Exactly as advertised. Cozy home, great location, and perfect for our family of five!
6.0
On arrival the property is attractive, clean and welcoming, including a lovely welcome package. It is also very well stocked with necessities and more in the kitchen and bathrooms. Unfortunately this great start was let down by a few things that weren’t quite as advertised in photos and descriptions.
-the fireplace was not working, according to a note left this was due to a previous guest, still a disappointment
- the garage is not usable without paying an extra fee. The note left about this seems to imply you’re not to use the driveway either which is odd
- the large bath in the main en-suite is not usable due to the hot water system limitations. As communicated in the welcome email, the “continuous” hot water system only continues to supply hot water for about 2 showers worth, nowhere near enough for such a large tub.
- sadly the cover to the spa is installed so as to block the view when the spa is in use
In addition, we found the property to generate an incredible amount of static electricity, particularly upstairs. Perhaps due to a combination of the dry air, carpet, fleece blankets and metal furniture.
Overall the property could be really good with a few small tweaks. Fixing the hot water, the fireplace, turning the cover on the pool around 90 deg, change the fleece blankets and metal furniture would go a long way. In the meanwhile fixing the photo descriptions and being more explicit in the description might reduce future disappointments.

This house was everything it was promised to be. It was cozy, clean, and the most well-stocked house I've ever rented! My friend and I stayed there alone, but there would have been room for more. We had some communication with the owner and she was very quick to respond. I would definitely rent this property again!

Property exactly as shown and described. Located in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful views! Convenient to everything.
We really enjoyed the hot tub every day after hiking in the Silverthorne, Dillon, Frisco and Breckenridge areas.
House was very well stocked with everything you can think of, from plenty of towels to all of the extras like a full stock of spices and condiments to cook with. Also had all the little extras like hand soaps and lotions. We loved the gift basket full of goodies too!
Property was clean and well care for. We would definitely recommend this property and would rent again!

Silverthorne townhouse on bike path
Liked the location next to the bike path and close proximity to Angler Mtn and Willowbrook trailheads. Clean property with good sleeping space. Kitchen well-appointed.
Living space is narrow and a bit tight for 6 people. Road noise from Hwy 9 is loud in summer when trying to get cool night air. Issue with parking spaces when you have 3 vehicles. Get the impression the neighbors are not happy about renters in the middle unit.

Beautiful property
This property is located in a new and convenient area to skiing at Copper or going into Frisco to shop or eat. The house was very well supplied with plenty of towels, coffee and anything else you could need for your stay. We used the hot tub out back everyday! The only problems that occurred were not being able to use the garage and the heat thermostat lowering constantly…we’re from Florida so we needed the heat! Other than those two things, everything was great!

Great location and neighborhood, super clean and well equipped townhouse with everything you could need or want, beautiful scenery - we had excellent weather, and there were moose right outside! We would stay again and recommend this spot to anyone interested - it was a super choice!

Family Ski vacation
The location was perfect to get to Copper Mt, Loveland and Arapaho basin. The kitchen was well equipped and the knives were nice and sharp. We loved having our own hot tub and used it daily after skiing. There are nearby hiking trails that we enjoyed as well. There's a nice quick trail that can be accessed just in front of the bridge through the association. The listing did mention that larger vehicles don't fit in the garage which was helpful, we didn't try to get our Expedition with car top carrier inside. Our boys enjoyed having their own rooms. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. Highly recommend this rental for families.

You won't be disappointed
This place was great. The owners have thought of all the small details. We were a group of 6, including 4 boys, aged 13 to 23. We all commented on how nice and accommodating it is. The place is very spacious and all is as described or better. Communication with the owner was great. We were skiing and snowmobiling . Great location and close to everything without all the traffic and noise.

Fall break
Great location; small lake behind property perfect for kids to paddle board/kayak. Right on bike trial...went all the way to Breckenridge. Close by to many mice hiking trails. Nice to have own hot tub to soak in after an active day. Great base for a week away

A Great Place To Stay Close to a Number of Amenities
Checking in was easy and the instructions were clear and accurate. There was a small welcome basket which was incredibly appreciated. The property is located in a nice quiet neighborhood close the a number of trails along the Blue River. Having en suite baths in each room was a fabulous addition.

Great location and rental
This place felt like we were staying at a friend’s house. Instead of throwing away items that others forget, they save them in case you forgot something. The first day as the kids were exploring they said “this place just keeps getting better.” The location is great with the pond and river. We loved the paddle board, kayak and bike. We had a wonderful week and would stay here again!

Perfect Stay!
Our family absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful condo! The house was clean, in a beautiful location, near trails and ponds, across from a fantastic golf course, and close to all the big mountains! We hiked, white water rafted, fished, golfed, and relaxed! The house had everything we needed inside and for going out! We would definitely stay again and recommend it to others!

