Centrally located to all the things we wanted to do… The Biltmore, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, The Tourists, Henry Mill

The large property has space for everyone. The pool is awesome and the depth allows everyone to float to their heart's content. We used the game area, breakfast nook, and dining table to the fullest.
4.7
Wonderful home for our group. Kids and adults loved the pool and hot tub. It's on a busy road but once you're in the house and back yard you forget that.
4.7
Close to great mountain biking, the airport, and great places to eat. Our group highly recommends this house. Perfect

We had an amazing time. Thankful for a restful retreat. This home is very drivable to a lot of things. Which made it very handy!
4.7
We had a great weekend in this home! We had some problems with ants, and some of the flooring was coming up which made walking in one hallway really loud while others were sleeping. Overall it was a great home and we would stay here again.

Loved our stay.

I recently spent some time at Avery's Creek, and boy, let me tell ya, this place is something else! Tucked away in the mountains of Western Carolina, it's like a luxury log cabin on steroids.
The location is spot-on – close to Asheville and Biltmore Park, which means you're just a hop, skip, and a jump away from downtown Asheville and all the cool spots. I mean, I've seen shorter commutes to the fridge, but hey, who's counting?
Now, let's talk accommodations. This place has more rooms than a game of hide and seek. Six bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms – I've seen smaller hotels, I tell ya. And the beds, oh boy, they're comfier than my favorite recliner. Even had a bunk bed situation going on; it's like the Brady Bunch meets the Smoky Mountains.
And the amenities? Forget about it! Private swimming pool and a hot tub? It's like having a personal spa day in the mountains. The decks were bigger than my last tax bill – perfect for some R&R with a view. And they even had a fenced-in yard for the dogs – talk about rolling out the red carpet for our furry friends.
Cleanliness? You could eat off the floor. I didn't, but you could. These folks take cleanliness seriously, and I respect that. I've seen less attention to detail in my high school yearbook photos.
Luxury, laughter, and a pool – what more could you ask for? I can't wait to go back and see if I can break the record for the most cannonballs in that pool. Watch out, Michael Phelps, I'm coming for ya!

Home is conveniently located to Hendersonville and Asheville and afforded us easy opportunity to visit several great locations. The property manager was very responsive to all our need and would definitely stay again.

Lots of room and very nice outdoor area for family fun.

Perfect property for our large family! We enjoyed the pool & hot tub & large grassy area for summer football workouts. There were 17 of us and the house accommodated everyone, including enough seating during dinners. Grocery store and gas stations close by. If you have a chance, visit Dolly’s Dairy Barn - about a 20 minute drive, but worth it!

With eight adults and six kids under ten, the space was more than enough. The location was great. Pool and hot tub were perfect. Good kitchen and family room. The back deck was fantastic. Lastly the space in the yard as well as the overall geographic location via being close to good food and breweries was superb. We did have to wait 24 hours to get someone out there to fix the air conditioning in 1/2 of the unit so it was warmer than ideal that first night. In addition, there was leaking plumbing drain from one of the bathroom shower pans into one of the king-size bedrooms (there was a spot of black mold in the ceiling) so a plumber had to come out and fix that (total of 4 trips in and out). Though, we appreciated the responsiveness on that issue. Lastly, most everyone on our trip did get some sort of bites during the evenings - our doctor back home said they were likely “chigger” bites. We were not familiar with that kind of insect. The bites cleared up after about a week. Overall, great house, couple of issues, but we would likely go back again.

We had 12 people and plenty of room to spread out. The home was beautiful.

We enjoyed the stay and place! :)

Our extended family spent Thanksgiving week in this home and it was a wonderful time. The location was convenient for day trips to hike in the mountains or for visiting the Biltmore. Lots s to do and see in the area. The house was great for our large family to have space to be together or to spread out when needed. It is located on a busy road and the traffic noise can be a bit much, but the house itself is great! Host was well organized with everything clearly stated in handbook.
4.7
House is very spacious and clean. We had a large family group and it accommodated all of us. Clean and well decorated. Will be first on list of places to stay when we return!
4.7
This house has everything for a great time with a large group of people. Very clean and well stocked kitchen. Lots of pool noodles, outdoor chairs and even cornhole. Close to hiking and water activities. Downtown was a little farther than I anticipated at 20 minutes.
4.7
Very nice house with good indoor and outdoor amenities, perfect for multi-family get-together.

