We had a family beach weekend. The house met our needs perfectly, and the location was a two-minute walk to the beach. The house was stocked with lots of kitchen stuff, beach towels, and beach chairs. It was a quick walk to the IGA for more ice. The deck was perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails.

Mrs. Suzanne goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is everything you could ever imagine! This home is clean and very well taken care of. We came down for my brothers wedding and it was the best experience ever! We were minutes from the store, in walking distance to restaurants and this home came equipped with anything you may have missed on your packing. Very nice and clean home, thank you mrs Suzanne

My family and I had an amazing time in Tybee together and this house was perfect for us. Plenty of space for a large group to spread out, a short walk from the beach, and convenient shops/food nearby. Host was available at all times and was extremely helpful and kind. Can’t wait to visit again!

My adult daughters and I spent the week at Rowland's Retreat. Everything was amazing. It was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. The beach was peaceful and a great place to recharge. We hooe to return soon.

What a cozy beach house! Very comfortably furnished with nice linens and sufficient kitchen utensils, plates, etc. We felt like we were staying at someone's home. Our host was a great communicator. Excellent location. Just steps from the beach boardwalk to the ocean and only a block away from the island grocery store. Easy to walk to restaurants, downtown area and main pier. We would stay again.

We loved our girls getaway for the 35th anniversary of our becoming friends! The house had a nice amount of space for four friends to spread out for our stay. Comfy spots in the house and on the deck to sit and chat. Easy walk to the beach (we appreciated access to towels & chairs), as well as several restaurants and shops, including the grocery store. Very reasonable drive in to Savannah. Host was great to work with!

Amazing home with everything you could ever need. Just bring your clothes and sunscreen. Very comfortable. Great deck seating. Three houses from the boardwalk to the beach. Easy walk to the downtown. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely stay again.

Property was very nice and spacious and provided enough bedding for our group of 5 adults and 3 children. We were able to cook breakfast in the morning as the grocery store was within walking distance. Took us 1 minute to walk from the house to the pier. Ms. Suzanne was very thorough with her communication before and during our stay. Would definitely stay again.

This house was very well kept and in a prime location! The floorplan was laid out nicely and was easy to accommodate our large party. The neighbors were very friendly and the access to the beach was right out the front door. The owner was very easy to contact and eager to answer any questions and all concerns. I highly recommend this property and hope to visit again.

We enjoyed this stay very much. So close to the beach only a few steps from beach access. Watching the sun come up from the front porch was beautiful. Rooms were used efficiently for maximum capacity. It’s hard to please a group of 7 ladies but none of us had complaints! If I had to list something that could be improved upon I would say that the carpet in the bedrooms was not ideal. A few things are dated but we enjoyed the nostalgic feel and atmosphere. It’s a cozy little beach house that met all our needs. The host was thorough and had great communication. Thank you Ms Suzanne! We will be back!

Suzanne is super sweet and a wonderful host! Communication was easy. Home was clean and the beds comfortable. It had everything we needed, except, oddly enough, a toaster. It didn’t really bother us though, because it gave us a great excuse to ditch the pop tarts and eat out for breakfasts, which was a nice change…and the beach was right there just a boardwalk away. I will definitely come back!

This property is accurately named! It truly was a retreat for my husband and I. We enjoyed the beautiful sunroom every day and had everything we could need. Suzanne was a wonderful hostess being sure to communicate with us well before our arrival and even after we arrived. We didn't need anything, but if we had, she would have gotten it for us! Looking forward to next year!

We reunited with friends to run/support the runners of the 2021 Savannah Marathon/Half Marathon. With less than ideal conditions (20-30mph winds and rain and cold), we ran and then cozied up out of the rain in the house for the rest of the day. It was such a great place to spend time together. While we didn’t get to enjoy the close beach access, we enjoyed the close restaurants. Suzanne was extremely welcoming and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Can’t say enough how much we loved this trip and this home

This was such a wonderful property for our family vacation. It was so close to everything from beach to restaurants. We really enjoyed the beautiful deck and spent most of our time while at the house lounging on the comfy patio furniture. Suzanne's beach cottage was perfect for our family's beach vacation. The unit easily fit four adults and 5 children all under the age of 7. The location was ideal as we were steps from groceries, restaurants, beach access and ice cream. Suzanne was very responsive to our request and it was clear she was making it a priority for us to enjoy our vacation. We highly recommend this rental!

We had a wonderful time staying at Suzanne's home. I selected this property based off the perfect location, and all the 5 star ratings Suzanne has received. I can assure you this property will not disappoint you. The location is one of the best on Tybee Island. Close enough to walk anywhere but still just outside the busiest parts of town. The street was quiet, and even on the busy weekend, there was enough room on the beach to not feel crowded. Suzanne was extremely attentive and quick to respond the 2 times I had questions. Even outside "normal business hours". I would definitely rent this home next time I visit Tybee. I just hope Suzanne will allow us to be guests in her home again. Thank you for a wonderful experience Suzanne. You exceeded all my expectations.

This property is as described, but a special note has to be said about how clean it is. Kudos to housekeeping. The house isn’t necessarily a place for a romantic getaway, but it’s great place for a group. The property owner was very informative and attentive. I’m certain she would have quickly addressed any issues should we have had any.
