Deborah was very accommodating when we had to change our dates due to a vacation sadly turning into losing my dad. She was very understanding and sympathetic to my situation and helped to make a very sad experience less stressful. Under the circumstances we did not spend a lot of time at the house but the location was great and there was plenty of space for all of us.
there was plenty of space for all of is of us

As soon as you pull in to the drive-way. You will understand why this place is just so amazing!

Great experience. Deborah was great to deal with.
The house was everything it was described?
Definitely go back again!

Home was very cozy, had a great time. Definitely recommend to all.

We highly recommend this house. The accommodations and the many amenities helped make our family’s stay comfortable and enjoyable. The house is centrally located between Pittsfield, MA and Williamstown, MA. This made it convenient for our family to attend our daughter’s commencement activities at Williams College, plus expanded our choices in shopping & restaurants. Also, the host was very responsive to our questions prior to our arrival. Thanks for your hospitality Debbie :-)
The ONLY recommendation for improvement would be to better post the address sign on the driveway’s entrance to the property. The sign was propped up on the ground which makes it difficult to see, especially at night.

The house was well-equipped -- we all especially loved the flannel sheets and warm comforters on the beds. Owner made sure the steep driveway was plowed when we got several inches of snow. I wouldn't recommend visiting in winter unless you have all-wheel drive (one member of our party couldn't get up the hill).

Very welcoming, spacious home. Had everything we needed for an excellent stay. Large yard for the kids to explore.
Very clean. Comfortable bedding. Location easy to get to many towns. Would absolutely stay here again!

We booked at last minute and didn't have a chance to read the full agreement apparently we're expected to keep the place spotless and to do the laundry when we leave given the extremely high price and the large service fee and cleaning fee I thought that was completely ridiculous and the owner's email to me was very rude. It's also really hard to find the place and GPS brings you to a different location so if you plan to go to this house don't do it at night. That being said it is a wonderful property and an amazing location but be prepared to clean. I did mistakenly take the clicker with me so I understand the owner was annoyed with me but her tone was rude rude and I didn't like it. We all make mistakes and I didn't deserve to talk to that way.

The property had everything else needed for a comfortable and fun stay. We went hiking and to mass moca. The house had the basics like spices and coffee all there and all around it was just really easy to stay

We were looking for a nice quiet getaway so this trip really hit the spot. It was a nice cozy property with lots of land, a couple nice porches to relax on (when the weather cooperated) and amenities to be comfortable. The closest thing is Jiminy resort which had a nice country store but it is more like 15 minutes away from shops/restaurants in Williamstown or Pittsfield.

The photos don’t do this home justice. While I was put off a bit by the lack of wall art the furnishings and wall coloring made up for it
Deborah was quite responsive with questions.
Things I loved.
1. Garage and the remote. We took the opener with us and that was how we entered all the time. It is a 2 car garage so plenty of room for our car
2. Downstairs area to leave coats and shoes
3. Space space space - often rental lack space for groceries and so on but there was plenty.
4. Helpful kitchen essentials like oil a s spices
5. Huge doors to lookout right ans left from the dining room table
6. Locations to fun things ans surrounded by trees
7. We did a 1/2 mile hike on their property
8. Enjoyed using the jacuzzi tub
9. Plenty of dishes and so loved having my tea in a proper cup ans saucer
10 even had some k-cups!!
11. Super comfy bed
12 great for family’s. So spacious.
13. Comfy couch
14. Lots of helpful signs to remind and direct. I appreciate that.
Really worth the stay although for summer usage I only do dental AC. Window units wouldn’t work for me.
Renter info.
1. The door that opens near the stove may hit the glass door. I worried it might break the glass but I didn’t.
2. I had trouble opening the blinds all the way in the front room and didn’t want to break it so left it closed. One blind fell and I was worried it was my fault. I won’t buy these types of blinds.
3. Not fond of putting sheets in wash. I don’t even do this in my home. I would so rather pay and not bother. Many rentals do this. Sigh.
4. My husband who never read the reviews and is not a complainer sat at the dining room table and said the table was high. I noticed the leather chairs and used those and sat up higher
It is a super nice table though!!
5. They need something to allow the sliding doors in the dining room to open.
6. Kitchen stove is gas but uses electric to ignite and is unplugged. I had initial issue with lighting stove then plugged it in and still was slow to light. Mini panics. I was fine.
7. The bake on the oven must be pushed just so to turn on.
8. I didn’t have the right thumb strength to return the lock box but my husband was fine
9. Tv is quite far from the loveseat. But it is a big tv

We had a terrific stay. The house was very clean and bright, with plenty of space for our five-person family. Beds very comfortable, kitchen well stocked. We would love to return!

