The house is well appointed and very comfortable. It is very clean, has plenty of towels, and the owner was super friendly and welcomed our dog. The house is convenient to a number of restaurants, a grocery and the streetcar line.

My friends and I headed to JazzFest for a few days to celebrate my 40th birthday. Cindy's home was lovely and comfortable enough to accommodate all 6 of us well, and the backyard was a particularly delightful space to enjoy coffee and plan the day every morning.
The home itself was clean & well stocked with anything and everything we needed. Cindy even made camp chairs and coolers available to us for the festival! If we had any questions, she was a phone call away.
The location is excellent--we could walk to Rouses (the local grocery store) and the streetcar easily; also lots of restaurants on Magazine were quick to access and offered delicious food. We felt safe and well cared for the entirety of our stay. I would stay at this property again in half a heartbeat!

House was lovely. Only thing was the listing had mentioned a hot tub which wasn’t there.

We had a great time at Cindy’s home tucked in near Magazine St. The beds were comfortable, lots of seating for our group of 6, the kitchen well stocked and the backyard was a great oasis to spread out nd enjoy the weather. As a larger group we also appreciated the ample towels and storage available in the large main bathroom. Thank you for a great stay!

Nice place and easy walk to lots of shopping and restaurants in garden district. A bit of trek to downtown and parts east, but the distance is worth it for the quiet and atmosphere!

Wonderful back yard. Dog friendly. Usual floor plan with kitchen on the first floor, but workable. It's close to Magazine St and parks. Hostess very accommodating!

I love New Orleans and went to undergrad there. This is a great place to stay while you and your group enjoy all that New Orleans has to offer. We were a party of 6 with a service dog. It was perfect for us. It was clean, safe and located centrally to where we wanted to go (uptown and the quarter). Our first dinner was only a short 10 minute walk to Magazine street. Cindy recommended La Petite and it was wonderful! The first floor of the unit is the kitchen and bathroom with shower and the second floor is the living room with a dining table, a huge 2nd bathroom with shower, tub, and washer/dryer, and 3 bedrooms (with 3 queen beds). The unit is in the back of the house and decorated with Cindy's beautiful artwork! We were there for a long weekend in December, so we didn't get to enjoy the backyard as much as I would have liked, but it was absolutely gorgeous. It was no fuss check in and check out. I highly recommend this place. And if I come back with a big group of people, I would definitely love to come back to this place. Thanks Cindy for all everything!

Cindy was amazing from the point of booking all the way through the trip. The pictures of the property led to initial confusion about the actual lay out of the property, all the rooms and common areas other than the kitchen are upstairs. The property was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay very much. All the art work is amazing!! Thank again to Cindy, one of the very best hosts we have stayed with.

A great place to experience the atmosphere and ambiance of old New Orleans. This well appointed home is a zen like oasis tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The backyard courtyard was a private and well maintained haven for rest and relaxation after long days of sightseeing. Immaculately clean, modern furnishings, and the owner supplied every need from soaps and shampoos to kitchen gear. If you want a taste of how it feels to be surrounded by the charm and history of an original yet eclectic New Orleans neighborhood, this well maintained home and garden is the place to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our recent visit and highly recommend!

We met up with our family to stay at this NOLA hidden gem and it was a great experience! We loved the location (tucked away in a neighborhood close to many hot spots) and there was plenty of room for the 5 of us and our 3 pups. The backyard space was cute and perfect for hanging out and letting the dogs blow off steam. The host Cindy was very welcoming and available whenever we needed her, but we still had plenty of privacy. I highly recommend this place if you need space for people and animals!

The property was very nice and as described. It was big enough for everyone to spread out. Our dogs enjoyed the yard and the property was in an area where I felt safe. I loved the fact that there were tons of towels, pillows, blankets, etc and everything was high qualify. I think the owner lives on the property and has dogs, but we did not hear or see her, so if you are concerned about not having privacy, don’t be. We never had trouble parking and parked in front of the house every day. We will definitely be back.

Great property for a family—dogs and kids were comfortable. Easy to get to the bus and streetcar and lots of great restaurants nearby. Beautiful, inviting courtyard.

This location was located in the garden district which was accessible to everything by bus $3 tour bus or uber. You can drive as well and all with in 10-15 minutes. I enjoy going to Bourbon street and Canal street but dont like to stay in that area so this location is perfect for me and my Siblings/spouses. My family loved the beautiful area and the house was absolutely gorgeous. Mrs. Cindy is a lovely lady and she does everything possible to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I have stayed at her home twice now and will continue to book for her house everytime I want a taste of Orleans!

The house was very clean, well stocked with plenty of towels, cookware, spices and anything you need. Cindy was really communicative, helpful and super accommodating! She is a fantastic host and artist! Inside the house is like an art gallery with her beautiful work hanging in every room. A true New Orleans vibe! Wonderful home in perfect location. Enough space for 3 couples in town for Jazz Fest. Walking distance to Magazine St (shops and restaurants) and St. Charles. Home is clean, quiet and well appointed. AC worked well and the beds were very comfortable. Cindy was very responsive and helpful prior to our arrival. We did not have any problems during our stay. We would stay here again!

Cindy was a fabulous host and her lovely home was perfect for two couples and two big dogs. The neighborhood was quiet, and the backyard very private. My favorite thing about our stay was how accommodating and easy Cindy was. My dogs love to be outside and are very active - Cindy gave us the run of the yard and we were able to manage our pups so there was no interaction with her pups. Though it is a two unit home with Cindy as an onsite host, we never heard her and she was very respectful of our privacy.
The house is as advertised, very clean, very well maintained, and comfortable. The backyard and patio are lovely and very well kept - we loved spending time enjoying the outdoor space.
The location is fabulous with only a quick walk to Magazine St. for access to the bus route, shops, and restaurants.
I would highly recommend this property, especially to anyone traveling with dogs. It will be our first choice when we return. We’ve stayed in three other locations in the area throughout the past few years, and this one is our favorite.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Some friends and myself stayed two nights at Cindy’s property. We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and was just as described online. Perfect walking distance to great food and local shops. Definitely recommend!

The property is spacious. The kitchen was stocked with spices and dishware. The owner, Cindy, lives on property in a different unit. The pathway to the property is a little narrow, but doable. The backyard is spacious and fenced in. It is perfect if you are traveling with your pets. There is natural wildlife in the backyard like frogs, lizards, etc.

This was the second time we have rented this home in the last two years. It is ideally located with Magazine street shopping and dining only two blocks away. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely and safe. The property is located near the corner of Magazine and Napoleon Ave.
The house has an incredible backyard that makes it special. It is unique to be in the middle of a city and have a private sanctuary with birds chirping and squirrels playing in the trees.
The property is well appointed and cared for. And Cindy always makes us feel at home. She is also responsive and dedicated to making the visit a nice one. She is a gem and an excellent artist. The house is filled with her artwork.
We love the place so much we booked again for next year. It’s the ideal way to enjoy NOLA for us. It takes about 15 minutes by Uber to get to the French Quarter - so the craziness of that part of the city is easily available but far enough away to fully escape it. We personally enjoy Uptown and walking Audubon park, shopping and the fun restaurants on Magazine street. This place is a gem.
