Relax on the private terrace or stroll down to the center with its cafes along the lake including the best Gelato in lake Como, its restaurants and small shops, grocery and supermarket, everything reachable on foot. Even the beautiful man made sandy beach in Lido di Lenno is just 5 minutes ‘walk from the apartment, there you can spend unforgettable days with your children or go for dinner in a unique atmosphere. The public free beach it’s also only 2 minutes away from the apartment and offers a relaxing garden where you can lay in the sun or reach the water for a swim, bar/cafè is right in the same place. Bank and post office at walking distance. Market day every Tuesday, one step from the apartment, to enjoy a typical atmosphere. Right here in Lenno you will have the possibility to visit Villa Balbianello and its wonderful garden, Villa Carlotta is reachable in 5 minutes ‘drive, Bellagio and Varenna are also very close and you will enjoy a pleasant boat trip to reach them, Menaggio is just 10 minutes by Car from here, Como about 30 minutes and you can reach them by boat, fast-boat or bus. The scenery walk called “Green Way del Lago” crosses Lenno and you can start from here this leisurely and pleasant hike through ancient villages, churches, villas and gardens, by breathtaking views.

We enjoyed our stay at Ambra's house. However, the first night the heating was not on despite very low temperatures outside and our baby caught a cold. If you have a baby or small child think about bringing along a blanket/carpet for the floor or a chair. Furthermore, we were surprised by the cleaning fee which have to be paid extra in cash at the arrival. When booking something we expect that the cleaning fee is included.

We had a wonderful time staying in this apartment. Its much larger than it appears on the photographs and is beautifully decorated and obviously loved. It is very well appointed and immaculately clean. We spent many a happy hour sipping drinks on the balcony with views of the lakes and mountains
The location was perfect, with a few really nice restaurants a 5 minute walk away, some on the edge of the lake. The ferry terminal is only a short walk from the apartment (max 10 mins) and the terminal is very well served by boats to all the major lake locations/ attractions and with Lenno being half way up the lake its a really great location that makes eveything within reach.
Ambra (the host) is wonderful - avaliable for advice when needed but never obtrusive. We loved chatting about the best places around the lake or to eat and she really helped make our short trip into Milan, when the weather was poor, easy with some great advice on where to park to jump the short train in.
We loved Lake Como and we will be back. We would stay here in heartbeat - my worry is that its just never avaiable as it's so good!

The apartment of Ambra is very large and spotless clean, newly decorated. As shown on the photo's. Ambra is living downstairs and available for all information. She is very kind and gives a lot of valuable advice, such as restaurant bookings, excursions, bus and boat advice. The apartment is less than 5 minutes walk to the Lungolago, and had a private parking spot, which is invaluable at Lake Como. During day time it is hard to park anywhere at Lake Come, so take the bus or boat, both in a very short walking distance of te apartment. Lenno is a beautiful small town. Lenno has the perfect balance between not being too crowdy but has a lot to offer. We felt it was the nicest village to stay in at Lake Como. Close to everything. If you fancy a swim one day head to the lovely free beach (with inexpensive beach bar) of Porlezza, only 25 min by car (and plenty of free parking space). We highly recommend staying at Ambra's place to experience true Italian hospitality!

Ambra is just the most incredible host, and the apartment was absolutely beautiful. We have stayed at many VRBO’s and this was by far the absolute best! It was clean, spacious, updated, and close to everything. We didn’t need to rent a car and our host, Ambra, was so attentive and kind. Thank you Ambra!!!

We could not have been more pleased with Ambra’s apartment! It was so comfortable and very conveniently located. We didn’t have a car and could walk everywhere! We enjoyed our 5 night stay, exploring Lenno and the mid lake towns. We especially loved the pastry shop for morning coffee and the Gelato shop is the absolute best! Ambra is an absolute wonderful host, it was a pleasure meeting her. She was so helpful and we highly recommend this apartment. Look forward to returning one day!!

Lovely Lenno Apartment
Ambra is a wonderful host and her apartment is beautiful- especially the bathroom, it’s been designed impeccably with lots of storage! The apartment Is close to the main square, restaurants, c10 bus route, pharmacy and more! If it helps others, we used the Rome to Rio app a lot to navigate our way about with buses and boats and it was very accurate.
We’d definitely recommend Ambra’s apartment, the only thing I would have loved would have been a portable air con unit or additional fan for bedrooms as there was only one in the whole apartment and with the heat wave it was hard to sleep. We gave the fan to the kids who slept very well!

