This, custom home is surrounded by 25 acres of forested hillside, yet it is very near the shopping, dining, and conveniences of Eastsound Village.
Discriminating guests will appreciate the exquisite details, superior finishes, and meticulous construction of The Bridges. It offers four lovely bedrooms, two on each level.
There are two living areas, one upstairs and one downstairs, each with a flat screen TV and fireplaces.
Maybe some in the group will be by the fire to watch movies upstairs while others sit by the downstairs fire to watch a sports event.
The upper covered deck is cozy and welcoming in both rain and shine. Additionally, there is a covered patio and fire pit just outside the lower level. Those cherishing more separation may also choose to close doors at the top of the stairwell, creating quiet separation.
Guests with mobility limitations are advised that there is a series of steps that leads from the parking area through a rockery to reach the upper entry.

Great house, close to town (Eastsound). Had everything we needed except salt and pepper. 1st and 2nd floors are identical floor plans which made it great for 2 couples that each wanted king beds and a little privacy. Owners were unobtrusive but available.

This house is beautiful and so well made. All high-end appliances and finishes. The layout is perfect for 2 families. Love the separated upstairs and downstairs spaces. You are tucked in the trees with a little view of the water. The street traffic below is noisier than we liked but it didn’t keep us from enjoying the balconies. Also didn’t find any coffee or cooking products so make sure to bring your own. They were plenty of utensils and appliances etc though

The house is pretty much perfect. Clean, well decorated/layed out, supplied, organized and location is spot on. You have options to many indoor or outdoor seating to retreat to having your own space or lounging about with who you’re traveling with. All the bedrooms are cozy and are supplied about the same.
The only draw back I saw was getting to the house. Driveway/parking area is below the house. You will need to haul your bags UP to the house. Which is a lot if your staying a week and have 3 bags pre-person. Or have ANY medical limits (at the time I had a broken ankle & was in a boot). Although in the property description it does mention rocky stairs. Take into consideration you’ll be ready for a chilled beverage after you unload the car. And if coming home late…. It’s DARK!
Over all - the house is lovely. I’d stay again. We had everything we needed. It was close to town, not noisy, trees kept you nestled in with wildlife (mamma doe & fawn) walking about property, hummingbirds buzzing and the whispers above from the branches. Very relaxing…. Ya just gotta get there😉

Amazing place. The only negative thing at all was that we typed the address into Waze from the ferry and it had the location fairly wrong, but we found it eventually.

What a beautiful home! Worked as a great spot to sleep, eat and lounge for a long girls weekend on Orcas. Four beautiful bedrooms w comfy beds. Two entire kitchen and living room sections. Could easily accommodate two families instead! Fantastic home w beautiful style and convenient amenities.
There are somewhat steep stairs to enter, so not for the handicapped or terribly infirmed, but totally manageable even w a bum foot. Hosts were great communicators and so lovely!

The property was first rate, well kept, centrally located. There is a good deal of traffic noise during the daytime, as the house is on the main road from the ferry landing to Eastsound, but traffic quieted down in the evening, never affecting our sleep. It was ideal for our group of eight adults. There are two distinct living areas with fully equipped kitchens, as such the upstairs could be rented by one group of four while the downstairs could be another separate group, with the stairs locked off. Or in our case, the stairs were opened and we used the whole house.

This well designed beautiful home was perfect for our family group of 8. The kitchen is well equipped; we had everything we could possibly need- all essentials! Comfortable beds and bedding, outdoor seating on two levels. We enjoyed the fire pit! The location is good, walkable to town but I wouldn’t have been comfortable doing so due to traffic.

This two story, with two apartment like floors were beautifully done with room for everyone to relax inside and out. We cooked all week and the kitchens had everything we needed. We enjoyed walking to town and the Judd Nature Preserve is just a 5 minute walk away. Bring a chair and a book , it’s lovely. It was our first time on Orcas and Eastsound was centrally located to reach all our activities. We hop we’ll be back!!!

We had a fantastic stay and we’re very happy with this home. Perfect for us with the dual levels and very spacious rooms. I highly recommend it for anyone who doesn’t mind stairs coming up from the parking.

This place is great for a family getaway, really nice renovation inside, sturdy doors, great bathrooms and kitchens, big tables for everyone to eat and hang out. Really close to town and don't miss nearby Judd's Cove. Loved it!

Secluded two unit home Near Eastsound, well configured for several couples or two families with both
Beautifully decorated and well appointed with both indoor/outdoor, public/private spaces. Conducive to cooking/dining activities. Several sets of stairs indoors and outdoors. Property is just off main road and walkable to town if you don't mind walking along roadway. Trees and screening makes it feel more secluded. Grills, porches, and outdoor spaces make it easy to enjoy the natural setting. Never did figure out all of the light switches.

Wonderful home and layout for 7 people, the double kitchens were awesome. Clean and comfy, foresty surroundings. Great location to town, grocery store, hiking, and whale watching!

The house is completely stocked with everything in the 2 kitchens. even had a baby crib and high chair! Lovely house. We thought we would be able to walk to town but it was too far for most of our group. Very fun. Thank you!

Amazing, clean house in Orcas.
I can’t say enough good things about how much we loved this property. Let’s start off with how comfortable the beds are. It was like staying in a five-star hotel with the most amazing, soft, comfortable beds you’ve ever stayed in. The remodel that was done was done to absolute perfection. No corners were cut. The craftsmanship was amazing. We really enjoyed the fireplace to warm us on cooler nights and in the mornings. It was great to have two separate kitchens, one upstairs and one downstairs. This allowed our group to prepare meals and not be crowded. The Jetted tub with the skylight upstairs is really a treat.
Location location location. You can’t beat the location of this place. Easy access to everything on orcas and only about seven minutes to the ferry terminal. The house is secluded up on the hill so it makes it feel like you are in your own oasis. The owners are very easy to communicate with and had everything we needed there. I will definitely book this place again and recommend it to all my friends. It was clean when we arrived and you really felt like the house was built just for us to welcome us on our vacation.

Beautiful house that has been well taken care of. It was great for our two families of 4. We enjoyed the porches especially. It was very nice to be so close to East Sound, a great central location on Orcas Island. It was nice walking in to town to go to the bakery. Guests should know there is some mild audible road noise.

Very comfortable two separate houses connected via an internal staircase. Minutes from Eastsound.
Very comfortable beds and seating for our group of 7. Great location. As the listing notes, it’s not for those with mobility challenges. We were able to make it work with our parents in their 70s, but definitely heed that advice. There is a longer staircase from the parking area (though the steps are shallow) before you get to the stone steps that are shown. It was convenient to have 2 kitchens though sometimes finding the needed supplies meant going to the other kitchen. Very responsive hosts.

Our recent visit was wonderful. The house was perfect for our party of seven. The location was close to town but isolated enough to feel in the woods. Highly recommend this property.

Excellent location, great layout for families!
This unique property hosting essentially two stacked units was the perfect fit for our two families vacationing together. The finishes and amenities are wonderful. Super soft towels and cozy beds. Home is located a quick drive or stroll to Main St. but is nestled in the woods for a real getaway feeling. Loved this property!
