About this cottage rental

Enjoy your vacation relaxing in this fully remodeled 4 bedroom, 2 bath cottage with 2 tiered decks. Seventy-five feet of beachfront makes water perfect for swimming or children playing. 2 Kayaks and 1 paddle boat are available for use. Boat dock available (must use the public launch to launch boat). An open floor plan means that you can enjoy the breathtaking water view from every room. Hardwood floors throughout. Wi-Fi and cable are provided. OFF-STREET parking for up to 5 vehicles.

NOTES: From Labor Day (Sept) - Memorial Day (May) the VRBO website quote is for 4 guests. There is a $25 per guest per night charge after 4 guests. An updated quote will be sent once we receive your request. We are happy to provide a quote in advance if you are uncertain how the calculation will work. Renters insurance is required during your stay if it includes News Year's Eve and must be added prior to booking. THIS CHARGE DOES NOT APPLY DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS OR FOR MEMORIAL AND LABOR DAY WEEKENDS. We tier our pricing during the off-season to allow small groups the opportunity to enjoy a lakefront retreat. Whether it’s a romantic couples weekend, girls get together, or ice fishing this gives a little more flexibility. Fall, Winter, and Spring are the perfect times to enjoy the quiet of spring, autumn leaves, or the snow-filled hillside with family and friends. This manual update IS new and hopefully temporary, we are told that VRBO IS working on it.

Our 2 families rented this beautiful lake house for Memorial Day weekend. The house was just the right size for us, another couple, and our 4 kids, ages 5-8. Kitchen was well stocked and the included boats were great. The kids had a great time just jumping off the dock. It was such a fun weekend, even with a rainy day in the middle. Note - no toiletries are included, so make sure to pack your own (we had, so no issue for us).

This was our group’s 3rd year staying at this property. It’s proximity to SUNY Geneseo makes it a great place to stay to visit college students. Always clean and welcoming! Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful time catching up with girlfriends from high school. Location was great, the view of the full moon over the lake at night was gorgeous. The house was comfortable and large enough to accommodate our big group.

Was perfect for my family to hang out and stay at with our wedding just down the road, the house is very nice and clean. Very easy to contact the owners and an amazing house to be at!

We had a fabulous time with some family and anniversary dinner. Everyone enjoyed the house and the fire pit outback by the water. The home has everything we needed and we would love to go back. If I had to make a suggestion, more lighting on the outside stairwell and some lower deck lighting. Thank you again for your little piece of paradise you shared.

We took full advantage of every amenity, including even a swim on October 1, because it was so warm! There were eight of us and we played games, cooked nice meals, The place is fully equipped with all supplies. we had a campfire, we kayaked ,we did the paddle boat , we sunbathed, and we giggled. We also visited the nearby winery, deer run and a cidery in the town of Lakeville on Saturday. We had breakfast at the diner. Everything was marvelous. The only caveat is several of us were over 75 and a railing at the front entry would have been nice for some. Great hosts. We were pleased!

Clean, comfortable, spacious home right on the lake. Fantastic view of the water. Loved every minute of being there. A first floor bedroom with bathroom close by was perfect for my elderly Mom.

Perfect place for our girls weekend for 6! Everything was clean, there was lots of room to spread out and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make our meals. The host was very responsive and there was a bottle of wine from the local winery and a nice welcome note when we arrived. It was a great weekend!

Incredibly clean, nicely updated, large enough for my extended family of 10 - including 3 children - to gather for a long weekend visit. Gorgeous views right on the lake, a big yard for lawn games and for the kids to play. The host stayed in contact via text, super convenient, and the neighbors were very friendly, too! Huge plus that the grocery store was so close by (10-15 minute drive). Would highly recommend!!!

We had a fantastic time with our family-my husband, my daughter and son in law, and my son and his girlfriend. The property is absolutely beautiful and is true to what you see and read on line. We enjoyed the lake, especially kayaking and fishing, the views and having a fire every night. It was so nice to be able to bring our dog who also had a great time. The owners were great to work with. We hope to stay again some time.

This property was absolutely lovely! Upon check in, the house was very clean and the welcome gift was a great touch. My family of 10 enjoyed the spacious first floor which allowed multiple people to be in the kitchen cooking/making meals, as well as two other lounge areas for people to spread out in. The views from the 2nd story deck overlooking the lake and back yard are fantastic, and is where we spent most of our time outdoors. Our two kiddos and the adults enjoyed the wade in swim area (I recommend bringing water shoes), and the dock was great and fit our boat (17 foot), plus the rental pontoon (22 foot) that we had for 2 days. The area where the house is located is protected from the wind, which made docking easy even on the windiest of days. The host was very responsive to the few questions we had. Highly recommend this property!! Thank you, again, for a memorable vacation!

Christine and Ralph’s home is beautiful, clean and comfortable and has everything you would need for an enjoyable lakeside escape. Our family of 8 adults found the home a perfect size for all of us to be comfortable and Christine was very good about communicating, was flexible and made sure that we had everything we needed.

We had an amazing time! The house was beautiful and perfect for our family. We had 4 adults and three teenagers and we had plenty of room. My daughters loved the peddle boat and the kayaks! The closet full of games was great. We did the puzzle and had a great time. Perfect deck for coffee and the morning and cocktails at night! We can’t wait to go back!!

I don’t know where to begin. We loved it here! As soon as we entered the home we got such great vibes. It is so well decorated with furniture and artwork and spaces and views and architectural touches. Our first night the full moon rose above the trees across the lake. The lights from the other homes made it so picturesque. It was magical. There were so many nooks and crannies to sit in. We listened to music together, did some homework apart, read a book and believe it or not even took a quick dip in the lake even though it was chilly in April. Everything was clean. The beds were comfortable. The showers were great. The owners did a magnificent job of creating a vacation home. We hope to stay here again.
