We had a fabulous holiday staying at the Chappy Resort. Checking in was really simple and the property manager, Jeff, provided an excellent service. He was really helpful and answered the questions we asked straightaway, we couldn't ask for more from a manager. My children very much appreciated the fact that there were TVs in each bedroom and the lounge/living area was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped, with more than enough utensils for our stay there. The outside area was superb - lovely swimming pool and right on the canal: it was very relaxing in the evening, having a BBQ and looking at the beautiful view. Location was second to none - very near to great restaurants and supermarkets. The house is also in a good location to drive to Miami for sightseeing and Sawgrass Mills for clothes shopping. We would thoroughly recommend staying at Chappy Waterfront Resort and intend to come back and stay there again!

We traveled from Mississippi to Pompano Beach and had this house booked for our stay. It was a good time to reconnect with our kids. If you're looking for a more touristy place, this really isn't it, but that doesn't lessen the vacation. The kids stayed in the pool as long as possible, we ate dinner on the back patio, went to the Pompano Beach fishing pier and threw a couple fishing lines out.

The house was laid out nicely and comfortable for our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and easily accessible. We all loved sitting on the patio around the pool where we spent the majority of our vacation. We would come visit Pompano Beach again.

A long Super Bowl weekend at the Chappy House was good. The house has a greek/statue type character and has all the amentities needed. Enjoyed staying at the house. Clean and just right.

We stayed at Chappy's for 4 nights this past February. The property was 100% as described and was the perfect stay for the 5 of us (parents with our 3 kids, ages 20 & 21). Location, price point and amenities could not be matched with any other property plus had the bonus of RV parking for our motorhome. The outdoor space was a big hit! The interior is a bit dated however the pictures reflect this. It did not affect our stay at all. We loved the unique decor. We had a couple minor maintenance issues and the property manager was very quick to respond and remedy. The only non 5* was for cleanliness - the critical areas were clean to average hotel standards (beds, bathroom, kitchen). The home could use a good deep clean every 4 months to give it that extra wow factor. There were many splash stains on walls, cupboards and doors. The welcome binder also indicates that guests are to replace the bedding with clean sheets prior to leaving. I have huge concerns that some guests will just make the beds without replacing them with clean linens if left to their discretion. Who wants to spend the last morning of their vacation prepping beds for the next guest. I would suggest removing this clause from the binder so guests are confident this is part of the cleaning fee. If we ever find ourselves travelling to this area again, we will absolutely plan another stay at Chappy's.

My family really enjoyed the outdoor space in this home ! The pool and deck were beautiful and we enjoyed eating outside every day . Loved to watch the jumping fish in the canal while sipping my morning tea and having a peaceful breakfast . The kids had fun playing playing the bean bag toss , lounging on the chairs and swimming all day!

The outdoors of the property was awesome. The house was big enough for our family of 4 but the indoor furniture needs to be changed. A chair at the dining table seems to be falling off and the sofa set has as old musky odor. So it was quite gross sitting on it. Other than that we had a great time

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Fort Lauderdale and we’re so excited to experience all of the ameninities that chappys house offered. The pool was great and location was close to all of our events and shopping / resteraunts. We appreciated the beach towels and chairs and overall ease of check in and amount of sleeping space. The neighborhood seems quiet and safe.
That being said, we were disappointed with the amount of supplies offered in the kitchen. The lack of essentials , salt and pepper, olive oil, sprays, etc, made it difficult to eat meals over the weekend. A heads up that those items would not be provided would be helpful for guests in the future. All of the other rentals we have stayed at offered those kitchen basics. Also, we were told that no extra paper goods would be provided ; leaving us with 3 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people for 3 days and one paper towel roll which was very limited. On top of that, the twin bed sheets and blankets were very smelly and smelled like they hadn’t been washed in weeks. There were dead bugs around the house and it looked like things had been skipped over when cleaning. There is some damage to the walls (holes) that have not been patched. If you’re looking for a place to sleep it has what you need , and the relaxing pool was a much needed oasis, but don’t expect anything extra.

We loved our stay! My husband and 2 of our grown children had a great time here! The house was well appointed and just as listed. The pool and all the outdoor seating were the highlights for us! We ate outside every meal (even when it rained) and spent a lot of time in the pool. Great location, only 20 min from the airport, close to groceries and restaurants. We would definitely come back!

