we slept 6 of us here but should have jsut stayed at a hostel.

this property is at the top of a very steep hill. it’s a 10 min walk away from anything and there isn’t a beach for over half an hour drive away. staff were sweet and polite but weren’t too sure what was going on most of the time. but they can book you a boat trip there.

the water shut off a few times for a few hours in the morning so we couldn’t even use the tap shower or toilet and the water pressure in the shower was a dribble at best. the pool was completely out of use the first day we were there which was not ideal since there isn’t a beach for miles. there were ants in both rooms especially if any snacks are left out they will be filled with bugs.

Sweet place, great location.

Equidistant from the town centre and the highest point that overlooks the town. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Room equipped with towels and toiletries.

Room with comfort, with reference to the bed only. Air Condition is so cool also.

Wi-fi connection is BAD, it cannot be accessed in my room! Additional Php 200.00 was collected upon check-in; it is said to be for housekeeping fee, WHY? Is the cleaning not included in the hotel room rate? IT SHOULD BE and IT MUST BE! Water current is not good and the shower is damage! NO elevator; NOBODY help us brought our luggage and other baggage unto our 3rd floor room! Essential kits are only given on the first day, only upon check-in, IT SHOULD BE on a per day of stay as what other hotels are practicing!

The air conditioning is super loud. And this hotel is still under construction. It was constantly noisy. You do not really see any mountain view.

The hotel is a scam. Doesn't look like pictures.

Pictures doesn't look like reality. the hotel is horrible. plus it's located on a steep hill on a dodgy street. I would not recommend. Very crappy place. They just care about making money and offer no quality.

definitely won’t come back

the pool one alright

the shower pressure was horrible and no warm water. construction sounds all around (rebuilding a floor). received the room without toilet paper and towels. staff Were not nice.

This accomodation is suitable for those, who want to stay away from the main busy street.

Swimming pool, kind and helpfull staff. Restaurants are in the walking distance (5-10minutes).

Poor breakfast, wifi not working in the room (only in lobby or pool area)

not easy with a baby

the pool was clean and a good size. rooms had a balcony and bed was comfortable.

it was up a hill. some tricycles could not make it up and you had to walk some parts. and the price varied a lot! We had a baby and staff said there was an extra charge for a mattress on the floor - but then relented when we explained that everywhere else in Palawan had not charged extra for extra for baby.

Don’t recommend

hardly anything

If you don’t expect much, you’ll still be disappointed. We booked the hotel for 2 days to have a pool. On our arrival we’re told it cant be used. Of course we were disappointed and told the staff. But they didnt really say anything, as their english is also very poor - except we could use it after 4:30. But come on, after that time i dont need to use it anymore! The bathroom was horrible. No wifi in the rooms! We went out in the evening and came back late, wanted to shower: no running water. Till the next afternoon there was no water. Also no communication whatsoever on why it’s gone or when it’s coming back and no buckets of water or anything was provided. And when the water came back, it was brown! So still didnt really want to shower. So we went to the pool around non - just to be told it was closed again! I asked why they havent told us, it would be the same the next day as we were already upset the day before - no answer. They just look you in the eye and grin. I said i want to talk to the manager. Came back half an hour later and asked when i can talk to the manager they say i cant because he’s not there - i say i don’t care i can also speak to him over the phone - again no answer. Instead they say we can use the pool now, magically?! Of course no one ever let me talk to the manager. Also, the location is not good. If you dont like walking up a steep hill several times a day, you will spend a lot on tricycles. And nothing / no restaurants closeby. Two of the 4 matresses were extremely hard. To sum up: this hotel was worse than any hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Waste if money!

nice Location a bit Far from town u need to walk or ride a trike close to Mount Tapyas

internet was bad only in the Reception area they need improvement on Internet in the room guest will feel bad about it and Bathroom a bit Smelly after few days no toilet paper or Soap provided poor amenities only towel in the bed was given and Tv also no Remote control i ask for New Remote but the response was we dont have spare i was disappointed no internet in the room tv not good signal as well no cable nothing boring and Breakfast was a bit Small portion it was good but not satisfied i ask for teaspoon for the coffee but only big spoon they have poor staff

It was great! Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

We did not have breakfast; luckily, we packed instant noodles. The staff were very generous for the hot water and utensils. The pool was awesome! A comment for the pool: please have it in 6ft instead of 8ft haha or have it gradually increasing in depth instead. Since the hotel is a bit far from grocery stores, the hotel offers chilled drinks and snacks at a reasonable price.

The room service we asked for on our 4th day was missed. Also, Unit 102's shower room has a clogged drainage system so we had to borrow a plunger from the front desk. We don't have a choice for the breakfast meals: no varieties for the breakfast. 🙁

It gives a homy feeling because of the staff but there is a lot of room for improvement

The breakfast was good except that you have to arrive very early or you have no other choice than the remaining available dish. The meal is in small portion which is not enough to compensate for your effort to climb the stairs to the fourth floor where the restaurant is located. Thankfully, the staffs are very friendly and hospitable.

It is not advisable to bring heavy luggage because you have to walk down many stairs. There is no path available where you can just wheel the luggage down the path. Hats off to the staff who help carry the luggage to the rooms. There is no storage area for your belongings. I just wanted to clarify this phrase indicated on their site "Twin Lagoon is 5 km from the accommodation, while Kayangan Lake is 5 km away." . PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS CAN ONLY BE REACHED BY BOAT.

They have friendly staffs and accommodating staffs.

Dont have wifi, dont have signal, even were connected to the lobby's wifi its still not working. Room neighbors still drinking and talking oitside their room until 1am and no one on the staff checking and informing them that its too late already and may disturb others guest. We cant able to sleep good on our 1st night.

Pleasant

Mountain view inn had a beautiful swimming pool. There was wifi, but we didnt have wifi in our room, until we asked the staff and they only then pointed out where we could find the wifi code. It's quite close to the centre of town and Mount Tapyas. It is a very steep hill to walk back to Mountain View Inn, and the motorbike taxis battled to get us to the top (we are much taller than the average Philippino ;-)

There were no coffee provided. There were a lot of mosquito's outside the room. We had to ask the staff about it, before they went to buy mosquito repellent. This was our most expensive accommodation, and then we still had to pay for breakfast, and they only had Philippine breakfast options, no Western breakfast options.

Good for 1 night stop over - 24/7 non-stop rooster noise.

We stayed 1 night to ensure smooth airport transfer in the morning. The room was nice enough, hot water and air con worked well. The cable TV had all good channels. Pool looked nice. We got out in the rooms downstairs with no view of anything, but I think thats what I paid for. The killer in this place is the roosters. Each side of the property has at least 2 roosters, tied to posts, that cock-a-doodle-doo every 1-2mins or so. Even at night. Hence this place is not viable for a longer stay. Unless your used to or enjoy constant rooster doodle-doo noise. Staff were helpful and friendly. One thing I will recommend is that you book your tours with this hotel. They are the cheapest in town and Kuya Kim was a great captain for private tours. Even if you're not staying here u can book your tours with them and just pay cash on the day. Very good service in this regard. Cock-a-doodle-doooooooooooo
