Blessings is a single level 4BR/4BA weekly rental beach cottage that rents on a Sunday to Sunday rental schedule. When requesting a reservation, please only request Sunday to Sunday bookings as this is how the the maid and bath towels/bed linen services are arranged.
Blessings beach house is a completely renovated oceanfront vacation home situated right on the Atlantic Ocean in beautiful Holden Beach, NC. Inside you'll find a spacious living area with updated and tasteful decorations throughout. Our beach house provides clean and comfortable accommodations with new state of the art appliances, furniture, and fixtures! Our vacation home is 4 bedroom / 4 bathroom, every room has its own bathroom! We have three bedrooms, each with their private own full bathroom. The fourth bedroom is ideal for children as it is furnished with oversized bunk beds (the top bunk is a twin sized bed and the bottom bunk is a double bed). There is a fourth full bathroom located in the hallway. All bedrooms have a streaming television in the room.
The living room and kitchen provide an awesome oceanfront view of the Atlantic ocean! The renovated gourmet kitchen is equipped with state of the art appliances and is perfect for preparing large family dinners and seafood feasts! The living room is fully equipped with a 65' flat screen TV, HD digital cable, a DVD player, & family games!
A unique advantage of our beach home is that it is located closer to the ocean than the surrounding homes, providing excellent views and maximum privacy from neighboring homes. When you are relaxing on the backporch, neighboring homes/porches will be out of view. We have a spacious wrap-around porch overlooking the ocean with plenty of deck furniture. Our porch leads out to a private boardwalk to the beach. Outside you will also find a hot/cold outdoor shower, hammock, grill, and plenty of parking underneath the house.
Holden Beach is part of a barrier island chain located along the southeastern coast of NC. With its pristine and relaxing white sand beaches, Holden Beach is one of the best rated, least crowded, and most beautiful family beaches found anywhere. Holden Beach is still a well-kept secret, perhaps not for long though. National Geographic Smart Traveler magazine recently ranked Holden Beach among it's top 10 'Best Family Beaches'. There is plenty to do in Holden Beach! Concrete sidewalks which line Ocean Boulevard make visitors to Holden Beach feel safe while strolling, jogging, or biking up and down the main street. There are plenty of local restaurants, seafood markets, putt-putt, waterslides, bumper boats, go-karts, and shopping, all within a 2 mile radius. The nearby jet ski rentals are fun and located on the intercostal waterway. H.B. also has some of the best fishing and boating on the East coast. For boaters, there are two nearby marinas, offering easy access to the intercoastal waterway.
For golfers, there are 37 golf courses in Brunswick County, between ten to thirty minutes away.

We had a fantastic stay at Blessings house in Holden Beach. Part of the house had just been through renovations and all the additions were beautiful. The house was extremely clean up on arrival, a/c worked perfectly, kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for almost all meals at the house. The outside composite deck was nice and spacious, no splinters! We also enjoyed the downstairs patio with the hammock and wooden table for an additional hang out area for the kids for games of Uno.
We had 4 adults and 4 young children ages 2-4 & the purpose of this visit was to stay put and take advantage of being right on the beach. You cannot beat the location when it comes to setting up your tent, chairs, etc every morning while rangling toddlers.
One thing to note is if you do come with small kids make sure you always have eyes on them when they're on the deck. There is a nice long bench for seating that could be a fall if they're standing and looking over so we made that a house rule when we got there (no standing on the bench). The road is not terribly far from the bottom car port/deck area so be aware of where the kids are (we had 2 year olds that were curious about everything so I'm talking younger ages).
I had clear communication with the owner via text and that was a relief. We did not have any big issues with the house & I was able to text him some questions with a fast response.
This house was awesome. Highly recommend! We are considering a repeat stay for 2025.

Loved the house, inside and out!! Also loved the beach. My only complaint was the linen company shorted us on towels and wash cloths, and then the washer in the house decided to quit working when we checked in. Just an inconvenience we weren't expecting, but taught me to always take my own wash cloths when staying in a vacation home. Otherwise, everything else was great!

Love the ocean, great views, very good kitchen, decent house. Typical beach house issues: uneven floor, cracked stove top, one shower sliding glass door lacks bottom metal stripping and unconnected to track. Cleaning service may have rushed: food particles under ottoman, dryer filter very dirty.

Well appointed home right on the ocean front in Holden Beach. Everything you need for a great week is already there. Having three full baths is a huge benefit when traveling with children. Great kitchen with a stove facing the ocean so you can enjoy making breakfast while looking at the water. If you’re considering Blessings, you will not be disappointed.

This was just what we needed to recharge. Not a big or “busy” island. The home we had was just that, a home. Updated, has loads of cooking supplies. Direct beach access. Overall, the water was gentle. Hidden area below deck with grill and hammock and a seating area. Close enough to Myrtle Beach or Wilmington IF you need something to do. Owners are friendly and easy to work with. We would gladly stay again,

First time to Holden on our annual vacation with our two adult children and we could not have asked for a better place to stay. Everything was as described, very clean, awesome decorations, wonderful ocean view and easy walk to the waters edge, and everything we needed right there on site, from kitchen to beach chairs and grill. The house is very clean. Furniture new and comfortable. Awesome layout. My wife cooked dinner every night and was impressed with all of the supplies pots/pans and utensils. She also loved being able to cook on the island stove while looking out at the ocean. Richard very responsive to texts. House exactly as described and we would definitely stay again!

