We had a fabulous time! This is a great place super close to the lake and restaurants/activities!

We usually do an annual trip to incline Village and unfortunately, the last property we stayed at was sold. We have been looking for a new property to book and we were very happy with the Brookside Chalet.
Our family of 5 was very comfortable with plenty of space for everyone. The amenities are wonderful, we usually pick a day to stay in, relax, play games and cook. The fire pit, the hot tub and outdoor seating areas were excellent in our stay at home family day.
Communication with the host was easy as well as check in. Anytime I communicated, they were very responsive and answered any questions I had.
My only suggestion is, it would be nice if they had a mop/swiffer and vacuum on hand for guest use. They had a swiffer of some sort but no cleaning solution or pads that matched. We noticed we were bringing in debris from the outdoors and some sap making the floor sticky. We were careful to wipe our shoes well after that. Not a deal breaker, just a suggestion. I just picked up some cleaning spray at the store.
Thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay.

The house was clean and in a nice area. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. A quick drive to Incline Bowling which was a hit with our group. The hot tub was clean and worked well. The host quickly responded to any questions and concerns.

I enjoyed my stay. The best part was the creek. It was very relaxing. Thank you

Wonderful stay at a Lake Tahoe property with very nice upgrades and touches. We used the steam shower and that is just so incredible! The bathroom had heated floors which added to the spa like experience of the bathroom. The home has a great hot tub overlooking a serene creek which just added to the whole experience. Would recommend this Lake Tahoe vacation rental!

Had a great stay over Christmas! Photos were accurate. Neighborhood is quiet; house is right in front of a small creek. Very close (5 minutes) to Diamond Peak Ski Resort for skiing; my mom loved that. Maybe 15 minutes to King’s Beach. Could fit up to 8 comfortably in three bedrooms with three separate beds and one bunk bed; dining table might be a little crowded for that. Kitchen has essentials, WiFi worked fine. Sonos speakers, hot tub, and fire pit.

Close to town. Lovely redone property with modern technology and amenities with cabin charm. We were only there one night but would love to come back and enjoy everything the property has to offer - like the hot tub!

Overall, this was an amazing stay. Waking up and going to sleep to the peaceful sound of the creek in the backyard was absolutely amazing! The hot tub in the backyard was so relaxing and beautiful. The home was also beautiful and cozy fireplace area was everything. The neighbors were so friendly and dog friendly. The location of the home was perfect, an extremely short drive and a very convenient distance to everything - groceries, restaurants, attractions; everything. My family and I really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

We had a great stay for the weekend. Cute house, nice location, comfortable beds. There was plenty of space for the whole family and dog to spread out or hang out.

This property is a very unique find! With the windows open, the babbling creek is heard throughout the house. The house is cozy with a fireplace nook and several spacious rooms. Our family of 5 was very comfortable in this home. There were a few hiccups in the beginning; however, once the owners were notified, they were quick to respond and to find solutions for us. The rest of our stay was very comfortable and pleasant. In this home, we felt like we had our own private sanctuary. Lake Tahoe is a beautiful place full of activities, and we were never bored. There is a grocery store, pharmacy, several shops, parks within close proximity. There are also several lake activities, horseback riding (recommend Camp Richardson Corral), and casinos in the area as well. I would highly recommend staying at this Vrbo and we will be back soon!

Overall good property butt heater thermostat was left at 43F degree by cleaning team and it was freezing cold outside. In addition to that there was no firewood provided so we had no chance to heat up the house when we arrived and it took several hours for heater to get temprature up to at least 60 degree.

Everything was fitted into the description and was very cozy. Beds were comfortable upstairs. The only things we came encounter was the heated floor’s upstairs were not working so it was pretty cold but had to put bunch of towels on it helped :).. the dryer didn’t dry as fast I had to run it couple of times, for some reason we almost got locked out after coming out of the jacuzzi the sliding door wouldn’t open and luckily we came from the other door. I suggest having another nest for upstairs instead of just one nest downstairs to control the heating system for the house. The whole time my family member and I kept competing with the nest since downstairs room heat up hot and upstairs not as much.. other than little hiccups, it was a great location and cozy place.

My family and I were suppose to stay at this house over the weekend. It was predicted to be dangerous traveling conditions due to a storm. We had purchased travel insurance for the trip but the map was showing that the road to the house was inaccessible. I contacted the owner ahead of time requesting to change the dates of our stay due to the weather conditions and accessibility of the property. The owners told me that the roads were open and denied my request to reschedule, presumably because they didn’t want to miss out on the income of a lost weekend. Long story short, we were unable to access the property due to the storm and are filing a claim. I let the owners know and never heard from them again. They are selfish and should be ashamed of their behavior. Don’t rent from them.

This is the second time staying at the cabin, it was another great experience. The host always replies right away, no matter how big ,or small the request is.

We couldn't use the grill or the firepit for lack of propane. Plenty of tanks but they were empty.
The spa had chemicals in it, but it was dirty inside.
No wood for the fireplace

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. It has everything you would need and we loved sitting out on the deck to drink our morning coffee before exploring the really cool village this house is nestled in. Would highly recommend!

