My two small dogs and I stayed in this cabin for 28 days during the summer. We love the cabin and how close it is to everything. Peggy was very responsive. One evening I asked for a broom and the next morning I had a broom at the front door.

We stayed at this property in the summer and it was a great little cabin for my wife, 6 yo daughter and me. "Cozy" would be how realtors would describe it. We honestly had a great time but be aware the VRBO listing is a bit misleading. When renting this place, you get "the front unit" which is about 2.5 feet from a large town parking lot full of RVs, cars, and boat trailers. The photos are a bit misleading as it shows a mix of both the front and back units. For example, the fire pit is only for the back unit and there's no privacy on the front porch with the parking lot right there (check Google Street view to know what you're getting).
We found the cabin nice, walkable to everything including the beach, and had a great time. I just felt a little misled by the photos, and eating dinner on the front porch was like sitting in a Walmart parking lot.
I'd recommend this place but just be aware of what you're paying for and the owner should remove all the photos for the back unit. Cheers!

GREAT STAY!!
Fantastic location!! We should have looked closer - no TV or wifi (TV just for DVDs) but it was great to go off grid and walk to everything we wanted! It’s so close to the shops and restaurants and marina but so quiet and quaint! Highly recommend Sagebrush, The Waterfront, Rapids Restaurant, North Inlet Trail, and Adams Falls.

Weekend Getaway
Cozy cabin conveniently located in the heart of the town. Didn't need our car the whole time we were there. The bed and cabin temperature was very comfortable. Unlikely other small cabins, the shower was a good size with plenty of hot water. The cabin was very clean. There was plenty of outdoor space on the property, but it wasn't maintained like the cabin and we had nowhere to play the corn hole game we brought because the property was overtaken by weeds. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay at the cabin again.

TV did not work, working on street in front of cabin from 7 in morning until 7:30 at night and loud.

Perfect Cozy Cabin
This was a perfect getaway to my favorite place and this little cabin was just right. Very clean, exactly what you need, right in town, a very friendly host and was easy to communicate with if we needed anything.

We loved our stay at this cabin, the town is great, it has tons of stuff to do, a short drive to an entrance to the National park, the lake is clear and beautiful, nice shops, good food, very relaxing and pet friendly, bought our 2 small dogs and they had a great time to, will be booking this cabin again

Great Location
Great stay in Grand Lake. We have stayed at this property twice with our two young daughters and the location is awesome. You are one street away from Main Street and have access to all the restaurants, lake and playground for the kids. In addition, Peggy is responsive and makes the check in process super simple and is available for any questions. Highly recommend.

loved it
The construction definitely was the headliner, albeit, once the cabin stopped vibrating, things were definitely better. It's a great location, clean, tidy, updated furnishings and we enjoyed our time away. Thank you for allowing us to bring our pets.

Our family experience
Great place to stay and unplug from the hustle and bustle. It was tight but we made due with two kids and dogs. Used a kennel and brought a cot for the youngest. Sleeping time it was tight but we made it work. The only down side is no barbecue grill outside and your view is the back of Grand Lake town and a big dusty road and dirt lot with power lines. But for convenience and close proximity it’s well worth booking. Very cozy and perfect for a couple.

Convenient Location!
Family of 4 plus 1 dog had a great time in Grand Lake. This cabin is in a great location (parking gets a little tough but manageable) and bonus that a moose enjoys the wild flowers on the property. We will definitely return.

sweet mountain cabin
My kids and I enjoyed our stay in this snug cabin. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The only thing missing for me was soap for the shower, which I've come to expect in even modest rentals.
The cabin is conveniently located steps from the main street in town and very close to to the swimming beach and boat rental at the lake, but the immediate environs are not beautiful--the deck looks onto a large parking lot and the backs of stores. This was not a problem for us, as we spent most of our time in the park or at the lake. Still, very close to nature! I saw a fox walk in front of the cabin two of the mornings we were there.

Grand Lake Tiny House/Cabin
Pros of the cabin:
Location is great. Very close to the main street in town. The interior was clean.
Cons of the cabin:
Very overpriced IMO. The cabin is VERY small. It is confusing as you drive up as there are two cabins with the same address. The one we stayed in was in the back. So small it reminded me of a playhouse I had as a child. The yard was completely overrun with weeds, the outdoor deck step is broken, the sofa bed is quite ragged and the shower door does not close all of the way. There is also no trash on site. You have to bring your trash to a "pay as you dump" site on the other side of town. You also have to buy a special bag at a local market before doing so. The owner could at least have provide the special bags for the amount we paid to stay two nights.
Please note there is no wifi. I missed this as I was booking.
I don't like to leave poor reviews... but I think it is important to share honest opinions. I understand that some of the charm of Grand Lake is how rustic the area is.... but basic upkeep and attention to details can go a long way.