We loved our stay here. The location is PERFECT for a Jimminy Peak skiing, a great family mountain. The house had clearly been cleaned and sanitized well prior to our arrival, and had all kitchen supplies needed for us to cook meals (we have two littles so we cook a lot). The property is really nice and private, and I imagine quite beautiful in the summer months as it is in the winter. The beds were comfortable and great after a long day of skiing! Host was really communicative and helpful. We will definitely be back for skiing and would love to check out this spot in the summer, too! Highly recommend this property.

Nice house; good location near Jimney Peak and Mt. Greylock. Enjoyed my stay very much.

The property was country enough to really give a good sense of privacy; it was also big, comfy, and warm! It served us well as a base of operations as we went out hiking during the day, and came back for a relaxing evening soaking in the big tub.

We very much enjoyed our stay! It was extremely relaxing, and they have everything you need to have a comfortable stay!

House was well appointed and suited our needs perfectly

It was a nice size, very clean, and great for kids with a nice big yard to play in and a swing set. It was also the first that supplied a height chair to accommodate our 20 month old! A nice secluded area to get out and be away from the everyday.

My wife, myself, two teenagers and dogs stayed here for 4 nights this August. It was a great getaway. If you want to do nothing you can do nothing. We were minutes from the base of Jiminy Peak and were able to get most of our easy shopping done at the country store at the mountain. The house is about ten minutes from a lake we rented a pontoon on and the rest of the time we sat on the deck and watched the kids and dogs run around and throw balls on the expansive property. We were able to cook all of our meals in the well equipped and stocked kitchen. We would definitely stay here again and from what we saw and felt, we can stay here in any of the 4 seasons. Great time and great needed recharge!

The house is lovely, a perfect balance of cozy and spacious. Everything was clean and comfortable. Location was a similarly perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility. Debbie was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay this summer in this spacious, comfortable, kid-friendly home. Well-located in the Berkshire area, where we found an endless number of things to do and time to relax.

This property was great! Well maintained, clean and lots of space! We were in town for an event in North Adams and it was a fairly quick 20 minute drive to town. Much cleaner, more comfortable and economical than ALL the hotels in the area. Would definitely come back again next year! Thanks Deborah!

Our family of 6 stayed in this comfortable home for a few days in summer 2013. It is an excellent location for anyone staying in the area who loves hiking and beautiful mountain views. Great trails and incredibly close to Jiminy Peak. The house is well equipped and feels welcoming and homey. Everything was well maintained. The owner's description is accurate - but the pictures don't convey the beauty of this huge property which has a completely private feel. The owner was very nice and accommodating and available to answer any questions that we had. I'm sure it is wonderful for a winter vacation with all of the skiing and winter sports in the area.

We enjoyed the stay. House is quite large and accommodated our party of 4 adults and kids. The yard is also kid friendly. Kitchen is well equipped. It was easy to deal with the owner and security deposit was promptly received. Thank you.

The listing was accurate and very descriptive, we found the house easily. With a 4 family party I was worried about space and accommodations in general, but was pleasantly surprised at how spacious it really was. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was big enough for multiple people to cook at once, the TV was HD (with 600 channels to boot), and the property was expansive and well-kept. The basement, also considered the first floor, was bright and roomy with zoned heating and enough space to fit a family of 4 comfortably. There were plenty of notes around the house addressing the use of things like the wood stove and recycling bins, and the owner made her phone number available to us for any further questions that we may have had. The location was superb at a mere 2-3 minute drive to Jiminy Peak and a 10 minute drive to the nearby mall where we found Target, Best Buy, and a variety of other shops for entertainment or utility. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their stay and we hope to come back again next year.

Hi: We stayed for a few days in late October. Beautiful home with generous space, terrific kitchen and bedrooms, and all the amenities. Located within easy driving distance of Williamstown, Adams, and Pittsfield, all of which are enjoyable. Many hiking opportunities within a fifteen minute drive, including Mount Greylock. Early October would probably be best for the leaves. If you have children the Ioka Farm is a five minute drive west. On weekends they have quite a diverse array of kid-friendly activities. The house owner here is quick to respond and highly honorable.

