We stayed here over Labor Day weekend with my adult kids and grandkids. The house easily accommodated our group of 5 adults and 6 kiddos. The kitchen was well-stocked, the house was clean, beds were firm but comfortable enough. We really enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed the beach and yard for playing. The water was very clean and soft sand! The bedrooms worked perfectly for our family. Host is very responsive and friendly. Beach and yard were clean, not so much the house.

We love this property. Dave & Olga answer all of our questions & it is easy to contact them. Unfortunately, we did get bites, maybe jiggers or lake itch the 2nd day. We showered immediately after our swims after that & we’re fine. Just inconvenient. Highly recommend this beautiful home.

Best family trip yet! Olga and Dave have a nice cabin with a great beach. Very clean, cozy, extra kayaks for kids great yard for games! 15 min max to Nisswa for any last min supply.
My family has been looking for a spot that we can return to each summer, we are very excited to have finally found a place! Thank you again Olga and Dave! See you next year!

The lake was beautiful. Water was clean, shallow, the kids enjoyed tubing. The cabin was also clean and accommodated the whole family.

This is beautiful place to stay! Everyone enjoyed the spacious large beach. This is our 3rd year in a row and already book it for 2025.

This house is beautiful and the screened is porch is an excellent amenity, but what sets this property apart is the beach area. The sand is soft and smooth, the water is clear, and the lake is shallow (under three feet) for the first hundred yards or so. For families with kids, it's a dream location. We've stayed here four or five times now, and even though it's a six-hour drive for us, we keep coming back for that beautiful beach.

Great Winter Vacation Location

It is beautifully situated on Pelican Lake with a wonderful beach. It worked out really well for three families with 5 small children. We look forward to returning in the summer when we can enjoy the water and beach.

Great property for a larger group especially when the weather is nice to be outside. Wonderful yard and beach with a bonfire to stargaze, nice screened in for raining days and well equipped kitchen.

After our parents passed, us siblings decided to do an annual reunion — location chosen by me this year 👍. We were all very pleased with this VRBO on Pelican Lake. It gave us a gorgeous property to relax, chat, reconnect, & play games — with golf, shopping, mini golf, and bars in close proximity.

Beautiful beach area but water too shallow for boat or real swimming! Family enjoyed our time together!!

Thanks Olga and Dave for sharing your lovely lake home with us. The house, the grounds and the beach were all great. The kayaks and paddle board were favorites with the grandkids. The sunsets were awesome too. We had an absolutely wonderful week. It couldn’t have been better.

We've been renting different places every year around the Brainerd Lakes area for 7 years. This is the first place we decided to rent again next year. Everything was great. The smart TV's were easy to use and had all our favorite apps. The deck speakers were so nice! The beach and grass and firepit and water were super! Beds and bathrooms and steam room were a hit. Everything was just really nice and the grill in the porch was used a bunch. highly recommend.

The beach and lake were amazing.
If you have 14 people as we did house is very small but if weather is great and can spend on beach it works great.
It was a clean home but bedrooms had beds squeezed in them in front of closets.master bedroom was fantastic!
Not a lot of storage as many closets and cupboards were locked with owners possessions. Lived out of suitcases for a week.
I would go back if we had less people as house and beach were great but too crowded with 8 adults and 6 kids.

Home was clean and had everything we needed. Owners responded quickly to all of our questions. Beautiful beach and grassy area to spend time outside as well.

Olga and Dave have a beautiful house on lake pelican that they are very kind to share with VRBOers. Perfect spot for a quiet family vacation. Highly recommended

Our group consisted of three young families with kids age 5-13. The beach was amazing for all. It’s truly a sandy beach with very few rocks and no vegetation (not good for fishing if that’s what you’re looking for but there are other small lakes near by) Also know the sandbar goes out quite far. The water is 1-4ft deep for 100 yards or more past the dock, again great for young ones to swim. We had one windy day creating large ocean like waves, and once the wind died down it was calm and peaceful. Amazing star views, great fire pit by the water, and Olga was impressively responsive. Hope you enjoy it as much as us!

The location is hard to beat. Beautiful, quiet spot with a generous sandy beach and clear water. A short drive into Nisswa for shops/restaurants. Ample space for our 3 generation family. Compared to other VRBOs we’ve stayed at, be prepared to bring all of your own things - from paper towels to olive oil, ketchup to bath towels. Owner was highly responsive.

We had my 2 daughter husbands and 2 granddaughters each ages 21 to 9. I like staying in this area growing up 50 yrs ago we had a cabin a little north on Sanborn Lake. We all agreed that this was the 1st place we stayed where the pictures don’t do justice to the home and beach area. The families loved the paddle board and kayaks and the home fit both families great with all 10 of us. Host’s make easy for checkin.
Beautiful Home Great Time we won’t forget.
Thank You.

We had an excellent time on the lake beach and relaxing.

Property was great. Description says sleeps up to 15, but that would be difficult to do. First floor has a nice kitchen/common area, but I can't imagine 15 people hanging out there all at once!
Nice little den area in the walkout basement for extra people to hang out in.

Great property!
We stayed here for a second time and throughly enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the beach area! Only suggestion I’d offer is the check in time (5pm) is a little on the later side (with small children) but it all worked out and owners were accommodating through it all!

Best place for a family
Could not have asked for a better trip. Host was very responsive and kind. Home was impeccable. Clean and had everything you need. We are already ready to book for next year!

Beautiful sunsets!
We enjoyed our stay on Pelican Lake! Their beautiful lake home was very clean and well organized! The grandchildren loved the sandy beach, their water toys and the shallow water! When traveling from out of state it would have been nice to have the kitchen and bath towels provided! Thank you for a memorable vacation!

Great Property - Spacious Inside and Out
Had a great Memorial Day weekend here. The property is very spacious with lots of things to do. The weather wasn’t cooperative for us to spend too much time at the water but we enjoyed the screened in porch and family room area during our stay and still had a nice time. Highly recommend!

Fun memories!
We rented this house for my mom‘s 50th birthday party. It was a rainy weekend but that didn’t stop us from having fun! Property was beautiful and very well-kept. Definitely would recommend this place to people traveling to the area. Would stay again!

Wish we booked our stay for longer!
My family and I spent the weekend with another family and had a blast! More than enough room for four adults and three kids (ages 4, 3, and 1). The kitchen was great to cook for everyone, and the beds were comfy.
The property was fun in the winter, and I can only imagine how beautiful the views are in the summer. All of us wished we booked our stay for longer!

Beautiful cabin well laid out for a group.
We highly recommend this cabin. We lived the steam room, all the bathrooms and the comfy beds. We felt right at home and the host spared no time responding to our few questions.
