Enchanting cabin nestled in the woods with a lively atmosphere and woods to explore.
With the lake and boat ramp just two blocks away, and many amenities this is a place fit for anyone!
Pets welcome, Pet Fee must be paid at time of booking.
Official horse shoe pit installed 2019.
Fishermen are welcome! Outside electrical to charge those trolling motor batteries! Relax in the hot tub on the back deck. Bring the wife, kids, and pets! Very comfortable size and surroundings. Beautiful inside and out, and it is very relaxing to sit on the porch and occasionally you may see a deer next door at the deer feeder.

Driving into the neighborhood, the area across the highway isn't well kept and may be a bit off-putting; the cabin's neighborhood is pretty well kept, with a few outliers, and we had no safety issues. The cabin is well kept, tastefully-Texaned, and very comfortable. We grilled a few times (multiple choices for grills), but the weather was quite hot during our stay to thoroughly enjoy the decked outdoor area. Don't forget to pack your insect repellent. Overall, really enjoyed the cabin and would stay again.

Property was lovely. It was quiet and secluded. The only thing I didn’t like was that there are no TVs in the bedrooms. Everything else was great. Hot tub and outdoor area was awesome.

My family stayed for my birthday weekend and we all enjoyed the property. My kids favorite was the hot tub and our dog spent hours exploring the backyard. Great stargazing and multiple options for seating outside. The bedsheets were so soft I am going to get some for my house. We would book again.

This was our second time staying, and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. They built out the back patio around the hot tub creating more leisure space. It was the perfect getaway to decompress with my spouse before the holiday season. Will be back for a 3rd time.

What was most appreciated was that there were three bedrooms for me and my two adult sons. The kitchen was fully furnished. The stove oven and garbage disposal were out of order but the owners said that they would see to them being fixed and we weren't inconvenienced by the problems. We enjoyed the decorations throughout the cabin and liked the setting in among trees. It was near Livingston for us to have a couple meals there and visit the shops and crafts at Pedigo Park.

This cabin is nestled in the pine trees of East Texas. It is so cute, the beds are very comfortable, and the finishes are all updated or new. There is a jacuzzi tub inside and a private back yard with a hot tub. This is the perfect little getaway for a small group/family or couple just looking to disconnect and unwind. We will definitely be back and I'm sharing with my friends too.

We absolutely loved this place. There was a lot to offer visitors and was clean. They truly thought of everything. The only downside is that it is a diamond in a rough area. The surrounding properties are not as well maintained and the surrounding areas are very low income properties. I wanted to take a stroll and enjoy the country scenery with my dog, and was advised against it from a neighbor. However, I love this rental and all it had to offer.

Better than expected

We arrived early afternoon and when we drove up we didn't know what to expect. When we went inside we were absolutely amazed how cozy and clean, and up to date this cabin is. It is absolutely lovely. Hot tub was clean and very relaxing. For the fishermen....the cleaning table was very handy. One boat ramp is within 2 blocks and the one we used is about 15 minutes away. We were very satisfied with our stay and are looking forward to going back when it cools off some. If you want a quiet get away without neighbors sitting on top of you and a place to relax and kick back, give them a call and make it happen.

I liked the property and we enjoyed our visit. This my 1st experience with Vrbo so I may not be familiar with cleaning fees vs checkout instructions from property owners. My upset was paying a substantial cleaning fee and then being asked to strip bedding, wipe down kitchen counters. As a guest on vacation- I am used to just packing up and leaving. In my opinion the cleaning fees should cover all cleaning. Not sure if I will Vrbo again due to costs.

We loved our stay very much. The home was super cute in all Texas decor. Very homey! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook up a great meal. You have grilling choices!! Pellet, charcoal, or gas! And the hot tub was perfect! Tammy and David are excellent hosts! There communication with us throughout the experience was a 10+! We wanted a place to have a quiet weekend and we found it. This little cabin is in a wonderful location near the lake and all of its amenities. The owners helped us find good places to eat and things to do. The cabin itself was beautifully done, extremely clean and very comfortable.

We didn't do much research on what to do in Livingston, but we do not regret one second of this get-a-way! We enjoyed our relaxing stay at this cute little spot. Perfect for our family of 5. Our girls loved the hot tub, and playing outdoors. It's minutes away from the State Park, and a small town to get what you need. We fished, went kayaking, made smores and we paid for the girls to have horse back riding lessons at a local ranch. Everything about this stay was everything we needed to get away from reality and enjoy each other as a family. Definitely recommend. 👌 Now we love Livingston and plan to come back more prepared for swimming, trails and camping. 🤍🖤 Thanks for our wonderful experience in your beautiful home.

Cabin was decorated beautifully! We rented to cabin for our thanksgiving and was not disappointed. It was so comfortable and inviting , the fire pit outside was a great place to sit at night and enjoy time with family. The hot tub was amazing when the kids went to bed ! Booking, communication, ease of access were all very good. House is not in a great spot, but was a very nice little cabin. My 12yr old and his 12yr old friend roasted marshmallows, and apparently hit 2 or 3 of the multitude of pine trees in the area around the firepit with sticks. The owner filed a damage charge with VRBO and hit my card for $400. Trees are not permanently damaged. And VRBO should be ashamed for letting this happen without looking into it (before I filed a complaint). I have filed a chargeback with my bank and have filed a dispute with VRBO for this ridiculous charge. VRBO said they would get a response by email in about 48hrs. Again, these trees are not cut down, not broke in half, not painted... just some marks from 12yr olds hitting them with sticks. Although it is not the owners fault they didn't know I would not see an email from them for several days, they had my phone number - they should have spoke to me - NOT take $400 from my bank account for kids putting marks on 3 pine trees.

This place is just as advertised. Tammy and David had excellent communication and pictures are accurate! We were not aware of the house alarm and were not fast enough to disarm before it went off. However, David was prompt to reply to our text and disarmed quickly. Internet and cell coverage is spotty but hopefully you're getaway won't require this as was with us. I will definitely stay there again!!

Tammy's place is even better than the photos! It was the perfect little weekend getaway spot. Very close to the lake which was breathtaking and a short drive to restaurants and coffee shops. It was very quiet and Tammy made sure we had everything we needed. Communication and check-in was also very easy. Would highly recommend staying here.

Great cabin for a family getaway

The cabin was clean, comfortable & far away enough from the rest of the world to help us relax. We loved swinging on the front porch, sitting in the hot tub & playing horseshoes. The cabin was well stocked with towels, cookware & dishes. Lake Livingston State Park is close by & there is access to a private boat ramp. Owners were helpful & just a text away if needed. A wonderful way to spend a long weekend!
