About this house rental
PRIMO POOL AND PALMS IS BACK BETTER THAN EVER! Fort Myers Beach is rebounding quickly from Hurricane Ian which caused major damage to the area on 9/28/22. There's still evidence of the hurricane in areas but the beach has been super busy and there's lots of restaurants and bars, beach shops and water sports open again. And you won't see any signs while at Primo Pool and Palms as its been fully renovated from top to bottom, inside and out, and is just waiting for you to come and enjoy a stay!
This is a private 2100 Sq Ft, Tropically landscaped canal front home located in the north end of Fort Myers Beach with quick and easy on/off access to the Island. There's a large driveway for plenty of parking included. But the best part is the large private heated pool and spa. If you want to be in the heart of the action, but yet be able to slip away quickly to enjoy some quiet time, this is the place!
Primo Pool and Palms is walkable to the Beach, Times Square and Old San Carlos Blvd where you will find water sport rentals, beach shops and plenty of bar/restaurants. A beach cart and beach chairs are included that you can take down to the beach. Or you can just stay put and relax in the free form pool with tanning platform and attached spa surrounded by the tropically landscaped yard. You can also sit on the large dock and look for the manatees and dolphins that occasionally visit the canals. Maybe a kayak cruise for two into the intercoastal to look for Dolphin, Manatee or bird watching. Relax in the hammock and listen to the sway of the palms. And If you're a boater, bring/rent a boat and tie up to the dock and be just minutes from the Gulf! You will feel that you have found a hidden Oasis at Primo Pool and Palms!
The rental rate does include access to the tandem kayak, along with all of the other great amenities at Primo Pool and Palms.
The lay-out of this 4 bedroom home allows for plenty of privacy with an Upper Level that features 2 Bedrooms (1 King and 1 Queen), Bath, Kitchen, Dining Area, Living Area with daybed with 2 twins that can convert to a king bed, and has an open upper lanai. There's a Lower Level that also features 2 Bedrooms (1 King and 1 Queen), Bath, Kitchen and Living Area with queen sleeper sofa. For privacy, just close the entry doors that separate the levels or leave open for free flowing access to the entire house.
The bedrooms have new mattresses and they are encased in Allerease protection cases. Pillows are also in Allerease cases. Each room has an extra set of sheets. There's a Samsung Smart TV in every bedroom. The upper level primary bedroom overlooks the pool and canal with its own access to the upper lanai.
The Living areas have comfy seating and both have 60" Samsung Smart TVs with cable and there is wi-fi throughout the house. You will also find games, books and puzzles.
Both Kitchens have new cabinets, appliances and granite counters and are fully stocked for your cooking needs. The upper level kitchen has a built in desk area for those needing to "plug in" while on vacation. The lower level is a kitchenette, no oven. But has a full size fridge, dishwaser, microwave and two burner stove top, a airfryer and has quick access to the Grilling area.
Both Bathrooms are stocked with plenty of linens. The upper level bath has a shower/bath combo. The lower level is large shower, no tub. Both are supplied with hair dryers.
The Laundry room has two front load washers and two front load dryers for your use. You will also find beach towels here and bedding for the sleeper sofa and extra bath towels for the lower bath.
As nice as the inside is, Outside is where you'll want to be! You will find:
The main feature, the large free form heated pool and spa! This home sits on a lot and a half so has lots of places to lounge with adirondaks and chaise loungers. There's a shaded seating area in lower lanai with sofa and 2 swivel chairs and a high top table with 4 seats. There's a large surfaced BBQ Grill. There's an outdoor table wih 6 seats on the upper lanai and a and pool side dinette with seating for 4.
Also included is everything for a day at the Beach:
Beach chairs; beach blankets; toys; cooler; and a Beach Cart to tote everything in!
There's a tandem kayak with paddles and an assortment of life jackets.
Fun outdoor games too like tiki toss and giant jenga.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The property was exactly as described. We especially enjoyed the gorgeous private backyard pool area. I would not hesitate to recommend this property!

