviously added lots of amenities to make us feel at home. The kitchen was super supplied to meet our needs. The house was nicely decorated ( not sterile as some rentals ) making us feel welcome.
The elevator was a perfect solution to getting grandma and pregnant mom up the stairs.
Loved the house.

PERFECT home for large groups
We loved everything about this home!! From the private, guarded, gated community being off of the main drag, to the best proximity to the beach boardwalk, to the elevator making moving in bags, groceries,….and older family members a breeze, to the HUGE storage at the base of the home, to the huge parking area (and adjacent “overflow” parking area), to the TWO full kitchens, to the comfortable and spacious bedrooms, to the abundance of bathrooms which ensured that everyone had plenty of privacy and made getting a large group cleaned up for dinner no problem at all,…..I could go on and on!! I would DEFINITELY recommend this home!

Yellow House
This was our 2nd stay at this house. The house has great memories for us. It has plenty of room for you to escape to some quiet, plenty of room for kids and adults. The beach is quiet and non commercial, which is exactly what we wanted. Overall…. Fantastic!

Great house for large families
We had such a good time here. We had our whole family present; parents, kids, grandkids, great grandkids. Every room was full but it didn't seem crowded. Everyone had their own space and, more importantly, their own bathrooms! The house was beautiful and comfortable and we felt completely at home.
Kim and Hossein were great to deal with. Quick to respond and very nice to talk to. We will definitely be looking at this place again when we come back.

Wonderful place for a Family Reunion
The house was perfect for our family reunion. It had everything we needed and my family said they want to stay at the same place again next year. Loved being next to the beach. Took the ferry from Dauphin Island and that was fun too. There was nothing that we were lacking in the house.

Our family reunion was held here. It was an awesome getaway place with fun for all! The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed to prepare food for 27 people. Great memories were made here. Nice to have room to be together and to spread out. We enjoyed table games, football watching, and beach strolls.

Perfect house for a large family - plenty of parking spaces. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the refrigerator/freezer space; large pantry for storage. Kitchen was fabulous and more than adequately equipped. Access to beach was great. The elevator saved our lives - loading and unloading our stuff.

Just what we needed
Chateau Soleil was very well furnished and equipped, with plenty of room for our extended family, right on the beach. Storm damage repairs were nearly complete, but posed no problems for us. Dealing with the owner was a pleasure.

Family Fun
We gathered for a family reunion over Thanksgiving. Very impressed with the property and the owners. They answered our questions and were most helpful before and during our stay...even over a holiday weekend. Kitchens are WELL stocked! Lots of sand toys and fun beach toys to play with. We had 28 adults and children staying there and everyone had a blast. Thanks so much!!

General Review
Nice location, was great having the elevator for our family members in wheelchairs.
Home needs several repairs.
Did not appreciate receiving all the rules and $5k fine per dead sea turtle found on the beach if you have your outside lights on or mini blinds open to let light out. This should be identified up front not after $10k payment for a week’s rental. This created pressure for our group to “shutdown” everything after dark everyday. Over all this home is overpriced for what you get.

Perfect Family Vacation With Friends
We had a fantastic time at this property. The location is great, tons of space inside the house. It’s a bit more secluded than other parts of Gulf Shores, which meant the beach was not as busy. The property was clean and extremely well stocked. We will definitely be back.

5th time staying in our home away from home
This is the 5th year we have stayed at this beach house and we consider it our home away from home. We have 8 couples that come for golf and beach time and this is the perfect house for us. The owners are so easy to deal with and the communication is easy if we ever need anything. We have already booked for next year! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us every year!!
