We had 18 family members meet for a float trip on the Buffalo River. We rented the top two floors of the Lodge. It was beautiful and adequately met our needs. It was very clean and the check in process was easy. Communication was great and they answered all our questions. Very well stocked kitchen. The pull out sofa beds were futons and really could not hold two adults, but we used them for kids and one adult. The toilets are a bit low for the elderly in our group, so I might suggest installing some grab bars by the toilets and for the showers. The step up onto the front porch was also a bit tall for one of our elderly family members who was recovering from some recent health issues (they wanted to be part of the family gathering). We had renters in the lower portion of the house both nights we stayed. It was two different parties. Both of those parties were a bit confused by our presence and I had to assist them to understand they were renting the lower level and we had the rest of the house. It was fine, but more communication might be needed to let the parties know that someone else is renting a portion of the home. Overall, it is 5 stars!!

We had 10 adults staying here for two nights. We enjoyed canoeing one day down the Buffalo and relaxing by the firepit at night. 3 rooms on main level (2 kings, 1 queen) and 2 rooms upstairs (2 kings + 2 twin beds in each room upstairs too). Nice porch to sit and watch the sun set over the trees. Really had a nice time. If there were any suggestions I would say bring kleenex and toilet paper (the TP was some discount corporate brand) and maybe a big bath towel (the bathroom towels were on the smaller size and fairly broken in by previous renters). Those are little things though and the property and atmosphere there was very nice.

The lodge was beautiful and extremely clean. The owner was quick to respond to any questions I had as well as very accommodating. We asked to check in a couple of hours early and she arranged for that to be possible. The property was beautiful. My only complaint was the AC. We are from Louisiana so we are very used to the heat, however when we sleep we want it cold. The upstairs rooms were very warm (understandably so) so we turned the AC down to 68. Every time we would leave and come back it was back on 70. The owner was wirelessly turning it up when we left. I understand electric bills are crazy expensive right now but we paid a lot of money and didn’t want to air to be changed unless we were changing it. Other than that it was a great vacation spot!

This house was large enough to hold all 17 of us! Very comfortable and beautiful scenery. The living room furniture has definitely seen its better days - should really be replaced! Other than that, this was a great place to stay.