The backyard was a pleasure. The pool was beautiful and enjoyable. We enjoyed watching the fish leaping in the canal. We ate all of our meals outside.
The furnishings and appliances were modest. But understandable since it is a dog friendly home.
My dog- not too adventurous- was easily barricaded from the area that was open to the canal.

Very nice house. Great swimming pool and outside lounging also easy Uber to beach and nightlife. The only thing I would add is an outside tv for the sport’s enthusiast which was mentioned a few times. Very clean and a great time had by all.

My husband and I arrived and the location wasn’t bad at all. The pool itself and dock are nice and the pool heated very well. The house was plenty enough room for us, and then some. They had plenty of pool toys for our little one.
The furniture could use some updating as we had to cover the couch with sheets because it looked gross but it was soft. And the back patio kitchen was a little run down. The property manager said he would address our main concern, which was the fact that we killed at least 15 roaches inside… it definitely could be cleaned better as there were long black hairs all in the bathroom, and I have blonde hair. Under the couch looked as though it hasn’t been swept or mopped in months.
We spent most of our time outside and the property manager was nice. Like I said the location and the pool were great, with a little tlc, updated and clean furniture and some fixing of the back patio I think the house would be much better. Definitely need to get rid of the roaches.
We enjoyed our family time and are thankful for our get away.

The check in process was a little odd because the email with the instructions went to a spam folder and there was no information on the app. I had to message the home owners to find out the key location. The house was super comfortable, but it could use new pillows. There were plenty of towels and pool floats to use if you wanted to too. I would stay here again!

This house was good it could be great with better cleaning and a faux leather couch in the living room and indoor patio furniture without fabric that can be easily wiped down. for a family I found plenty of dish ware towels sheets I did not find dead roaches however killed 2 on the kitchen counter the house could definitely be cleaned more thoroughly. The couch in living room did look gross however their were plenty of flat sheets in the closet I used to cover the couch and indoor patio furniture the outdoors was a great space it was nice to see small boats going thru the intercostal the property Mgr text me and quickly answered all of my questions the house does not have internet if you do not have use of a hot spot on your phone you will not be able to access internet on your devices. tv also had very few channels available however you can access Netflix it has internet on the tv but no password

Our stay in this house was pretty frustrating and not as expected. The house is furnished with an old dirty furniture and loud squeaky bed made with stained bedding. The kitchen is also very old, but the worst part is that all the pans are dirty and oily, not enough dishes supplied. In addition, this was the first time ever that the kitchen was completely empty and there were no even basic condiments like salt or sugar present. No napkins or bounty supplied. However, there are plenty of bugs such as beetles and huge cockroaches were found. Be careful with the dishwashing machine, the water stays there and you have to run it a few time in hopes that it will drain. The pictures shown on the website are misleading, the room are small, and the TVs provided are of the IPad size. Also, we were not able to use the coach in the living room because it is extremely dirty. The only expectable part of the entire house was the back yard. Yet even that had been disappointing because the pool water was cold, we were not able to swim, in fact the water in the ocean was way warmer then the pools. We would give the house -5 stars if we could, it is not worth the money you pay. Stay away from it!

Best part of the house was the pool area. Lack of utensils, house had dead roaches in kitchen cabinet, furniture dirty and old, TV’s way to small in living room and bedroom definitely the master bedroom. However location was convenient to stores.

The property was amazing. The management and maintenance crew maintained excellent communication before, during, and after the stay. The property is very elegant. The pictures are no where near as nice as it really is. I will be staying here again!

I have to say any problems we did have, the handyman came out and rectified them the same day. this alone would not stop us going back, however
the pool unfortunately was too cold and we didn't use it, I am fully aware we went in December, so the sun wasn't going to heat it as much as in the summer and that would be the only reason why we wouldn't book this house again.
We spent most of our time outside, I would suggest more lighting outside for the winter months as it does become dark early, so we couldn't eat outside, but again that didn't spoil our time there. just a suggestion.
My husband and sons enjoyed fishing from the dock, and then we all enjoyed the going ons of the Iguanas, a pest to the neighbours so they told us but we loved watching them and even named a couple.
