About this house rental
Our home is perfect for family reunions or a few friends with their kids. The Round House is located in a quiet subdivision 4 miles from Winter Park town. There is no train or highway noise, just tranquil sunny treed views and peaceful mountain surroundings. We take great pride in keeping our home updated and love to hear our returning guests comment on any changes. We just remodeled all 3 bathrooms and replaced 5 windows. We also added new mattresses and now have 2 king beds. We strongly prefer no more than 10 adults and 16 people is the maximum. Additionally, this is our only rental, we won’t direct you to ‘other listings’ and we are not after maximizing our bookings. Weekly stays offer the best rate. Accurate listing. Kitchen was all labeled making everything easy to find. It was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook all our meals.
The kids took over the lower level and the adults enjoyed all the windows overlooking the meadow. We especially enjoyed watching all the hummingbirds using the feeder!. Every day we were on the lookout for a moose and finally on the last morning we saw a young one in the meadow. We went on several hikes, nothing was too far of a drive from the round house.
It was so nice to see mountains all around us from the town of Fraser. Great house to use as our home base for all of our adventures!

After a few bumps due to contractors not completing work on time, this house worked great for our family. The kids took over the basement and adults stayed away. We all enjoyed the hot tub which really felt good on cooler evenings. We enjoyed the rodeo, Rocky Mountain National Park, river rafting and Winter Park Resort gondola on Friday and Saturday from 4-7-free rides to the top where there is an awesome view and bar and restaurant as well as games for the kids. All and all it was a wonderful time for this Indiana family completely out of their element. The owners were always there for questions and concerns. Thanks for the memories. It was a great time for all.

The house was amazing, clean, kitchen was very nice. Ping pong table, games and hot tub kept everyone entertained...and lots of room for everyone. We fished, went to Grand Lake, Grandby and Shadow Mountain to fish, also nice shopping... (also ponds near downtown for easier. The Winter Park Lodge was very nice and the Gondola ride up to the top was amazing. During our stay we were treated to a young Moose walking through the meadow behind the house and lots of humming bird visits on the deck.We all had a great time and this beautiful home was perfect for all of us.

Our extended family has been spending every other spring break at the Round House for well over 25 years. By this time it really does feel like we are coming home. The house is always clean and well equipped for large groups of varying ages. It looks nice, but is also cozy and comfy. Our host is quick to reply to our texts if we have questions. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Thanks again for a great time.

Once you enter the house the windows surrounding the living area create a sensation of being in nature. Beautiful views of the snow covered meadow and mountains in the distance.
The house is well furnished with a very well organized kitchen. The labeled cabinets and drawers help to efficiently find needed items.
The property owners did an excellent job of communicating throughout our stay, and responded to our needs quickly.
Overall the house was a good choice for our family’s gathering.

The house was very cozy and nice. It was big enough for our family. The owner decorated the house for Christmas , they even had glasses and mugs with Christmas design. We felt right at home. The view was very nice and the fireplace was awesome There was a spa, but we didn’t used it because of our activities.
Overall we were very happy with our choice.

My family just wanted a space where we could all be together. There are 14 of us across four states, so togetherness is a rare occasion and therefore all the more treasured. The accomodations and supplies at the Round House was more than we could have hoped for. Plenty of room for parents and grandparents and littles! A kitchen big enough for baking day, a table large enough for family meals, and plenty of room for a game night or two! The hosts were incredibly communicative and the house was clean and beautiful. Made our momma cry! Anyway, we couldn't be happier with our experience at the Round House and everyone is already anxious to plan a revisit soon!!

Very roomy nicely appointed home for 5 guys. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, one of the thermostats did not work and the primary BR and bath were not at a comfortable temp. Additionally, the internet was spotty and slow and there were no working TV channels. The TV dish was not working as advertised. Communications were great but no resolution during or after our stay.

There were 10 of us plus an overnight visitor or three, the property was well suited for such a crowd. The arrangement of extra beds in most rooms is great, dad and grandkids had a room, couples had rooms, and the singles bunked in together. Perfect.

This was a great house with modern kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and quiet neighborhood. It’s near Winterpark and the town of Fraser for easy shopping and entertainment.

Our group was on a church ski retreat! We had 5 families ranging of all ages. There were several activities at the cabin for kiddos to keep them busy (sledding down the hill, ping pong, movie room, and more). We cooked our meals while there and had no problems. We'd happily stay here again!

Round House was just perfect for our family Christmas vacation. There were 16 of us, yes you read that right! And, there was a bed for everyone. No having to sleep on couches or sofas.
The kitchen is totally equipped and supplied. We did not eat out any of our 6 night stay. We were able to cook in for all of us. The pantry space is underrated, not to mention the pots/pans, plates, etc, etc, etc.
And we were there in some pretty cold weather. The house was always warm, comfortable and inviting. With the 2 separate congregation areas, there was plenty of room for conversations, movies, or just quiet time reading.
The hot tub was a hit. We used it nightly, extensively. Enjoyed the heck out of it, even with it snowing outside.
We even cooked on the grill, which worked flawlessly. And hot water, we had plenty. This place is phenomenal.
We will definitely stay here again should the family decide WP is the place for a future vacation.

This was the perfect home for us to gather from around the country for Thanksgiving. From the treehouse for the kids, great hot tub, tv room for the football fans to the well stocked kitchen for the cooks in our family it was a great week. Thank you!

We had a great weekend relaxing at the cabin. This cabin is close enough to activities and stores but also private enough to allow bird watching and wildlife viewing. The kitchen is well acquainted and spacious. My friends and I enjoy creating large meals for each other. There is plenty of space for cooking and dining. There are two separate areas for relaxing and board games as well. There's a grill on the deck. The hot tub is great as well. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

We were impressed by the home which was roomy, clean and very inviting. The location is beautiful and provides great views. The owners were easy to communicate with. Rating a 4 only because we had trouble with the thermostat!

My group consisted of 5 adult men...house provided a room for each of us and 3 bathrooms to share. The house is very spacious and well laid out. Large well equipped kitchen, large living room on first floor and nice family room in basement area with ping pong table and TV. Beautiful setting a couple miles to a grocery store and Winter Park Ski area. Would recommend a AWD vehicle because driveway is sloping and could be a problem in winter. Also a vehicle is required to get to ski area...there is a shuttle bus but it is not within walking distance. House would be great for families and can easily sleep 10 or more.

The roundhouse is fantastic! Well-stocked kitchen, ample storage space, and comfortable sleeping and living areas. It felt like all our needs were anticipated and it was so clean! Great to have natural open space for moseys through the snow. We loved our stay!

Amazing Place!
The Round House was a fantastic place for great friends to gather 10 years out of college. Alicia and Tom were fantastic hosts and incredibly responsive. The location was great, the space was great and we certainly enjoyed the hot tub! The kitchen has ample space for food prep and the relaxation space is plentiful. Thank you again for hosting us!!
