One of Folly's favorite stays, 'Folly's Best Kept Secret' is a completely renovated beach house with all the comforts of home. Centrally located, the home is just a short walk to the beach and the fishing pier, which also happens to be one of the best surf breaks on the island! Center Street with all it's restaurants and shopping is just one block away. Relax and enjoy the casual lifestyle that Folly is famous for, without ever moving your car! Dine at one of the great restaurants, then take a walk on the beach.. Finish the evening with cocktails and conversation on the home's large screened porch. A true four-season home that's cozy and warm, it's also perfect for winter getaways!

You'll really enjoy the new-house comfort this home provides while maintaining it's casual 'Folly-style' attitude. Renovated in a contemporary lay-out, the living room is open to the large kitchen, dining area and the screened porch making it perfect for entertaining both indoors and out. There are two large bedrooms (both are queen beds) and two large baths. There's even a hot and cold outdoor shower. Perfect for two couples or a family of four. You'll find 2 cable TVs, Free Wi-Fi, DVD, and blue-tooth sound - all to make your stay complete. Parking is a breeze with 3 off-street parking spaces including one covered space. This house is clean and very comfortable!!

Historic downtown Charleston is just a 20 minute drive away and offers some of the finest shopping in the southeast but make sure to leave time to take in some of the beautiful historic landmarks that made our city famous.

This property has everything you need and is close to the beach and the coolest grocery store in town. So convenient! The covered parking spot was a huge plus as well. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch, which was also lovely. Would definitely stay again, can’t recommend highly enough!

An amazing house! Roomy, charming and clean, with everything you need. So convenient to Center Street (and Bert’s!) that we never drove anywhere (aside from Harris Teeter and Bowen’s Island Restaurant). I’m a pier walker and was thrilled to be just a few minutes away from my favorite place on Folly. Rent it! You won’t regret it.

Our family loved our stay here! The house was perfect...had everything we needed and then some! The location was perfect...easy beach access and the ability to walk to all the great restaurants and shops! Ernie was available to answer any questions we had in a timely manner! We would definitely stay here again!!

We really enjoyed our stay on Folly. This home is convenient to both the beach (~2 blocks) and downtown Folly (~1 block) which made it very easy to walk everywhere. The home was nice and tidy when we arrived and the owner was quick with communications. The availability of a beach wagon, chairs, and toys for kids made our beach outings easy and enjoyable. One thing to be mindful of with this listing is that it's within a block of an outdoor restaurant that hosts bands so you will get some residual noise on weekends and holidays. We knew what to expect when booking, so it was totally fine for us. This home was a great stay for small family and I would recommend it for others.

We loved our stay and the location was perfect ! You can walk to anything you need. Each morning I made big breakfast and everything was in the kitchen that I needed. There are even beach chairs, boogie boards and toys for the beach for guests to use. I was a little confused on the checkout time, but luckily Earnie reached out to me for a heads up . My daughter’s boyfriend ended up being able to come and join us and we all really enjoyed Folly Beach !

I cannot say enough about this house and the host! The house is exactly how the pictures look! So cute, location is amazing! We Drove our car once and that was to go into Charleston! You can walk everywhere from the house and the beach is less than a 3 m walk. Ernie makes sure you have anything you need for a great vacation, is very very fast to respond with questions and just so nice! We loved it! We will be back!

Unfortunately, we were only there for one night due to an unforeseen change in our plans. This property was clean, plenty of room, and within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the beach. Great communication with the owner. Would highly recommend If you are staying in the Folly Beach area

I can't even say how comfortable this house was .. it was awesome!! We were a party of 3 and loved that we didn't need to rent a car at all. Best vacation to just lay back for a week and just forget about life, in this walkable town .... highly recommended! Super location!

This house is clean and has everything needed for a stress free stay. Once we parked in the covered, off street parking, we walked to everything (except grocery store). Public access to the beach is a short walk and there is a beach cart provided along with chairs and beach toys and towels. Kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and utensils if you want to cook some meals at home. Towels and linens provided. Bring a fire stick if you want streaming, otherwise there is cable. Screened in front porch is good for people watching and relaxing with a book. This house was the perfect size for our family of three. Ernie the host is very responsive and a delight to deal with and offers great restaurant recommendations.

The house is very close to the beach, market, Center St. I found the mattress to be very comfortable. The place is spacious. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch. It's a great spot for bird watching :-). Ernie supplies lots of beach needs: towels, chairs and toys! Ernie is a great communicator; he had lots of great suggestions as well as all the details for a successful stay. We would certainly return.

Ernie is an incredible host with an awesome property! He accommodated our family with a newborn and provided many recommendations. The house was truly in the best location, no car needed! We had an amazing time and will hopefully be booking again in the future!

We had a wonderful time on Folly Beach. We were a very short walk to the beach, restaurants, and basically anything we needed. Charleston is 20 minutes away. Ernie’s beach house was clean and had everything we needed. Ernie was very responsive and helpful. We would highly recommend this house.

If you want a new house or condo with all the modern do-dads, don’t stay here. This house made me feel like I was walking into my mother/grandmother’s home. It was perfect. It couldn’t have been a better trip had we tried. Location is perfect and the homey feel made it the most relaxing vacation we’ve had in awhile. We’ll be back.

Bert's market's breakfast burritos were the best! Perfect for two couples. We will stay here again if we are visiting Charleston area.

Located near the beach and close enough to walk into the business area. Very comfortable for 2 couples! Since it's off-season very quiet and restful. Gracious host who checked to make sure we got in alright and that everything was working. Good kitchen.

This property is 5 minutes from Center Street and the beach. Ernie our host was very good with communicating location of property and offered dining recommendations as well as answered all my questions regarding transportation around the town. We enjoyed the screened in porch and were able to read our books, drink wine and have good talks. Very nice stay.

This property is fantastic! Ernie’s place was perfect for two couples celebrating their anniversary’s. The location of the house can not be beat! 3 minute walk to the beach, 3 minute walk to the main strip of shops/restaurants/bars, and steps from Berts! The house had everything we needed and Ernie gave us all the information we needed to have a fun, stress free trip. His restaurant recommendations were spot on as well. We will be back for sure!

The location of this house is PERFECT! Short walk to the beach and to the restaurants/shops. The fenced in yard is a nice touch with little ones. Kitchen fully stocked with everything you will need to cook. Definitely staying again!

Property was clean, and had everything we needed to cook, relax, and enjoy the beach. The house even had a plethora of beach toys, which were a hit. Walkable to the beach, multiple restaurants, and Bert's (open 24/7 with various sundries & free coffee!). Wouldn't change a thing - will definitely be booking in the future!