The back yard is paradise! The house in its entirety was very nice and perfect for our family of 9. It definitely could of been cleaned better. We found old water bottles and trash in the cabinets and under the beds and such, and it could use a deep cleaning, but we would definitely stay there again! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We were thrilled with this property. It is as lovely as the pictures suggest, with an amazing large pool and outside area. Easy short walk to times square and beach. Nice neighbourhood. Barb, property owner, was brilliant with communication with us both before and during our stay. There was a small issue during our stay, and Barb was straight away dealing with it, even though the issue could not have been avoided or of her making and she kept us informed throughout. We had a look to see if we could book next year, but calendar is already quite full of bookings, and now we have vacationed there, we know why it is so popular. We would love to come back one day. Thank you Barb for a great stay.

Spacious 2 story home with private pool offering 2 separate living areas- perfect for multi-family reunion. The open floor plan on 2nd level Main-living area was great to spread out to enjoy meals and social time. Back of house and pool are south facing with burst of sunshine greeting us each morning -such a cheerful way to start our day-

We had a great time at the beach and swiming pool. The kids loved the pool and since we are close to the house, we cooked food ahead of time and brought it with us. This gaves us flexability of when to eat.

Another fantastic stay!
This is our second stay with Barb- last year we stayed in her other property- and had another fantastic stay! We loved how much room this home had, it gave us lots of privacy, and it's beautiful and well done. The pool and outdoor areas are great, we loved being on the canal and using the kayaks. The bikes came in handy for quick runs down to our favorite taco joint and the doghouse at the end of the street. Excellent proximity to times square and the beach. The street is quiet. Barb is an excellent host and we're planning on staying with her again next year!

We had 2 families and had plenty of room to stay and sleep. The outside pool area and dock were beautiful. It’s a short walk to the beach! Plenty of beach supplies and towels included with our stay. Had a great time!

Communication with owner was great and needs addressed quickly. The outdoor area is fantastic with everything you need to enjoy the day outside. We had 8 adults and all slept comfortably. Only issue we had was only 2 bathrooms. You can’t change this and we made it work! Would definitely book again!

Perfect holiday
This property was exactly what we were looking for to celebrate special birthdays this year. It was very clean, extremely well stocked with needed items and offered privacy for 3 family units. The grandsons especially loved the pool! It was everything we had hoped it would be! We appreciated the convenient location near Times Square and the gorgeous white sandy beach. It would be lovely to return.

Family Vacation
Our family vacation at Primo Pool & Palms was very enjoyable. We had great times at the backyard pool and hot tub as well as the beach. The location is very conducive to walking everywhere. The amenities of an umbrella stroller, wagon for going to the beach, beach chairs, sand toys for little ones and pool accessories was very much appreciated. Barb was very easy to contact before and during our stay. We only had one question while there and she replied immediately. The book with restaurant and excursion recommendations was very helpful. Thanks Barb for sharing your house with us.

Great home and incredible location
Property location and size of home are fantastic. Plenty of space for two families and two separate living areas for some privacy. Pool and dock are great for fishing and relaxing. Property manager was very responsive and had great recommendations and list for things to do. We’ll be back if we head back to Ft. Myers.

Fantastic house. Clean, spacious, and stocked with everything you and your family/friends will need to have a great time. Love the pool, and the covered back porch which lets you be outside during either blaring sun or the daily afternoon shower. We loved the short walk to the beach. The host was very responsive. Would recommend this place to friends.

Great place
Very nice place to stay. We took the whole family which included grandkids ages 2-10. The house was roomy and having kitchen and living rooms on both floors was nice since some were up early and others wanted to sleep in. Beach was a short walk and time square wasn’t far. Loved having the bikes to ride each day. Barb was very helpful and provided great info about the area.

Great for family time!
We thoroughly enjoyed our week here together. Close enough to walk to the beach or restaurants. Everything was as listed. The patio could use a good cleaning for sure but we still used it everyday. We would use again.

Perfect Oasis!
We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The backyard provided for a week of fun, swimming, grilling, and cocktails. The house was very clean and comfortable, and it included a lot of the little things that we forgot to bring (skewers for the grill, and an array of different spices, for example). The property is located a short walk from everything. Barb was right on top of any questions that we had. First class all the way...we will definitely be back!!!

The house is beautiful, clean, well-stocked, close to everything yet a private feel.
The owners are exceptional! The communication, hospitality and just plain friendliness were exceptional.
We typically always try new places but we are going back to FMB next year and are booking with Barb.