Best house we have rented through this site. Bedrooms and bathrooms were good size and comfortable. Design of house is great for 5-6 people with fantastic site lines of the beach/ocean from kitchen, dining area, and living area. Kitchen is well appointed with everything one would need. Only opportunity for improvement is a good, sharp filet knife, so if you bring that then you will be golden.

We always look forward to coming to Holden Beach and stay at the Blessings house. It is always warm and inviting and Richard does a great job in keeping it renovated and maintained. It feels like our second home when we come and can immediately relax and enjoy the beautiful view and the wonderful ocean. Great place!

We are always impressed with Blessings! Richard is so easy to work with and the house is always clean and well taken care of! They are constantly making improvements and taking care of the upkeep which always makes us feel safe and good about bringing our kids! We love it and cannot wait to go back next year!

We are return guests and had another lovely week with our family of 4 at this beachfront cottage. It is right on the ocean with a beautifully redone deck overlooking the waves. We lucked out with great weather and enjoyed runs on the beach, dolphin sightings and sunset tidal pools. We’ll definitely be back!

Super clean, and owner is very responsive. As with other VRBO properties, the platform fees, cleaning (very fair for this property) and taxes add another 26% to the costs, so I’d like VRBO to be more transparent when listing nightly rates.

My daughter and I spent a week at Blessings to celebrate her upcoming 60th birthday. This home has everything we could have wanted. Every day was beautiful and we slept in comfortable beds at night. Beautifully equipped kitchen. Almost the most important thing to us was cleanliness and Blessings totally delivered on this wish. Already talking about next year!

This is the second year in a row we stayed at this same home on Holden Beach. It's such a cozy and inviting place as well as perfectly located for us, right on the beach and not too far up Ocean Blvd. I biked to OB Coffee and back every day, no sweat. With 4 daughters, having 3 full baths is an absolute plus. We also love the fact that their deck is composite and practically brand new, makes going barefoot worryfree.

Reservations and welcome packet prior to our stay arrived in advance. All instructions for entry and home enjoyment were crystal clear, and also included helpful info about the area (restaurants, rentals, etc). Host was prompt and friendly regarding a couple of extra questions. Arrival was easy (Holden beach is simple!), and walking through the door was truly delivery of a “Blessing”! The home far exceeds photos and description. Everything was neat as a pin. Home quality was exceptional from granite countertops and kitchen appliances to the updated bathrooms and showers. 3 baths were greatly enjoyed, and the hot shower and privacy stall on the first (open) level was ideal for that first shower straight off the beach (chilly and sandy kids especially). The deck and porches offer some privacy because the home sits so far forward (SO easy to walk out!) and there’s a ton of room for parking (covered loading/unloading in the rain/heat) with ample room to use the charcoal grill in the driveway. Beach chairs were in fantastic shape. Brand new synthetic decking and railings were easy on feet and hands. Beds were super comfortable and fans were new (remotes!). Smart TV in LR let us use all our own subscription logins and wireless was fast. We had an AMAZING trip to this 3br home- rare to find in this size and price point right on the first beach row of homes. Will definitely be back!!! Thank you Richard.

All around positive visit! Granny-approved for sure! Decorated so cute and very clean. The owner was super responsive and accommodating. Our daughter’s family (with 2 children) came for part of the week. Granddaughter volunteered, “This is my favorite beach house!” For a six year old, the bunk beds were such a bonus.
The views of the ocean were fantastic both inside the house and outside on the covered porch and newer deck. The kitchen was large, well designed and equipped with all the necessities. Having 3 bathrooms was unexpected for a 3 bedroom cottage. There was even a tub which the grandchildren enjoyed. Certainly it was a “Calgon-take me away” vacation Even with Tropical Storm Nicole making a brief appearance!

We booked Blessings for a family trip and really enjoyed our stay. Richard provided plenty of information well in advance of our week’s stay, and promptly answered any questions I had. We appreciated how clean the house was and the comfy furniture. The kitchen was well stocked, even including some common spices-a nice touch. Thanks for everything; we hope to stay at Blessings again soon!

This was our third year here. A great place to stay, just steps from the beach. The new composite decking made it that much nicer, with no worries about splinters. The owner is very responsive and open to suggestions. The only small complaint I would have is that the dryer randomly turns on and off during the cycle and it takes a really long time for clothes to dry. No luck figuring out why after 3 years.

We had a wonderful time at the house! It was exactly as described and was just perfect for what we needed. The kitchen was so well stocked, which was perfect for us as we like to do most of our own meals at our house when we vacation. We had everything we needed. The views were amazing from the house which made the vacation so relaxing to enjoy the views even when we were indoors. The outdoor shower and deck were so wonderful and the deck especially was superb to not have to worry about splinters in our kids’ feet. The bathrooms were spacious and the bedrooms were so comfortable. They seemed to have thought of everything, including light-blocking curtains in all of the bedrooms for better sleep. You won’t be disappointed staying here!

A wonderful respite at a family friendly beach
The booking and checkin process could not have been smoother. Great communication with the owner before we got there and during our stay. The property itself was outstanding and the perfect size for our family. Our kids loved the fact that it was right on the ocean and they saw the dolphins jumping out of the water a few times during our stay. We loved that Holden Beach itself was so quiet, but anything we wanted to do was either a short drive across the bridge or there were other options a little further away.

We hadn’t been to Holden Beach for 6 years and this was the perfect house and location. So close to the beach and spectacular views! Two couples joined us midweek and the layout was very comfortable-especially the 3 bathrooms. Richard responded to questions quickly and very thorough with with expectations of guests. It was a little chilly and very windy when we first arrived and the deck was the perfect place to hang out. Would definitely recommend!
