Liked that the B&B was situated near the sea
Quite ,relaxing, good breakfast..
Just one thing ,i am old and the bath was slippery, was afraid of falling so a barh mat would have been good and the shower high up so i could have taken a shower standing..

Really friendly hosts and amazing breakfast. So close to the beach and lovely views. This is a dog friendly B&B, which is lovely very relaxed.
Land train stop just down the road for a fun way to get into town.
Nothing against the hotel. If you need a taxi, make sure you book well in advance. One turned up. One didn't show and then just couldn't get one.

Host was friendly and made us feel welcome, including our dog.
Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.
Rooms were small but expected for price.
No shower. Although there was was a showere attachment for washing hair.
Toilet seat would not stay in upright position. Not a problem for my companion though.

Clean.
Karen was very welcoming and polite. She obviously works hard.
Had to book an hotel with a twin room that would accommodate our dogs which is not ideal compared to a double room. However when we got to the hotel found that our room was two single rooms separated by the bathroom! Not only were we not in the same bed…we couldn’t sleep in the same room!
Didn’t say anything at the time because the hotel said ‘No Vacancies’ and there was only five rooms anyway so presumed a room change would not be possible. This did spoil our stay really until one of our dogs became ill.
She collapsed and had to be carried back to the hotel. In our upset and distress we didn’t latch the front door…unbeknown to us at the time…but the next morning the male owner approached us saying he had seen us on CCTV carrying our dog and it was definitely us that had not locked it. He spoke to my partner in a very condescending manner, a bit like a three year old being told off and despite seeing our dog unwell the evening before..never asked how she was. Not a good Host and needs to take lessons from his wife on customer relations.

Breakfast was better than expected. The location of our accomodation could not have been better. We were just a short walk from Bridlington harbour and town one way and Sewerby hall the other way. The beach was just across the road.
We were a bit dissapointed to have to leave. Apart from that, we couldn,t fault the establishment.

spotlessly clean throughout
great breakfast
only one cup of tea at breakfast. I would prefer a small teapot and a jug of milk, which I’m sure wouldn’t increase their costs.

It was a great location - right near the sea front and far enough from the harbour to be very quiet but near enough to walk there easily for an early boat trip. The parking system is excellent - an online permit allows street parking in the local area and there was no shortage of places. We were able to park opposite the house every time we returned. The owner Karen was very friendly and helpful; the breakfasts were good and the room was very clean and comfortable. There was a nice pub (Marine Bar) round the corner that did good food and real ale. we would definitely stay here again.
Nothing that I can think of; we had to book at short notice when another place had a fire and cancelled our booking but it turned out to be a much better choice!
