About this apartment rental
Not Your Grandmoms Beach House is a luxury indirect oceanfront 3 bedroom/ 2 full bath condo with 8 pool passes. This unit has amazing views of the ocean from 2 decks! You can watch your friends & family play in the pool from the front deck, or watch the ocean while you relax on one of the 4 loungers on the back deck. We also have an outdoor dining table that can accommodate 6 people for alfresco meals. When you are ready to hit the beach, simply walk down the steps to our condo buildings private walkway to the beach.
This condo is located on the ocean side of 116th street across from the original Greene Turtle. The unit comes with 2 covered parking spots located under the building. There is also a covered bus stop on this block for getting to all the local hotspots by bus. We have liquor stores, grocery stores, and restaurants located in walking distance--so if you want to park your car for the week, you can!
When you walk into Not Your Grandmoms Beach House you will be walking into the newest (completely reconstructed in 2016--every thing is brand new & top of the line including the furniture) most modern condo for rent in all of ocean city. The kitchen is an ocean lovers dream, as it has stunning ocean views from a huge picture window as well as the all glass front door. It has all brand new stainless steel appliances--a large refrigerator, large farm style sink, dishwasher, oven, stove, & microwave. There is also a breakfast bar in the kitchen (with 2 barstools) that overlooks both the pool and ocean. You can eat your meals while watching the waves roll in or keep an eye on friends/family at the pool. It is stocked with everything that you need to prepare meals or to reheat leftovers from all of the fabulous restaurants in Ocean City (we provide a list of our favorites)! The large dining table can seat 8 people and you can enjoy a meal while watching the ocean. The living area has a large comfortable sectional with chaise lounge--perfect to put your feet up and relax while watching the 55 inch smart TV with DVR--so you won't miss your favorite shows! We also have high speed Wi-Fi for your convenience, There is no need to haul home dirty laundry, this condo is equipped with a laundry room with a brand new washer & dryer.
We have electronic entry, so no waiting in long lines at rental offices to pick up your keys. You also won't have to worry about losing keys in the sand, or figuring out which family member is responsible for keeping track of the keys. It's always nice to have one less thing to stress about while on vacation!
Bedroom 1: This is a very spacious Master bedroom with a King Bed, brand new flat screen cable smart TV, private spa like Bathroom with walk in shower, desk for when work has to be done, a laundry room, & coffee station. Wake up & enjoy your coffee in the room while sitting at a pub table with great views of the ocean.
Bedroom 2: This room has 2 full sized beds with brand new mattresses. We chose not to put a TV in this room so that when children stay here, they can sleep peacefully without the temptation of turning on the TV. It's also great for adults who want to disconnect, relax, and unplug. This room has ocean views and a fun "palm beach" vibe.
Bedroom 3: This room has a Queen size bed with brand new mattress, a flat screen cable smart TV, and views of the ocean.
There is also another full bath complete with river rock floors and ocean views from the shower. You will feel like you are in a spa at a resort far away from home.
As owners of this home we take pride in the appearance and cleanliness of the condo. It is like a 4th child to us, so any concerns or needs you have will be addressed promptly. We have installed exterior ring doorbell camera for security purposes, and to monitor that our rental policies are upheld. LINENS NOT INCLUDED.
The unit is available for FULL WEEK rentals in June, July, August and week/long weekends in September-November. We also offer very reasonable rates for long weekends during the off season. Please check our calendar for availability. Give us a call or email with any questions.

We go to OCMD every year, and this is one of our favorite places! The condo was spacious and clean. It is a short walking distance for groceries and all of our favorite places. Leslie was very helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

One of the best condos that I have stayed at in ocean city.Beds were comfortable,large living room great place to play games and spend quality time together.Kitchen well stocked,views of pool and beach were excellent.Parking for four vehicles almost unheard of.Leslie the owner was great and allowed us to check in early.

