This cabana is one of five on the property. Each features all the basics - like a hot water bath, furnished kitchen, and futon - and a large screened porch with hammocks for kicking back. Bring your swimsuits and beach towels - the beach is only 200 yards away from your home! Sunbathing, swimming and more is quick and easy, and you can stroll along Placencia's pedestrian-only path, The Sidewalk, and peruse shops. Our stay was comfortable, with a good distance of walking to Lobster fest. Our room was pretty clean, provided all the amenities mentioned, and even soap and towels. There were some leftover, used things of soap that were still in the shower area from visitors past. It was hard to find our place at first, and even as I was sitting in my hammock one of the days, some visitors had to ask me to help them find their building. But overall, once we got settled it was a great spot to stay at.

This was horrible. Made a reservation online for $100.00. It said they deal in Belizean money. Ok. Turns out it was in U.S.D. I got delayed and showed up at 10:30pm on a Friday night. No office open, nobody there. Called customer service and the lady said payment didn't go through-apparently they needed to know if I was there on business or vacation! The street isn't well lit and people are walking by and looking at me. A few talked to me for a bit while I was on the phone with customer service. One was drunk and asked for the keys to my motorcycle! Finally the payment went through and they gave me a code but didn't give clear directions on where to go. The lady on the phone wanted me to try to open the door to a place with laundry and lights on! I commented about what I saw and she said to try anyway. This is past 11pm by this point. Then I heard voices. I refused.then she sent me farther into the Cabanas to try another building. Pitch black out. I saw laundry but no lights. Told her what I saw. She said "That ones yours" and told me to try the code. No code box there. Tried to open the door and I here someone quietly say "There's someone here!" from inside!!! I apologized and promptly left. I asked the customer service if she thought this is safe. She got quiet and I said "Hello???" A guy said "Hello" from another building. I asked if he managed the place and he said he could help me even though he didn't work there. He got me into a place. Took about an hour or more total. As I lay down that night listening to the springs in the mattress (And FEELING them) I thought "NEVER, EVER, EVER AGAIN!!!"

The area is quiet and in easy walking distance to shops, the beach and restaurants. We used the kitchenette to cook a couple meals. We used the hammock and chairs on the veranda. It is very basic but adequate for our needs.

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this VRBO. While the property itself was okay, despite a few cleanliness issues; the noise level prevented me from getting much sleep. There was a loud party next door that ran until well after midnight, combined with the fact that the property is right next to the road with motorcycles and other vehicles going by all night it made for an unenjoyable stay.

From what we were told we were the 1st people to stay in this house since the pandemic shut down Belize. That being said a lot of issues needed to be fixed such as the legs on the futon, the top on the table, the hot water heater, the sheets, and the fridge cleanliness. The area is fairly quiet, extremely central to downtown, and the neighbours were lovely. I am joyed Placencia a lot. If these problems could get taken care of I would highly recommend this house. People were responsive to our calls when we needed help with these problems but everything was not completely fixed by the time we left. I am sure that they will get fixed soon though.

For being on the main street it was fairly quiet. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, refrigerator, oven, coffee maker and toaster. As well as little things like soap and cooking oil.The Wi-Fi worked well the bed was comfortable and the place was overall clean and cozy. There were some items not in repair like the fan (super important here!) also some items weren't well stocked. Only one bath towel and one roll of toilet paper for 10 day stay. The owners were very nice and accommodating. Even helped babysit for me so I could have a few minutes to myself! Over all I was happy with my stay and would recommend it to anyone that likes to do there own cooking while traveling.

There were some items not in repair like the fan (super important here!) also some items weren't well stocked. Only one bath towel and one roll of toilet paper for 10 day stay.

The owners were very nice and accommodating. Even helped babysit for me so I could have a few minutes to myself!

Over all I was happy with my stay and would recommend it to anyone that likes to do there own cooking while traveling.
