The location of the property is fantastic, with short walks to the beach, cafes and other local amenities. The property is also a wonderful size for a group holiday and the views, especially from the attic room, are spectacular.
The property itself is in need of being updated. It is clear that the property hasn’t been decorated for some years and some of the furnishings need to be replaced. However, our main concern with the property is the cleanliness. In particular, the kitchen did not meet satisfactory standards. Our biggest concern was that we found nuts in the kitchen. Two of our party have severe nut allergies, which meant we had to thoroughly clean anything we used. We feel this needs to be addressed for future guests with food allergies. Many of the utensils etc were also visibly dirty when we got them out to cook with and the kitchen itself needs a deep clean. In particular, the kitchen bin was thick with food remnants and there was an odour coming from it.
Whilst the other rooms were cleaner, unfortunately many of our party found rubbish in their rooms (sweet wrappers, cotton buds and sanitary wrappers). If we were to stay at this property again, we need to be assured that something had been done to improved the standards

Loved the size of the rooms downstairs, loved the car parking, loved having different spaces to retreat too.
Loved the area and the bay! Super friendly!
Didn't like that there wasn't a toilet on the main living floor, the bedrooms need blackout blinds, it.was light at 4am!, it's very clear that the house was a B&B and that doesn't really work as a big house. No sink in the kitchen, no crockery in the kitchen, no glasses! The lower flat is completely separate this did divide our group and made them feel a little left out.
It needs a bit of TLC in areas as appear to be touched out in many area.
All beds were just doubles, plenty of space for some king beds.

Had plenty of room for the extended family to stay
Property was looking in need of a bit of a refurb on the exterior and a few little jobs in the bedrooms but we liked the homely feel of the place