Clean, updated, accurately described, and tremendous owner communication. The condo worked out perfectly for our two-family trip. Every room has a view of the ocean even though the unit is the rear of two 2nd level condos. Extremely spacious and updated throughout. True pride and care by owners. Other units in complex are in process of being remodeled (or need it) but this one is top shelf. Covered parking for 2 vehicles is a bonus. Walked to three dinners (Greene Turtle, Crabcake Factory, and Tail Chasers). Easy beach access gave us best set-up spot each day. Supermarket, pizza shop and beverage store just across the highway. Highly recommend this unit.

The location was very convenient with restaurants and grocery stores close by. The property was very clean and well equipped, plus the beds were comfortable.
You have access to probably the best maintained pool I've seen at the beach, with easy access to the beach.
We'd definitely stay here again.

We planned a trip to OC last minute and I was able to secure a stay at this adorable condo. I sits right on the beach and has equally accessible pool access. The rooms are all a good size and we overall had plenty of room to stretch out and feel comfortable. Leslie is very easy to communicate with and helpful with any questions I had.

This place is the best place we have ever stayed. You could tell Leslie (owner) loves her condo. Everything was stunning & comfortable down to the towel racks she chose. All of the beds were really comfortable which we have never had in our 30+ years of coming down. The showers were not clogged with sand & you would have never known this condo had been used 10+ times before we got there. Not a speck of sand to be found anywhere even on the porch. I would give 10+ stars if I could for everything. Also Leslie is easy to get in touch with and resounds quickly if you have any issues. We had a neighbor say we were in their parking spot, but it was ours & Leslie handled it very quickly. Best place & the best owner ♥️♥️♥️

This residence was accurately described and right on the beach! The walk with little kiddos was so attainable, we were even able to walk back for lunch and bathroom usage! The owners were friendly, and answered all questions/phone calls. This is a place we are hoping to stay again in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo is beautiful, completely updated, spacious and clean. Leslie was wonderful to work with- very helpful and always got back to us quickly. The location is great! It’s close to the beach, shopping and restaurants, with a grocery store right across the street. Our son is an infant so we were looking for something beachfront but with more privacy than a condo in a large building. This was perfect for us and the pool access was as an added bonus- the best of both worlds! We would absolutely recommend this condo and would certainly stay here again!

Overall we had a very nice stay. Beautifully renovated condo, keyless entry at check-in and communicating with the owner were excellent! Only downfalls we could comment on are no convenient place to spray off after coming off the beach and the cleanliness of the unit was not what we expected. We had to sweep and wash the floors on arrival- feet were black after walking around after a few minutes, soap scum in the showers, bathtub plug did not work so bathing the littles was a little tricky as they could only get showers, couch stained with dirt, back deck railing very loose.

I had a great time at Leslie's condo. Please do not hestitate to book! The location and amenities were perfect. The beach and pool were steps away. There's a supermarket across the street and all types of restaraunts in the same plaza. The condo itself was even better in person than the pictures. It also felt like the condo was soundproof. I didnt hear any outside noise at all. Leslie was only a phone call away and answered all my questions and concerns I had. Thank you Leslie for such a memorable stay!

Ocean City stay
My family and I had a wonderful time at Leslie's property. It was nice being beach front without being in a high rise condo. The property was clean and modern and has everything you could ask for, including a pack and play for our 8 month old. There were plenty of businesses within walking distance as well, including restaurants, a grocery store, and ice cream. We would definitely stay again.

We’ve been to OC countless times and this trip was one of our most enjoyable. The condo was clean and very spacious. It’s just a few steps out to the beach and to the pool. Wonderful Mini Vacation
Family enjoyed the views of the beach from the outdoor balcony. The condo was very comfortable and inviting. The rooms are spacious where we were able to lounge around. Really enjoyed our time there and will visit again.
Owner is very responsive and always available to answer all related questions. We had a great time without the crowds.

