About this apartment rental
Lakeside Condo is located in the heart of the Black Hills. You will be close to all the area attractions like the 1880 Train, Mickelson Bike Trail, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Monument and Custer State Park. Historic Deadwood, Spearfish Canyon and Sturgis are all just a short drive away. The property is located in a gated area that has its own private lake. The area is surrounded on 3 sides by land belonging to the National Forest which provides an ideal location for those enthusiasts wishing to ride ATVs, snowmobiles or go hunting for small and large game. Are you into nature walks? No problem there are several Forest Service roads you can hike. Or you can venture to Black Elk Mountain (Harney Peak) hiking to the Lookout Tower, hike the canyon wall at Hells Canyon or climb to the top of Samelius Mountain. The possibilities or endless.
The Condo is located 11 miles west of Hill City appx 1.2 miles is on a gravel road. The seclusion of the Condo is a great place to start your morning with breakfast on the deck while watching for deer; then finish the day allowing the kids to roam while you unwind where you began your morning. Take a walk around the lake, bring your fishing poles and catch some trout. Bring a book and disconnect from the hustle and bustle.
The 900 sq ft condo has a fully stock kitchen, one bathroom, three seperate sleeping rooms, all with queen beds. In addition, the unit has a full-size Serta futon. SmartTV and WIFI internet are also provided. Bath towels are provided for up to 8 guest.
So much to do, so little time. You will want to come back.

We enjoyed our stay. Barb was very quick to help us when we had a small hiccup with our code to get in (thank god for ring doorbell!) When we booked we knew our lodging would be a little bit of a drive from the things we had planned (reptile gardens/bear country), but the drive was very nice and the roads were good! We would recommend/stay here again!

This location was amazing. It was perfect for our family - 6 people, 4 adults and 2 kids, ages 12 and 8. It is a very quiet, peaceful which is nice after a busy day of doing fun things. Everything we needed to have an enjoyable stay was at the condo. The deck is a treat and we spent a lot of time outside. The hosts were easy to work with and communicated quickly. We had a wonderful time and we’d love to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay! It was perfect for our family and was an easy drive to all the sightseeing attractions of the Black Hills. Everything was very clean, it was wonderful to have the amenities of a full kitchen and the deck had a great view that was relaxing. It was great to have a home base for the week to go back to at the end of each day. I would highly recommend for others to stay here!

We stayed for 4 nights and had everything we really needed. The cell phone reception was "spotty" at best and having one bathroom for 4 adults was a bit challenging, but we made do. The setting was peaceful and quiet. Loved the photographs of the Black Hills area which were displayed throughout the condo. I would definitely recommend it for people who like to stay "off the beaten path" and don't mind a short drive into Hill City for groceries, etc. It is close to major attractions in the Black Hills. Our hostess was quick to reply to all questions and provided us with excellent suggestions.

Quite, wildlife throughput the property. Hot showers for everyone and we had 7 people in our group.
Less than 0.5 mile down the gravel road to trail access. Great for slower, inexperienced riders.

We enjoyed the location and stay. The house had some issues. Most of the outlets didn't work (mostly upstairs outlets), the house had a very strong odor of moth balls that just wouldn't go away, the stove heat light was telling us it was on the entire trip which was fine but made us kept second guessing leaving the house without issues. The house did have a lot of stocked items like shampoo/conditioner and kitchen items that was very nice. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous, the house is NOT on the water though. Yiu can barely see the water. The pictures online are misleading. This property is facing trees and woods not water.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of space for five of us and the property was well stocked. We have AT&T cellular service and did lose signal just outside of Hill City on the way to the cabin, however, the WiFi works great. I suggest entering your destination into your gps when you know you have signal before arriving and before leaving the property to go to your next destination. The property is well located near local attractions and the views behind the cabin are beautiful.

We had a great time at Lakeside Condo. It is nestled in by a private gate with lots of scenery and space. The kids enjoyed watching the large flocks of turkey each day and the deer that would roam the property. So close to the wilderness and fun in Hill City.

extremely clean and everything supplied well for a nice stay .very quiet and peaceful surroundings . we did have some problems with the water being occasionally discolored and at times very little water pressure . contacted owner who replied immediately who tried to get problem corrected several times best she could from out of town .other than that an excellent place to stay ..

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It was a few miles from Hill City and quiet. Lots of wildlife each morning. All the necessities were there and the home was very clean. Highly recommend this home for a group of friends or a small family. Thanks for sharing this home with us.

Everything was clean and organized. The kitchen was well stocked, and we were most appreciative of this as we were quite a distance from a store. The views from the property were most amazing. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

We had a great time at the cabin. The drive between destinations was scenic and full of wildlife. The gravel road did add time to our trips to and from. The unit is well cared for, clean and comfortable. The owners were very responsive to any questions or concerns via phone, text and email. Our favorite times were on the back deck after dark - oh the stars!

Great Vacation
My group and I rented 3 of the units in this complex and enjoyed all of them greatly! I would highly recommend any of the units we stayed in, and the area they are located is spectacular! We will be back!

Great vacation.
All was great and beautiful scenery. Loved the lake so close and such big tr out!!!! Only issue we had was the stove. Couldn't get the front right burner to work and very hard to regulate the heat on the other burners. Everything else was great. Thank You.

Fall Getaway
Had a relaxing week to de-stress. Intentionally chose this location due to winter weather coming. I have allergic asthma and wanted low allergens, cold, and snow. We received about two feet of snow within 24 hours of arriving. Snowed in for 2 1/2 days but we had prepared to be tucked in for a few days. Enjoyed hiking in the snow and the community. Thanks again Barbara!!!

Our stay was amazing!! I took my mom, aunts and older friend. They loved the place. The view was amazing. My mom and friend even walked to the lake. It had everything we needed and more. It is a perfect distance from all of the places we wanted to go. Would recommend this property to anybody that wants to just relax and "chill" for sure.