We had a great stay in Incline Village. The home was well furnished, comfortable and had a family-touch! It was clear that people live there – in a good way!!! Layout was great for me and my colleague. Location was convenient. We saw a bear in the neighborhood! So cool!

Betsy and Devin were extremely quick to respond with any questions we had and the home was beautiful.
The seating area by the creek was the perfect morning coffee spot and the hot tub made the evenings even better, will definitely be staying here every time we travel to Tahoe

This was a fantastic property in a great little town. We loved everything about it and will definitely be coming back!

Comfortable home at a great location. Summer nights can be really hot so investing in portable or window AC units for the bedrooms and/or ceiling fans for all bedrooms would make it much better.
5.0
Cute house on a nice property! The kids loved playing in the yard next to the stream. Location was perfect, not far from Sand harbor or local store, but far enough from traffic. Wish they had AC and a bit more patio furniture, but overall a great home to plan a vacation near the lake!

Wonderful House!
We absolutely loved our stay at this house. Super comfortable bedrooms, plenty of room and the place is just beautiful. We loved the gurgling creek off the deck. The little gas fire pit didn't seem to be working but no worries, the hot tub and rest of house made up for it! I really liked the retro snow board decor, brings back a lot of memories for me. We were very sad to leave and could have stayed forever if we could. Would definitely go back, and hope to!

Overall 3 ⭐️
Pros: great location in Incline Village. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom toiletries.
Cons: Posted pics are deceiving. Back patio was a huge disappointment. Too dirty to enjoy. No overhead lighting in the family room and breakfast area made it difficult to read or play games in those spaces. Two bathrooms, but only one hairdryer and it was broken. We had to go buy one.
2.0
Great Location. But….
Needs a deep cleaning inside and out. Back deck hardly useable - broken glass, no comfortable seating. Sap all over seating and deck flooring - definitely could use a power washing.
Saw a rodent in house first night.
Very limited toiletries - not even hand soap.
Beds were comfortable.
Owner might want to check into getting a better cleaning service because this house does have a lot to offer, just needs to be cleaned up.

Great retreat!
We loved staying in this property. The hosts were very responsive to our few questions, the house was clean and well-stocked with everything that we needed, and its location couldn’t be beat! Thanks for sharing it with us!

Nice little get away
We were visiting for a wedding and had our family there with us to watch the kids. We enjoyed our stay and really enjoyed the hot tub! Communication with the owner/manager was easy and they let us check in early so I could get the kids settled. Highly recommend!

The location was good and owners were responsive to our questions once on site. It is a nice home.
It is a nice home. We booked late and home was available at a discount since it wasn’t rented so some amenities were not fully available such as gas for outdoor fireplace, towels and hot tub filled during our stay so unusable for one and half days due to temperature. The owners were responsive but unapologetic given they only received 50 percent their normal fee as they stated.

Great place for a ski weekend
This was a great house for our family and friends. We skied the weekend and it was nice to come back to a clean house to take showers and jump in the hot tub. The kids loved the little extras there for them as you can tell the owners have children themselves. The bunk beds are nice and the rest of the sleeping arrangements are good as well. Easy communication with the owners as needed and overall a great time and will be back. Thank you

Incline Village House
Overall this house was a great fit for our family. It was clean and provided all we needed plus a few extras like hot tub, fire pit and steam shower with heated bathroom floor. The only complaint was the hot water did not last for more than 2 showers so we had to space showers accordingly.

Beautiful Stay
Terrific ! The only thing that was glaringly annoying was the kitchen faucet . It sounds like a faint (but loud enough ) diesel horn every time you turn it on . Other than that , this was a beautiful, well appointed and decorated cabin/chalet . We enjoyed our time here immensely! Thank you!

Wonderful Cabin in the woods!
We had an amazing Tahoe trip! The house is spacious yet cozy. My kids loved the bunk room! We skied during the day and enjoyed the hot tub and the fireplace in the evenings.
The beds are comfortable, the house was very clean and well appointed. I will definitely bring my family back!

Perfect family getaway
We will be staying here again. We brought 2 of our adult children and our 2 teenagers and we all had a good time. Close (20 mins) to snowboarding and a perfect home to come to after a long day on the slopes. Very peaceful neighborhood. If you are looking for something within walking distance of stores and shops, this isn't the spot for you. If you ARE looking to disconnect and unplug from work and the hustle and bustle, THIS is a great place for that. Only recommendation I could make is to add more board games that the family could play during the evening!

it's a cozy cabin my wife and toddler son loved this place my son like playing around the creek and my wife loved the hot tub under the pines. everything about the cabin was great

Pleasant Stay for the weekend
I stayed here with a group of friends and we had a lot of fun. The place is extremely spacious and had good amenities. There is some issue with the lighting as not all the lights were working. The hot tub was not heating up but it was still working properly and we enjoyed lazying there for sometime. Overall a really good place to spend quality time.