Nice location!
Perfect for two people looking for a home base in a convenient walking distance to town. Everything was comfortable and well supplied.

Nice stay
The surrounding looked kind of run down, gravel street , pot holes, but I suppose this is the way it is in a remote mountain town . People just return to sleep and hit the trail early in the morning. If you're not this type of vacationer, like my kids, then Estes Park is probably where you'd want to stay.

Cute cabin for two!
My husband and I had a fabulous stay in Grand Lake. Our cabin was perfect for the two of us. We really appreciated that the property manager checked in with us during our stay to make sure all was fine. The location was just perfect as we were close to the town and lake and we were able to view the 4th of July fireworks afrom the front deck.

Cozy, convenient cottage for two
Nice cozy little cottage. Very clean and comfortable for two. Convenient to walk anywhere in downtown Grand Lake. Shower needs a few repairs and the outdoor areas could use some clean-up/spruce up. We enjoyed our stay and hikes in the area.

Adorable and great location!
A tiny, adorable little cabin. It really is probably best for just a couple. It is cozy and clean. The location couldn’t be better. One block from the Main Street which was great to visit. It was close to the Park so we got to have some great days to explore. There was an issue with the shower while we were there and it was addressed promptly and professionally. There were some ants in the kitchen, but nothing out of control. Overall, it was a wonderful visit to beautiful Grand Lake!

It fit our needs beautifully. Thank you.

Great place by the beach and marina
Overall great experience and location. Well furnished rooms. Comfortable bed.
Only reason I marked cleanliness at a 4 was it seemed like the housekeeper had left previous guests linens balled up and their towels on the floor in the bathroom. However otherwise the place was very clean.

Perfect Location
We stayed in this cabin over a long weekend because we were vendors in a local craft fair. It was an excellent location just off the Main Street. As noted in the listing, this is a small property better suited for two with a comfy bed in a small bedroom. We had a third person who stayed on the pullout couch bed which filled the main room almost completely. We did fine with 3 people, but recommend using it for 2. We’d stay there again. Thanks Peggy!

Tiny Cabin with Access Galore
Located just off Main Street, this tiny cabin was a great launching point each day. Each day started with walking to one of the three coffee shops and heading to the water to enjoy the peaceful morning.

Clean and tidy, quiet spot near town activities.
Good communication, seamless check-in, and everything as expected. We loved the cabin and appreciated that it had exactly what we needed. It is small, but had plenty of room inside and out for us to feel comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils. We loved being able to park the car and walk to many of the places we wanted to go. Though there was a festival in town during part of our stay, we found the cabin peaceful and quiet when we were there. The notebook the owner provided was helpful as we made plans for each day. We loved our stay!

A great little place in Grand Lake
This little cabin is thoughtfully provisioned, immaculately clean with all the amenities you could ask for, all at a price that beats Grand Lake Lodge! It's small, but is perfect for a couple. It is located one block from the main drag and all the in-town shopping and restaurants. It is only two blocks from the beach on Shadow Mtn Lake. It is furnished with cozy furniture and was just perfect for our five night stay. We highly recommend this property to anyone ... we'll certainly be back!

Perfect Getaway Cabin
Cabin was perfect for my husband our 2 dogs and I. So close to town and the lake. Comfy bed. I'm not sure if the amenities mention it but there is a TV that plays dvds so be sure to bring your favorite movie! Perfect relaxation getaway😁

Comfortable little cabin in the heart of Grand Lake!
We had a great weekend getaway, enjoying the town of Grand Lake from this nice little cabin! It's just a block off the main street, with the wooden boardwalks, fun shops, good restaurants, and great ice cream. We enjoyed our time in town and at the lake, but look forward to returning and doing some of the great hikes that are nearby. The cabin has a nice little front entry room, a main room with pull-out couch, table, and well-stocked small kitchen, and then the bedroom with bathroom (shower only). We used both the bed and the pull-out couch (both queens), and both were very comfortable! The interior is paneled with beautiful beetle-kill pine wood. The great location in town means you shouldn't expect seclusion and should expect some noise, but it was well worth it to us, to park the car and be able to walk everywhere.
