About this apartment rental

Unit #4 is a spectacular family-friendly unit. The bedrooms are situated on opposite ends of the condo for added privacy. The ceilings are vaulted with wood beams and large custom windows bringing in lots of natural light. The unit has high-end finishes including tile floors and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is fully-functional. It has a gas range, microwave, dishwasher and full-sized refrigerator and is stocked with utensils and pots and pans. Some basic condiments, spices and coffee are provided. Additionally, the kitchen has a large breakfast bar with stools. From the kitchen is the living area which has ample seating and a flat-screen t.v. with Dish TV. There is also wireless internet. Off the living space is the dining nook. It is accentuated by a chandelier and large windows with views onto Main Street. At this end of the condo is a bedroom with a double and twin bed and a private bathroom. A second bathroom is in a common area outside the second bedroom which has a queen bed. Each of the bathrooms have tiled walk-in showers, granite vanities and great water pressure with instant hot water. Towels, soaps and a hair dryer are provided. This unit is a fantastic option for couples or families with kids.
Mt. Joseph Lodge was the former home of an art museum and has amazing character and location. Sit on the covered deck and enjoy the sounds of Big Bend Creek and the local deer and birds that call the grounds home. The large landscaped grounds just off Main Street Joseph have beautiful landscaping and gorgeous Wallowa Mountain views. Relax and read a book on the gazebo or barbecue and the patio. The location is unbeatable; it is in walking distance to restaurants, shopping, art galleries, a grocery store and more, while still feeling exclusive.

Unfortunately, the Vrbo app was not working well, and I never received check-in information for my stay. I attempted to contact the host, but as I was calling from an international number, it was blocked and unable to go through. Luckily there were other guests still up and about, and they helped me contact the host, and he got me the door code in a few seconds. The apartment is large and well-appointed (especially the big open kitchen!), and the master bed very soft and comfortable. I would have enjoyed a more extended stay.

Cozy condo/lodge unit convenient to downtown Joseph and Wallowas!

A group of four backcountry skiers needed lodging the night before our hut trip into Wallowas and found this place. It's comfortable and well-appointed and right on the main street in Joseph. It had everything we needed to prepare a nice dinner and then get a good night's rest. Despite this, it's quite affordable and Kirk, the host, is very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. Highly recommended!

We stayed here with my mother-in-law to celebrate her 101st birthday. It is a beautiful condo with lots of wood, vaulted ceilings and high end finishes. The stairs leading up to the condo are wide and sturdy with handrails and a non-slip surface. Great separation of bedrooms with two bathrooms. The kitchen had what we needed to cook meals. You can’t beat the location on Main St in Joseph, Oregon.

Great little place

Comfortable and clean little place for our family to stay overnight in Joseph. The heat in one of the rooms did not work, but the property manager responded quickly with a space heater that we could use (which was enough to keep us comfortable ). Only nice addition would be access to a DVD player or online streaming services. We were in for the night by 6pm with two little ones and were hoping to watch a family friendly movie together before bed, but the cable options did not having anything suitable for kids. Overall, still a great stay and we would happily return.

My parents who are in their late 80’s and I stayed in unit #4. We enjoyed it! It is clean, comfortable and very nicely finished. There is a bedroom with a queen bed and a bathroom right across the hall from it. On the opposite side of the unit is a bedroom with a full size and a single bed. There is a bathroom in that bedroom, with a toilet and shower made private by a sliding door, and a sink/vanity/mirror in the room. We slept very comfortably there and would love to rent there again.It was a little tough lugging all the bags up the stairs so it might be important to know that #4 it is an upstairs unit (I believe the pictures show that). The stairs are interior and there are handrails on both sides of the stairs. My almost 90 year old parents were able to make it up and down the stairs without difficulty.

I liked the creek in the back of the property. We saw five beautiful deer. The inside of the property was very nice and clean. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone. The one bed could of used a foam rate on to of the mattress to give it more support. I did use the fan to cool down at night. It’s a really nice comfortable place.

a bit crowded for 5 singles but a roll-a-cot behind the eating table solved that problem right quick - Amenities are very nice (coffee maker needs to be replaced with one that shuts off automatically !! AND the door code pad is troublesome to activate) We all liked it a lot … had a ball

You couldn't ask for a more beautiful place to stay in Joseph. This unit was light and bright with brand new furnishings. Great location right in the middle of town. The landscape surroundings were immaculate. There is a run off stream right behind the property where you could hear the water with the windows open. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen had all the amenities needed. We really liked how the two bedrooms were on either ends of the unit with each having an access to a bathroom. The living room was comfortable. The kitchen table only could seat 4 which was fine with us since we only had 4. But normally we have 6 in our family so that wouldn't have worked out if we had more of us visit. Overall, this is the place to stay in Joseph. Beautiful lodging in an amazing little town.
