Not like home
The facility IS nice. However, there some drawbacks; The throw rugs tried to cripple us. TV, using the antenna, was pixelated. The bed frame is 'Shin Getter' (after a couple of times, you remember to give the corners wide berth). For an aired part of the country, that uses waterless urinals, it's strange to run WATER 5 minutes to get warm water(NOT HOT water). The locking mechanism on the door could be a LOT simpler and easier to use. There are digital dead bolt locks that are MUCH easier to use. There could have been extra blankets. There should be a way to shade the high windows in the living room ( some people watch TV in early evening). Somebody should be available to talk with, on the phone or in person, not an answering machine.
The checkout time seems a bit early.

Holes in most walls.
Living room couch was so uncomfortable it couldn't be slept on. Ask for more blankets. Enough for 4 people and got no reply.

Bones
Location and staff where great. However, the furniture looked like it was bought at a cheap garage sale. Nothing matched. The beds felt like you where sleeping on an air mattress, that's how low they where. Would definitely stay again, but for the price we paid, remodeling would be expected.

Adequate and clean but certainly not "luxurious"
The price was reasonable, and you get what you pay for. I stayed for 4 nights. Finding the unit in the dark the first night was extremely difficult, I would have appreciated better instructions to find it once I arrived at the street address. The unit is on the upper floor (not disclosed in listing) so don't book if you have trouble climbing stairs. The place is adequate but "luxurious" is most certainly not an adjective I would use. Definitely no frills. overall quality of unit and furnishings on par with most budget motels. I wasn't a fan of the foam bed mattress which had the tendency to develop a divot as you slept and was uncomfortably warm. The TV had netflix, but only if you had your own account to use it. The rest of the channels were very limited. Fortunately, I only slept there so didn't use the kitchen much, it appeared to be stocked with limited items. It is interesting to compare this to other VRBO locations that I have booked over the years. This was the most bare bones unit of any.

Nice, convenient condo
Place is clean and has all necessities. It smells musty or like it was once a smokers home, but it’s not overly horrible. Shawna, the property manager, was extremely helpful!

Great place, convenient location
Nice 2 bedroom unit with all the amenities, fully equipped kitchen and lots of room to hang out. Comfortable for 2 to 4 guests. Only downside was the pool is not heated, we sat beside it most days enjoying the AZ sun. Major grocery stores and shopping less than 5 min drive.

Nice location
Small living area and old, uncomfortable furniture. No cable TV. Tierra Palmas went to Roku TV and we were unable to view any local programming. In fact, we could not even view the final game of World Series. Not enough silverware, plates or bowls to use. Good shower and beds. Good location. Great staff. Tried to help us out with TV and utensils.

Not a great stay.
First, the good things. The people we dealt with were great, and the condo was very clean. It was all down hill from there. The closet in the 2nd bedroom was large and it had a light that did not work. We were told it was going to get a new fixture on the second day we were there. Did not happen. The bed consisted of a mattress on a frame, no box spring. The bed was extremely low. When you are average height or more and are senior citizens we basically had to fall onto the bed. To get up again was also a struggle because the bed was too low. The sheet and blankets were of the wrong size for the bed. Not great. There were plenty of sheets, but not of towels. The kitchen was very short of cutlery, dishes, and pots. The condo had been advertised to sleep six, but there were not enough cutlery etc for six. The table was to small for the four of us, let alone six, and the chairs were so uncomfortable to sit on that the chairs on the deck were brought in and pillows were placed in the other two. The living room furniture was next to impossible to sit on because it was so uncomfortable to sit on. There were only two spots that were tolerable to sit on so only two at a time could sit on it. I would hate to have had to sleep on it.
We didn't get to use the pool as it is not heated, and was to dirty to use anyway.
All in all, I would not recommend this property to anyone.

cheap
I found all of the furniture uncomfortable, from the beds to the dining room chairs. The sofa was also uncomfortable.
The lights in both closets didn't work.
We had to go buy poster boards to cover the bedroom window since there is a parking lot light right outside which lit up the room as if the light was on.
There wasn't even enough toilet paper to last we had to go buy some.
I would not recommend this property to my friends.
We have rented many times in Az with no issues before.

Enjoyed our visit very much
Was very happy with the entire process from finding the location to the end of our stay. I will definitely use HomeAway again if I need a place to stay. The condo we rented was very nice and we especially enjoyed the grill on the patio. The pool was very nice and close to the unit. Another good feature was the fact that we didn't need to rent for a minimum of a week as we were only going to be there 5 nights. The number to call when we arrived was answered immediately and I never had trouble getting a hold of her. Which on a first rental is something that one might wonder about. The condo was well stocked with towels, sheets and dishes. Even a wine bottle opener. The main thing I can stress is that for a first time person using this site is that everyone contacts you right away and there was never a worry that I paid for something and was disappointed. I totally recommend HomeAway as well as this property.