What an excellent vacation! We had never been to the Berkshires and when we decided to make the trip it was a really tough choice sifting through all the available options. In the end we went with Debbie's place based on the positive feedback left by previous guests. We have NO regrets!
The house is situated on a hill off of a medium-sized road right by US-7 in Lanesboro, MA. Luckily the property is quite large so you cannot hear or see the road from the house. There is a nice large yard in front of the house with plenty of room to run around and play (it seems designed for a nice relaxed game of touch football). There is a large asphalt area to park. In front of the house is a nice little porch that we didn't really use but was quite comfortable.
When you enter the house itself it is extremely clean. The downstairs is mostly garage and furnace room although there is a large den with a computer and couch. The wood stove smelled extremely nice but not being acquainted with it we opted not to use it.
On the second floor there are three large bedrooms; the house could easily sleep 10-12 people between the beds and couches. The kitchen is quite large and easy to use with all the appliances and utensils one would need. There is a lovely balcony right off the living room where we would sit on the cool evenings and watch the stars.
In the back there is a fire pit (which we didn't use) and a large yard with hills (which can tire one out to walk/run!). Really the only thing that was lacking was a nice path to walk the whole property, as it is quite beautiful yet uncharted beyond the backyard.
The house is in a great location. It is 10-15 minutes from Williamstown, not too far from Pittsfield, and 10 minutes from Mount Greylock. Being more interesting in hiking we didn't stop by Jiminy Peak but it was right down the road (about 2-3 minute drive).
Overall we had a fantastic vacation. Being South Floridians we are seriously weighing the idea of returning in the fall/winter if Debbie will have us to get some elusive snow in our lives. A wonderful trip!

We stayed 4th of July/2012 weekend. The house is very nice, clean, with a great yard space! Definitely recommended, fully equipped. If you want to be close to Jiminy Peak, this is the place to go!

My husband and I took the children (6 and 1) up with another family (another child also 6) on February 10th and stayed for the weekend. We had a fabulous time.
The house is set up wonderfully and was very clean (which is high on my list). My daughter was excited to sleep in a bunk bed. There was a lot of room for everyone and no one was bumping into each other. we all had plenty of space. Even enough room to set up the packnplay. And, we were even able to take advantage of the high-chair that the owner provided which was really helpful with the baby. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots pans etc so I was able to quickly put some things together for the kids. The bathrooms were also very clean and well stocked with towels etc.
We tried to take advantage of many things during our brief stay. My six-year old went skiing at Jiminy Peak for her 1st time ever. It is conveniently located right down the road. The owner has a lot of pamphlets for local restaurants available for you to look at and they were right on the money. We had some great meals out. We really enjoyed http://www.waterstreetcafe.com/. We did a little shopping at a local mall. The outlets are also really close and we hit them on the way home.
Overall it was wonderful. We hope to visit again soon.

We - 4 adults and 4 kids (7, 6, 6 and 3) - had a great time at the house. The house had all we needed and the location is great. For example, we were able to take breaks from skiing to have lunch at home, since the Jiminy Peak Resort is only a few minutes drive away.

My extended family of nine stayed here 3 nights for a ski trip and will be staying here again when we go skiing at Jiminy Peak. This is one of the most comfortable "home away from home" we have ever stayed in. While we had perfect winter weather for skiing, it was inviting to return to a warm house after being outside all day. We had fun playing the games that were at the house and watching TV on the big flat screen TV. It is in the perfect location for skiing at Jiminy Peak, minutes from the mountain, yet off the main road. The owner is easy to contact and pleasant to work with. We had a great experience from arrival to departure and look forward to going back.

We had a wonderful time at your Lanesborough home this past week. Except for one day of rain on Sunday, we had sunny weather all throughout. Your house withstood the storm very well! It served as our home away from home to explore the entire Berkshire area. Thank you for making it so welcoming and clean. The kids loved the bunk/trundle bed and we will definitely plan a return trip in the future!

This home served as a halfway point for our family of 5 from NH to vacation with our extended family in PA. The house is private and comfortable and was a great place for our mini family reunion. Jiminy Peak was a blast and by far the kids' favorite thing we did. The owner is great and was very professional, very helpful and was quick to respond to emails. The whole experience was easy and pleasant.

Debby, The house was very comfortable and clean and easy to maintain with all the kids. The spacious, secluded grounds were great for the kids who like the outdoors. It is centered between all there is to do in the Birkshires. Wish I could have stayed longer, but understood the issue. Thanks for getting back to us from the Cruise, I felt bad bothering you. Thanks again - Would definitelly recommend to anyone traveling with family.

I came with four friends to go cycling in the Massachusetts and Vermont, and we had a wonderful time. The house had plenty of space and was a great home base for us. We would definitely do it again.

Debbie, just wanted to let you know that we loved your home. After doing a high ropes course and white water rafting trip, it was so great to end our days at your warm and inviting house. Everything was exactly as described in the ad. Loved the openess of the house and the seclusion of it. Very easy to find and the six of us will be sure to return next year. Thanks again!!

The house was clean and well equipped, and the bedding was comfortable. We stayed for 4th of July weekend 2011 with two adults and two infants. It took approx. 30 minutes to get to Tanglewood. The guys loved the golf course nearby, 9 hole course but they said it was very well maintained and had great views of the mountains.
