The house has an absolutely wonderful location in the centre of Rye. The house is immaculately decorated in a very tasteful style with everything that we needed. The beds were very comfortable. Our hosts were kind and very flexible about arrival and departure which was much appreciated. We stayed during a cold spell in January but the heating system is very powerful and the house was warm and cosy. Everything in the house was well explained and well thought out. The local guide and information supplied at the house were very useful both prior to and during our stay.

It was self catering and though the kitchen is small it had everything you need.nice big bedrooms and a lovely shower.location for the town is excellent.
Slightly noisy due to seagulls loud people and the clock sounding the hour from the church but nothing that can be avoided by the lovely owners.

Superb location, opposite top of Mermaid Street. House was spotless and had everything needed.

Located in the very heart of Rye, on a beautiful quiet pedestrianised cobbled street, Little Sussex House is a lovely roomy picture-perfect two-bedroom cottage. It has all the facilities anyone could want - a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living-room, with TV, DVD player etc and excellent bathroom, with additional downstairs toilet. The whole cottage cannot be faulted for cleanliness and design. It was our third stay at Little Sussex House, and hopefully not our last. The perfect base from which to explore the delights of Rye and surrounds
Nothing. Everything was just right and a total delight.

Breakfast was not included. We do wish there had been salt and pepper. Location is unbeatable.
Better coffee availability. Salt and pepper. Paper towels or napkins.
4.7
ideally situated in the old part of the town with plenty of tea rooms, restaurants and shops to enjoy.
we loved everything about the property.
4.7
We felt welcome by the host as they messaged and called on our day of arrival with clear instructions on how to get into the property. We liked the cleanliness of the property and how easy it was to feel at home. The kitchen was really easy to cook in and pop everything away in the dish washer too! The location was right in the middle of town by a beautiful church.
The only thing I'd want next time is a sofa so I can relax when my kiddo has gone to sleep :) other than that, I really liked this place!

I would return again at the drop of a hat.

Couldn't find fault.

A superbly furnished and maintained house in the center of medieval Rye. A cosy and warm location for winter visits and central to all sights, restaurants and shops.
Communication with the hosts was straight forward and timely and they were most helpful.

Our second stay at Little Sussex House.
Located in the very heart of historic Rye. Quiet and peaceful, directly opposite Lamb House, a lovely National Trust House and its garden. Little Sussex House itself is beautifully presented, with two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs and a lounge and kitchen on the ground floor. The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you might need. There is also a dining table, very comfortable sofa chairs, television/DVD player and a selection of books and DVDs. The hosts are very pleasant indeed and supportive.
Nothing. Everything was perfect. We love both Rye and Little Sussex House and look forward very much to a return visit in the near future.

This is a gem of a property, a perfectly formed house right in the heart of Rye. We loved its style and quality and it makes the perfect base to explore the town and the surrounding area.
Nothing, it was all top notch.

Superb location. Opposite Lamb House, the former home of several writers, including Henry James, a literary hero of mine. Quiet and peaceful location too, in the very heart of historic Rye.
The interior of the cottage is spacious and very attractive, with two bedrooms, a modern bathroom (plus extra toilet on the ground floor), and a combined living-room/kitchen with all the necessary requirements.
The host was extremely pleasant, informative and helpful, yet left you to your own devices.
Nothing. I cannot recommend this property highly enough. Everything was excellent.