family friendly, near Asheville
met here for family vacation with a group that included 3 children ( ages 1-4) and adults 30s-70s.
we liked: amount of bedrooms, ease of getting to asheville and other local areas by car, the pool was nice.
cons: on a very busy road, so not really something you can walk around on/neighborhood that is walkable. this we knew going in based on previous reviews but just wanted to mention.
hot tub was pretty dingy looking when we arrived ( luckily we weren't planning on using it but seeing it look kind of icky wasn't great).
For the price we paid expected that there would be a full roll of paper towels, dish detergent for dishwasher and appropriate recycling bags ( as handbook requested you use) and none of these things were done. the manager offered to reimburse for cost of dish soap however it was more about the convenience after traveling over 2 days to our destination and being exhausted the first night and not having soap to run the dishwasher.
on the one side of the house there is no bathroom that isn't connected to a bedroom, so for our setup this made it tricky sometimes with kids who are sleeping or people napping. the setup is basically two separate houses connected by a hallway in between. so on the one side you have 2 bedrooms and separate bath downstairs and then upstairs 2 bedrooms and 2 bath ( 1 ensuite bath). on the other side of the house there was one bedroom downstairs with en suite bath that also had a door to main living area. the upstairs had another huge bedroom with another bedroom next to it with the bunk beds. full bath up there as well.
the AC broke one day and the property manager gave us a hard time about wanting same day repair insisting there was nothing they could do, eventually they sent someone out with portable AC window units. happy it resolved but it was handled the best.
also we totaled 7 adults and 3 kids. a lot of us ate at different times, I'd say the kitchen is on the smaller side for the amount of people the house says it holds. just something to be mindful of if you plan to cook a lot.
overall we enjoyed our stay, time at the pool and ease of getting to various locations. for what we paid this didn't seem to quite match our expectations. seems to be a premium because of increased demand for vacations at the moment.

Well located but on busy road
Well appointed house was located within easy drives of parks and river.

The property was a perfect fit for our family. It is very convenient to Asheville as well as the Dupont Forest. It is a 5-6 minute drive to the airport. The kids enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. We really enjoyed our vacation.

+ We had 14 friends staying at the house, and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, sleep in separate beds, and be comfortable
+ Outdoor entertainment area (esp. pool, hot tub, and fire pit) is a fun amenity and well maintained
+ Quick 10 min drive to airport, Sierra Nevada brewery, and multiple golf courses, and easy 20 min drive to downtown Asheville
- Large groups will have to eat in different areas, as main indoor dining table can't accommodate everyone at once

We had 4 families, 12 people stay and had a great time. There was lots of room for everyone to space out during the day, and gather together in the evening. The pool and hot tub were a hit. The furniture and beds felt new. The kitchen had all the cooking tools and amenities we needed.

Great space for a large group
This property was large enough for our girls weekend and close to Asheville for our adventures! Lots of rooms to spread our for those who wanted more quiet, but still communal areas for us all to be together. We needed to refill the pool and clean a bit, but nothing crazy. My big wish was for a later check out time because it was very hard to get that many travelers out and the space packed up before 10:00am. Overall great home and lots of memories!

This house is great for a large group. It has all the amenities. There were a couple of repair issues while we were there which can be expected in a house that gets a lot of use all summer. The management company were very responsive and took care of all requests promptly. Only draw back is that is about 20 minutes from Asheville. We wish that we could have been a little closer. Location was very private despite being on a busier road.

Our family of 12 stayed for a week and this property in early August. Ages range from late 60s to 8 months old. This house provided a great range of rooms and amenities. The pool was a nice touch as well for the school aged kids. The drive into Asheville was very convenient.

Good experience overall
Had family and friends (ages 3 to late 60's) staying for a long weekend. This property is very accommodating for all ages. We had a great time in the pool and hot tub. It rained a lot so we were only able to have a fire in the fire pit the first night. Recycling can was full when we got there and 2 of the 4 trash cans were also full. We ended up putting recycling in the trash cans which was disappointing. Other than that was a great place and would definitely stay there again.

Amazing stay
This is the second time we have stayed at this home and enjoyed it just the same. Will book again in the future!
