About this house rental
The charming lake house is the perfect place for you and your friends to relax and take in all of the serene beauty of High Rock Lake. Enjoy your casual lake living by spending your time fishing, swimming, tubing, kayaking or boating while taking in the areas amazing wildlife. You can even bring your own boat, use our neighbor boat ramp while enjoying the use of our dock. At the end of the day, start the charcoal grill (charcoal not provided), enjoy dinner and drinks with a beautiful sunset. Although you are in an established lake neighborhood, when you turn into our place you leave the hustle and bustle of the busy world behind and enjoy the peace and quiet of the great outdoors. Our private fenced in backyard is perfect for a small to medium sized dog.
The house consists of a master bedroom (King bed) with an attached full bathroom, a kitchen, dining area with a beautiful stone fireplace and a great room with a large sectional L-shaped couch on the bottom floor. On the second floor, there is one large bedroom (Queen and Twin) with a sliding glass door where you can walk out onto the upper deck. The sliding glass door has black out curtains to keep out the light and heat on warm days. There is also a spacious loft used as a bedroom (Queen and Twin). Another full bathroom and laundry room are also located upstairs. This spacious retreat would be great for one or two families with about 1600 sq. ft. of livable space.
The glass doors from the great room leads onto a covered patio where you can sit and enjoy the view of the lake while sipping on your morning coffee or enjoying your breakfast. We have a Keurig and coffee pot. If you’d like, you can walk down closer to the water and enjoy the views from the gazebo, the stone patio or the dock. The stone patio is a popular place on those colder days because of the fire pit. Bring your own firewood for a fire and roast some hot dogs or make s'mores with the use of our skewers. On warmer days the canopy of trees provides shade on the patio that makes it great for picnicking. In the summer we grow lots mint next to our gate so feel free to bring ingredients to make mojitos or add some to your iced tea or favorite recipe.

We absolutely loved the cabin! It was so well stocked! The owners thought of everything ! Wish we could have stayed longer. We enjoyed the views, kayaks, and fire pit. Will definitely be coming back!

Our stay was absolutely amazing and we truly did not want to leave. We can't wait to come back to this beautiful home! This home had EVERYTHING you could possibly need. Normally, we take everything like ziplock, foil, spices, condiments, lighters, blankets....the host provided them for us! Everything you can imagine was already there. Lots of space, comfy furniture, fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms and absolutely heaven. We used the kayaks and sat many hours on the dock, by the fire pit or on the swing just relaxing and enjoying the lake, the peacefulness, and wildlife. Turtles, fish and even a bald eagle! The home was up to date and so beautiful! I'd literally rent the home every week forever if I could. True oasis. We really can't wait to go back!!

Home is nicely updated, beds are comfortable and this is typically something not easy to find, it is a nice quiet location, with lots of options within 6-7 minutes as far as food and groceries.
We all kayak so this was one of the things we really looked forward to doing, these kayaks weren’t the most comfortable as only one had the seat back in it to help you sit up fully, HOWEVER this isn’t enough of a reason to not enjoy the rest of what is offered.

We had a wonderful trip. The lake house was amazing. The yard was perfect for the dogs. We enjoyed floating on the lake from the dock and using the kayaks. The home was well stocked and beds were so comfortable. The owners were very responsive. The neighbors were so friendly and the area was so quiet and relaxing. I would love to go back again.

The perfect rental space! The house was beautiful and all of the personal touches were so nice. It was exactly as described. Lots of outdoor space, we enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off the dock. The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated how dog friendly everything was. The kitchen had all we could need and gave us ideas for our own remodel 🙃! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This lake house was perfect for our anniversary vacation! More than enough room for the two of us, beautifully decorated, very well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and blankets, and such a beautiful yard with lots of outdoor seating! Unfortunately our visit was during hurricane Ian, so we had some cooler weather and only got out once on the lake, but we enjoyed using the fire pit and relaxing on the swing. Wonderful rental!

Excellent Lake Trip with the Family
This lake house delivers on the experience it describes. My kids jumped off the dock and right into the lake. It was priceless. The accommodations were more than adequate for what we were looking for during our 3 night stay in July 2022. The owner was kind enough to leave out her fishing rods and my kids caught catfish off the dock with bait we purchased at the nearby gas station. Expect to be comfortable and have a laid back experience here. I'd recommend it to family and friends.

Fun on the water!
We had a GREAT stay here! The house was perfect - very comfortable and just right for 4 adults to be together and also have privacy. The location is perfect, and we especially enjoyed the use of the kayaks and the fenced in yard for our furry child. Comfortable beds, well equipped and stocked kitchen, and great outdoor space for eating, relaxing, etc. Would definitely stay here again!

I'd highly recommend this place and location because your close enough to the store if you need something and far enough away it feels like a retreat. Neighbors were quiet and to themselves, I'll return here with my boat next time.