Had a gorgeous view of the sunrise from the front balcony. Comfy deck outback for lounging and eating. Only warning I would give is this condo is on the second floor and there is not an elevator. If you have issues with navigating steps this would probably not be a good option for you. That being said I cant imagine another reason this would not be your ideal beach vacation l

Amazing!
This is our second time staying here and we absolutely love everything about it! The location to the beach, restaurants, shopes etc. and the many amenities with the place makes it the perfect atmosphere for our family. Leslie is great to work with and her communication with everything you need to know about staying there is simply perfection!

We hit up Fractured Prune, OC Kabob, Tequila Mockingbird, and Higgins Crab House, all either a short walk or ride. We spent most of our time on the south deck, which has a nice ocean view, some comfy lounge chairs, and a nice picnic table (there's a patio umbrella in one of the bedroom closets.) There's a bit of noise from Coastal Highway, especially around rush hour, and of course there's always the 50 year old adolescents riding up and down the strip on their little motorcycles, but overall it wasn't enough to drive us inside. Communication from the owner was clear and timely; about a week out I received an email with detailed instructions and driving directions, then a day before I received the door code via text. Parking was a little tricky to figure out when I arrived, so I texted and Leslie called me back immediately. (Hint: it's *under* the condo.) Overall I have nothing but good things to say about our stay or the property. Thanks!!

This property was awesome! We were so close to everything; the beach, the pool, shops, and restaurants. The property was the perfect size for my group of six. Everything was clean and nicely renevated.

A pleasant surprise inside!
We LOVED the spacious open floor plan of this property. Completed updated and beautifully decorated with a kitchen that is well stocked for cooking in, which we did a lot during "The Summer of COVID". The deck was a great place for early morning coffee or evening dinner with the family. We loved being right on the beach. Owners, Jay & Leslie Walker were the perfect hosts. After a hurricane storm, we lost connection with our TVs. Jay & Leslie were just a text away to fix the problem. Our first VRBO experience, and Jay & Leslie made it a great one! Great property with beautiful sunrise views!
Our week at Not your Grandmothers Beach House was relaxing and fun! The sunrise from the front deck was amazing. We watched the dolphins in the morning / evening from the back deck. Comfortable
& modern from the kitchen to the living / bed/ bathrooms. The only thing I will mention that may be a negative is that you have to climb quite a few stairs to get into the condo. If you are older or out of shape this may be a problem. You can walk across the street to the grocery store / Dunkin Donuts and TJ Maxx. The green Turtle has great fish and chicken tenders and the service is superb. I would highly recommend staying here. Leslie was quick to answer and resolve any issues.

We've stayed up and down coastal highway and this is the best condo ever! The condo is absolutely stunning with tons of light and beach vibes. Completely stocked in the kitchen with everything you need to prep breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Plenty of space for our family of 4 which included happy teens! The bedrooms are big and comfortable. The bathrooms are fantastic with plently of counter space. But my most favorite part was the full size washer and dryer which made washing towels quick and easy. Our family enjoyed breakfasts and dinners on the deck too. Obviously I could go on and on but I think you get the idea. We will be back!

Absolutely Beautiful Getaway
When we arrived in OC our original home was not as described and we were in a scramble to find a place, Leslie was so sweet and accommodating and helped us rent her home without any bumps in the road. The outside of the building is alarming when you first pull up, but Leslie lets you know not to judge a book by its cover and she is right! From the moment you enter the home it is beautifully updated throughout and fully stocked. The only complaint would be that there are no window treatments in the living area and there is a spot light on the basketball courts behind the back deck that shines directly into the living room. Other than that, our stay was great! Thank you again for your hospitality and generosity in allowing us to rent last minute!

HGTV Beach condo.
Lovely renovated condo near the beach with good beach views. Tastefully decorated and made for a real home away from home feel. Despite the shabbiness of the exterior, the interior was really luxurious and everything in the unit has been tastefully updated right down to the studs with everything new. The keyless entry was a real treat for my family of 4 including 2 teenagers. Everyone had their own space. We look forward to staying again in the future.
