bon compromis pour aller de salazie vers mafate pour débuter la rando par le col des bœufs

bon emplacement entre salazie et mafate

le BRUIT :( nous avons été réveillés très tôt par les passages des autres personnes qui n’habitaient pas dans le gîte et qui venaient prendre leur repas dans la salle commune. l’insonorisation n’est pas suffisante à mon avis. pas de chance ce soir là car tous les restaurants aux alentours étaient fermés mais heureusement notre hôte nous avait préparé des pâtes. l’excentration par rapport à Hellbourg/ salazie/ St André pour les restaurants. peut être proposer le repas sur place pour éviter ce type d’inconvénient ou s’arranger avec les restos pour qu’il y en ait toujours un d’ouvert/ jour

La vue exceptionnelle depuis le jacuzzi . La situation géographique pour partir à la randonnée direction le cirque de Mafate . Le calme .

The room was dark and disgusting. A real damp. Humid. The bedsheets stank. They were wet. We had to leave in the morning.

Disappointing

Mold on the wall in the bathroom and a horrible smell because of it in the room. For the price in this area this is not a good deal. Staff was nice though.

There is nothing to complain about. Lovely house, nice place.

This accommodation is a very good starting point for discovering the Mafate area. The owner is a very nice lady. Not far from the accommodation is very nice local restaurant with nice food. It was bad for us that the lady doesn't speak English and we don't speak French :-(. Nevertheless, we agreed on everything that was needed. Breakfast is rich and varied, but you have to be able to choose ;-) - we initially did not understand the system. You are choosing 1 piece of cheese, for example, not 1 portion :-). The rooms are quite large, but for three people with backpacks it is so so. We were lucky that no one was accommodated in the other rooms, and we could use the common areas with the kitchen.

Owner is really helpful and nise. Place was clean , brekfast according to our wish and set up property is great for hiking in this area. I hope we could stay again

Beautiful view from terrace, nice big bathroom, clean sheets, modern rooms, excellent breakfast, general cleanliness, host was very friendly and spoke enough English to accommodate non French speakers!

Screens on the windows would be great, you never know what could crawl in when you're sleeping. I saw a few spiders (daddy long legs) and webs in the hotel, but I think this is very normal and what you would expect in the mountains.

Nice but too damp

The owner is nice, the rooms are new and there is a common kitchen area where you can make coffee. The breakfast was good for the price. The location is good if you want to go hiking to Mafate - however, we had to cancel our plans because of rain.

There was a very unpleasant smell in the room. It was raining when we were there, so the entire village was inside a cloud. However, the room should not be so damp and have some basic heating to remove the moisture - even the sheets felt damp.
