Lovely apartment…reminds me of a French Quarter apt in New Orleans. The pool is wonderful.
I would definitely stay here again.

This place was like staying at a friends home. The furnishings and finishes were amazing and the location was very private. Having bikes was a plus, once we parked we did not need our car the entire stay. Highly recommend!

The little guest house was very charming and cozy. Perfect for a weekend getaway. The owner Mary Jane was so pleasant to work with. Loved the way she took the time and gave us a welcome call. Wish we could have spent more time there but we will definitely be back.

My sister and I enjoyed staying in the Guest Cottage.
It had everything we needed along with having an interesting history, amazing pool and being in a great quiet location. Mary Ellen was friendly and personable!
Looking forward to returning soon.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay here! Mary Ellen was always available and attentive to our needs, couldn't have been better!

Our stay in this lovely cottage was very enjoyable and relaxing. My husband and I stayed in the upstairs apartment and my daughter and her family stayed downstairs. The house was large enough for all of us to have our own space. It was beautifully decorated and yet very comfortable. The entire property was clean and very well cared for. We all enjoyed the pool and my daughter and her children loved being able to ride the bikes into town for coffee and sweets. Mary Ellen is a wonderful host and is always ready to help.

This was perfect for two people. It was a short walk to a pretty white sand beach with no crowds. We basically had the beach to ourselves late May early June. The upstairs apartment had a little deck overlooking a beautiful back yard and pool. All the trees made it feel secluded.

Lots of charm, extremely clean, super comfortable bed. Ill be back again!

Mary Ellen, the owner, made us feel welcome. The cottage was in a great location and we felt at home.

Our group included 2 adult couples for a 3-week stay. Renting both the upstairs guest house and main house provided us with lots of space, privacy, and the entire property just for us. We really enjoyed breakfasts and dinners cooked in, the grills, and the pool. Super location in quiet neighborhood near to everything - shopping, restaurants, grocery, beaches, and New Orleans. The guest quarters is much more spacious than pictures show. Mary Ellen had great communication and made us all feel welcome. Highly recommend!

This historic Creole cottage was one of my best vacation rentals. The cottage retained the historic features while having modern convenience. It was extremely well managed and equipped with nice touches such as first aid kit and many more.

The property is very cozy… just what we were looking for. It is equipped with everything needed. The owners are easy to communicate with and also very accommodating. It was a pleasure renting from them. We will definitely return for another visit.

This property is very lovely and charming. It is a very comfortable space in a quiet neighborhood, yet convenient to all that Bay St. Louis has to offer. I had family staying in the larger home so we were able to enjoy the entire property. The guest quarters offered a nice space for me and my dog to relax when we needed a little quiet time. This property is as described and even better than the pictures convey.

Mary Ellen was an excellent hostess. Upon arrival, there was a lack of communication from her assistant upon how to access the property however, a quick phone call to Mary Ellen and we had all the information we needed to access the unit. This apartment is large enough for two people and we were pleasantly surprised at just how large it is. We were in town for business and found the internet service to be reliable. The downfall about this property is the bed. It's a full-sized bed so if you are expecting a queen or king, keep this in mind. Also, when we took hot showers, the smoke alarm went off due to the steam. Those were the only drawbacks and while we're accustomed to a king-sized bed, we made the best of it and still enjoyed our stay. The property is very well-maintained and was very clean upon our arrival. My husband and I both agree that we would enjoy staying here again.

My partner and I were looking for a relaxing weekend to celebrate our anniversary, and we found the perfect VRBO here.
It was probably one of the most charming properties we've ever stayed at. Well appointed and comfortable. We found ourselves spending more time at the property than we anticipated (rather than going out), because it was so relaxing.
The location is excellent -- totally walkable to the beach or downtown. Also, NOLA is only an hour drive, and Gulfport/Biloxi is an hour the other direction! So lots of options if you're up for an adventure.
Only minor snafu: I wasn't able to receive text messages from the host the day of or check in -- but she was great about using alternate contact methods t (phone/email) to ensure we had everything we needed.
Incredible experience, and would absolutely rent again.

We fell in love with this property. The process with the rental, check in and communication with the owner was super easy. The apartment was quaint, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed having access to bikes. We rode to the beach and to the downtown area. We also enjoyed sitting by the pool, which was clean and well maintained. We hope to rent this location again in the future or even possibly the main house with our kids!

The perfect weekend retreat
Staying in the guest quarters in this lovely historic home was just the relaxing getaway I needed. I went to Bay St. Louis to explore and enjoy the beach, but honestly, I could've spent the entire time in this charming apartment and been perfectly happy. The host was very communicative, and check-in/check-out was a breeze.

My husband I stayed at this delightful guest cottage for five days and I never wanted to leave. It’s a genuine Bay St. Louis experience. The Warner’s have thought of everything! I appreciated the welcome call and then meeting them later in the week. They are a delight! This little haven is like a tree house filled with nature and beautiful sunlight! Every detail has been thought of, just show up and enjoy! Stay here and be reminded again of what a wonderful world we live in filled with delightful people who share such magical places with us! We will return! Gratitude!
