Stayed for a week, fit five people comfortably in a 130 year old cottage. Immediate & responsive communication with owner. Kitchen extremely well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, modern appliances etc just need to bring your food. There's a 2nd half bathroom (toilet only) situated between two of the four bedrooms and inside the fourth bedroom located on the second floor, so it's not convenient to use when the fourth bedroom is occupied, so everyone has to go down the steps to the first floor and past the living room to access the 1st floor full bathroom, it could be quite a trek in the middle of the night. The backyard has an enclosed porch and courtyard with plentiful and comfortable seating with a nice sized grill and outdoor shower with changing area. Front porch has plenty of rocking chairs and seating to enjoy a quiet morning cup of coffee/tea, and a few passersby. The house is perfect, lots of light and pleasantly decorated with bright beachy colorful accents. The beds are comfortable, there's only one queen bed and the other beds are either double/full or twin. There's plenty of games to play, however I didn't see Scrabble or Chess games. We stayed at the beginning of September and used a few heaters, they tripped the circuit breaker a couple of times. The windows in the bedroom on the first floor are permanently open (they've been painted over so they won't shut but they have screens), so that room definitely needs a heater in September during the mornings.

This was a very comfortable, well-appointed home that was peaceful and relaxing. The house, located on the best street of OB, had all the comforts of home. This was a plus considering the rain kept us inside more than we liked during our stay. The owner was communicative and responsive . Would definitely stay here again!

Easy walk to the beach, or to town, or to tennis courts. This cottage was perfect for our 7 person plus one baby family. Wonderful porch with rockers and chairs, plus a backyard patio. Places to store your bikes back in the patio area and kitchen was well stocked with cookware so we could cook meals at home.

My group and I had a fantastic stay in this charming cottage! The location and beautiful front porch could not have been better. We enjoyed many walks to downtown Oak Bluffs, neighboring parks, and the beach - all easily accessible. The enclosed backyard space, outdoor shower, light and airy colors and decor, along with accommodating first floor living/dining/kitchen area were big pluses! In addition, the owner (Heidi) was very responsive both before and during our stay.

Our stay this past weekend was amazing, this was my friends and my first time on the Vineyard and it didn't disappoint! The house was in a great location to the ferry, great restaurants, and the beach! The house itself was so cute & quaint! Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here for a week at the start of June and had a great time. Super easy walking distance to Oak Bluffs for amazing donuts. It has a great kitchen too so you can easily stay in and cook. The pictures don't do the house justice as it's super adorable.

Beautiful, quant, romantic gingerbread house, the prettiest on the street - I was told by many as they walked by, while sitting on the most amazing porch. It had everything you could possibly need. Beds super comfy, fans in every room.
It was so close to everything , one end of the street was Inkwell Beach and the other end was Circuit Ave for shopping and dining. Great vacation, I would love to go back to this little piece of heaven.
Easy check-in and great communication with the owners!!

The house is just as advertised. Adorably quirky and we loved every minute of it. A true gingerbread charmer. Heidi was very responsive with any/all our needs. I would highly recommend.

Had a very nice stay at this MV property. The owner Heidi was very pleasant, friendly and helpful... very responsive. This a vintage house, it has the quirks older houses have which make them charming. House was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. It had all the modern conveniences we needed... including a gas fireplace to take the chill out of those brisk fall mornings. its a very easy walk to town, ferry, shops, bike rentals and restaurants. We brought our car so we could explore the island. Easy parking in front of house. Had a great time, would definetely stay there again.

We were very happy with our stay in this wonderful cottage in Oak Bluffs. The owner did a great job with outfitting it to make the stay very comfortable. The front porch was a nice amenity as we met many friendly people while maintaining social distancing, and enjoyed the beautiful surrounding homes. There could not be a more optimal location, as it is centrally located just two blocks from the shopping strip, harbor, park, and beach.

This beautiful home was our little piece of heaven for a week. The owners were great and incredibly easy to work with. The layout of the house is perfect and each bedroom had its own unique charm from the furniture to the decorations. A quintessential Vineyard cottage. The front porch is big with plenty of chairs to sit and rock while you relax and people watch. We could walk to Circuit Ave. very quickly and in the other direction was a super quick walk to the beach. We were extremely happy with this rental.

This picture perfect little cottage offered the perfect location to enjoy all that Oak Bluffs has to offer. It was a very quick walk to Circuit Ave, the Flying Horses, great restaurants, Backdoor Donuts, parks, the ferry, and Inkwell Beach. This would be an excellent choice for a family not wishing to bring a car to the island (although I'd recommend it to explore the other wonderful towns and beaches on Martha's Vineyard). It was kind of a drag having to bring our own linens and towels and do much of the cleaning after our stay considering the cost, but that is standard for home renting on this island. However, when packing one car for a family of five the linens take up a ton of space. We have stayed at other homes that offer use of their bikes and beach chairs, but with this rental you provide your own. All in all, the house was well appointed, functioned in all ways properly, pleasant and comfortable. We would definitely recommend it to friends and family and would consider staying here again if we return to Martha's Vineyard.
