Schöner Urlaub!

Das Haus ist toll! Mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und beleuchtet. Man kann von hier super Ausflüge in die Gegend machen. Diane ist wirklich toll und hilfsbereit!!!

Leider war in der Anzeige die Lage direkt an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße nicht angegeben. Die Autos rollen Tag und Nacht, und das ist laut, obwohl alles so idyllisch ist. Alles war sauber, aber die Küche nicht wirklich. Das liegt vorrangig an den Mietern, die wahrscheinlich schmutziges Geschirr und Besteck in die Schränke räumen. Wir sind seit Jahren Ferienhausmieter und kennen das Problem.

Perfect for our needs as we were visiting family who live close by. Property had everything we neede

Self catering so breakfast was on me. I have stayed here before and love that it is out in the country and secluded but close to main roads if you want to travel.

beautiful location and away from everything except you can hear the motorway close by which is a shame

the hosts were over the top about we missed a bit of dog poo in the grass and they wrote to us wanting more money we payed close to a €1000 for 4 nights midweek they also said the dog dirtied a blanket that needed dry cleaning which they would not send pictures of when asked as we would have paid that even though we left the cleaners a €50 tip plus they want you to bring all your rubbish every bit of it to the recycling centre miles away it’s crazy I loved the house but would never return there while same hosts own property

Wonderful and lovely place to stay.

Exceptional place to stay. Very spacious with an unique style. Former farm house with all amenties you need. WLAN and large TV as well as open fire place and wonderful surroundings incl. large garden. Fully equipped kitchen. Recommended for families.

One of the showers didn't work properly - but you have three of them - so use the other ones !

a bit large for just two of us but we chose a busy period to visit the area, the owners were friendly and helpful and we

lovely location, nicely refurbished stone barn building, very comfortable.

gosh being a bit picky here but found lighting a bit harsh so moved some bedside lamps into sitting area, then it was really cosy

Beautiful home in gorgeous surroundings

We loved the location of the house and the beautiful grounds surrounding it. We were lucky with the weather so we enjoyed spending time in the garden and our dog loved running around and 'talking' to the cows in the field across the stream. The house itself is big with comfy beds and plenty of room. The kids loved the smart tv and the two loft bedrooms. The house is located near Carrick-on-Suir and Clonmel where you can cycle the blue way, shop, eat etc. It is also near Slievenamon if you fancy a hike. I would really recommend staying at the Old House, we hope to be back again some day

A superb property in a great location, handy for Kilkenny and Waterford, we all had a great time!

The location is superb as is the accommodation itself. We had our dog with us and he loved the garden, yard and stream. Constant hot water was great also!

It would have been great to have a bin for standard refuse, but this is a small quibble

Superb

Ideal location in a quiet rural spot but yet close to so many towns and sightseeing spots. A beautiful, comfortable home to relax in. Beds in 2 main rooms so comfy. Our host Diane was a pleasure to deal with.

Home from home

This is an exceptional property which has been totally restored to a very high standard , it is particularly well maintained and very comfortable. Diane was particularly helpful It’s location is close to both Waterford and Wexford coasts as well as to the city of Kilkenny. Frankly it’s in the middle of nowhere but close to everywhere.

A mini getaway

We were met by the lovely Breda . Who couldn’t have been more helpful getting us settled ! Everything was immaculate and we really felt all we had to do was kick back and relax . Breda checked on us thought out the stay via what’s app which was lovely . An ideal spot for anyone looking to chill for a few days .

Fabulous weekend away

The property was simply amazing & we had a great weekend! The Old House is a superb luxury farmhouse which our teenager girls loved!

It was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway but is a little isolated which we loved!