Quick weekend getaway.
Great location, comfortable, quiet. We love this neighborhood and this townhome was perfect for our needs (2 couples). Fishing in the ponds out back or the river steps away. Views to the west of the Gore Range are stunning.

ski trip
Very nice location easy access from I70. House is nice with a great view on mountains (including from the jacuzzi).
Some minor maintenance and equipment issues explain the 4 vs 5 stars.

Beautiful Condo and Very Clean!!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This condo is so convenient as far as location to Copper, Keystone and Breckinridge as well as numerous places to eat or shop. The bedrooms and beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms super clean, the kitchen was stocked great and there is a washer and dryer on first floor. There are TVs in all the bedrooms. We were snowed in one day due to the " bomb cyclone" snow storm so we cooked dinner in and watched movies all day. A very comfy condo and highly recommend it to others. We hope to head back for spring break next year. Thank you for your hospitality!

Excellent! Cozy and perfect location too!
My family came in from St. Louis to visit and ski for the weekend and we had the opportunity to stay at The Ponds at Blue River. This location was cozy, filled with all the amenities needed, and close to Keystone, Breckenridge, and Copper Mountain. Perfect for a weekend getaway and slept all 5 of us comfortably. We didn't have a single issue the whole time we were there. I'd certainly recommend!

Wonderful place to stay
My husband and I took our 3 kids for a short family vacation before school started up again and things got crazy. We did a few different trips from the house. The place had awesome views of the mountains. It was also great to have 3 bedrooms. Will definitely look at renting from them again.

Okay, But Not What We've Become Accustomed to on VRBO
I'll start with the good. The house was fully stocked with everything you needed, was clean, and readied for our arrival. Kitchen has everything you can imagine, plenty of movies and games available.
Unfortunately, there were some negatives. The garage was so full with stuff that getting the car in an out was a risky endeavor. We had to move bikes to make it fit and then still had stuff fall onto our car, luckily there was no damage. The house was cold!!! The Nest thermostat was locked to a max setting of 70 deg Fahrenheit. I admit for most people that is fine, but we are cold people and on top of that the house was so drafty. The hot tub was another issue. Even though the guestbook does talk about the water level being constantly low and filling it with some water from the , we didn't expect it to be down by a foot or so. We contacted the owners and they told us that we needed to drag a house from the garage to the hot tub in the back of the house. It took nearly 30 minutes to fill and we lost the use of the tub for that day. Another minor complaint was the extent of the Christmas decorations a month after the holiday was over. Oh yeah...the weird notes around the house....."Don't Eat the ice cream in the freezer."....what in the world is that? The house just didn't feel like it was ours to use, it felt as if we were imposing on the owners.

Stunning Views and Great Accomodations
Myself, wife and two young children stayed at The Ponds at Blue River Condo over the 2017 4th of July week. We've stayed at many VRBO and Air B&B so I'll give you my breakdown of the Condo on what we liked and didn't like.
PRO's
-The view is breathtaking. The photos in the picture just don't do the mountain views justice. The Master bedroom and Bath have the best views overall.
-Property Amenities: We really didn't think much about what was offered, but we fished (get a license), used the trails and playgrounds every day. The Kaisers also offer for free the use of their Kayak and Paddle board, both of which are high end. This was a huge plus for us.
-Mattress: The bed was perfect. We're pretty sensitive sleepers and need a high quality mattress and the king bed was very nice and we both slept well.
-Owner: Sandy is super easy to work with and fast on communication.
-High Chair / Pack & Play were included, which meant I didn't have to bring one.
CONs:
-I hate to put the Hot Tub in this category as its actually a higher end unit with many jets and works exceptionally well. Probably the best I've seen in a rental. The problem here is that the cover has an easy lift that only allows you to open the cover one way and that's the wrong way, which is blocking the mountain view. This should be fixed and moved to face the neighbors side to provide privacy and not block that million dollar view.
NEUTRAL:
-Family room is a pretty tight rectangle so it creates a bit of an awkward viewing angle of the TV. I think they've maximized and arranged the space the best they can though.
-Garage space is very tight and with the Kayak / Paddle board in there you wont be able to park your car in there. If you're a family of two cars you'll only have one spot. Not a problem for us though since we just had one vehicle.
-Garage Door Sensors: The garage door kept bouncing up and wouldn't shut even though the sensors were not blocked. I cleaned off the sensors and re-aligned them and this resolved the problem. I didn't notify the owner at the time as we were busy.
In Conclusion we'd highly recommend this condo and would definitely stay there again. The views and property amenities are great and the accessibility to Silverthorne/Dillon and the nearby Ski towns was great.