Loved Lenno
My husband, my grown daughter and I had the distinct privilege of being guests in Ambra’s home. She was a gracious accommodating hostess. The property was lovely. It was comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated. We particularly enjoyed a glass of wine in the evenings on the balcony with a view of the mountains overlooking the lake. Her property is centrally located with easy ferry access to the larger towns such as Bellagio, Varenna and Menaggio which were teaming with people. Ambra’s location in Lenno was a peaceful respite at the end of the day tucked away from the crowds. Lenno is a small quaint town with a handful of good restaurants whereby everything is accessible on foot. We did not rent a car and had no problem getting around town or elsewhere. Rest assured Ambra will assist you in reaching your destinations. A helpful hint, if you are not renting a car and arriving in Como by train, I would recommend you arrange for a taxi to meet you at the train station and drive you to Lenno. While you can take the bus to Lenno we discovered that it only runs every 2 hours on Sundays and they were very full.

We had a wonderful stay here! Great location, beautiful views, cozy yet modern flat. The cherry on top of our stay was Ambra! As soon as we arrived, Ambra made us feel right at home and offered lots of great recommendations on places to eat and where to site see. We’d definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Lake Como in the future!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Ambras Appartement. Die Lage ist super, die Wohnung sehr geräumig, sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Das einzige, was man ja nach Bedürfnis vermissen könnte, ist das Essen auf dem Balkon - zumindest, wenn man nicht nur zu zweit verreist. Ab 3 Personen wird es etwas eng. Ambra ist eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Danke!!

Die Fewo hat eine tolle Lage, man braucht kein Auto mehr, was am Comer See echt ein Vorteil ist, von Lenno aus kommt man mit dem Boot (Tages- Mehrtageskarten) überall hin, Ambra ist super nett, die Wohnung ist riesig, sehr sauber und hat alles was man braucht, Leute mit leichtem Schlaf benötigen Ohrstöpsel. dafür ist man an einem perfekten Ort um den Comer See kennenzulernen

Sehr nett und schön aber leider zu laut
Ambra hat uns toll empfangen und war eine sehr nette Gastgeberin. Das Apartment ist sehr sauber und gemütlich.
Allerdings war es uns leider viel zu laut. Die Motorräder rasen an der Wohnung vorbei und das hat uns immer wieder aus dem Schlaf geholt auch mit Fenster zu. Sonst ist Lenno eine tolle Stadt und alles ist von dem Apartment gut zu erreichen. Vielen Dank für den netten Aufenthalt.

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr schön, sauber, angenehm und gut eingerichtet, wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Empfang durch Ambra war äußerst herzlich und zuvorkommend, wir haben selten eine so freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieterin erlebt. Herzlichen Dank nochmal dafür! Die Vermieterin Ambra , war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Wohnung frisch renoviert und sehr sauber. Liebevoll eingerichtet.Sehr viel Platz und viele Schränke und Ablagemöglichkeiten.
Eine tolle Aussicht vom Balkon. Sehr Zentral gelegen.
Es liegt an einer zeitweise befahrenen Strasse, mit geschlossenem Fenster schläft sich besser. War aber trotz Hochsommer gut auszuhalten.
Es war sehr schön, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

We couldn't have chosen any better. Beautiful, spacious, spotlessly clean property just a five minute walk away from the shores of magical Lake Como.
Within the village are a handful of good restaurants and attractions while regular ferries give you access to all the lake has to offer, including gems such as Bellagio and Varenna.
And we've never found an owner as lovely, helpful and attentive as Ambra. She is a mine of information and whenever she sees you she asks if everything is OK and if there is anything you need. What a treasure and one of the reasons we had such a magical, family holiday.

Beautiful apartment with outstanding owner.
We were extremely happy with this apartment in Lenno, Italy. It was spacious, modern, clean with a beautiful balcony for afternoon relaxing! The on-site owner, Ambra, could not have been more helpful. A truly wonderful person who greeted us upon arrival and ensured our visit met all our expectations. The location is ideal as a base for exploring Lake Como. We parked our car in the designated spot in front of the apartment and didn't move it until we left as we could walk, bus or ferry to wherever we wanted to go. The bus, ferry, grocery store, laundry mat are all only a short walk from the apartment. The apartment is perfect for a couple (like us) or for a family of four. For my fellow English speakers, Ambra's English was excellent. This really was one of the best experiences we have had with VRBO.

Nice, clean place in the right localisation with a very helpful host
This place is very clean and comfortable. We have found everything we needed. The parking lot is a very valueable thing in the crowded area like Como lake. The location is very suitable and close to center where you can admire lakeside and take a boat to Bellagio or Varena. We left our car and did everyting on foot or by means of nearby boats. Ambra was a wonderful host. Her remarks and information made our stay easier and well planned. Thank You once again Chris, Bozena and boys Igor and Tymon

With Lenno being very central on the lake it was a good place to explore from. When you buy the mid section day pass (15 euros per adult) for the lake ferries you get the chance to visit 3 or 4 beautiful old lakeside towns and makes a very good day.We also visited the Fox center in Switzerland where you can shop and swim and relax on their section of lake.Best to drive to Como, park at the station and get the train 3 stops.(train about 7 euros per adult return. We also spent a day in Como which was very nice but did seem very busy.If you want to visit Milan takes Ambras advice on where to park and get the underground into the city.
