About this house rental

This fantastic 3 bedroom home in a court location is only minutes walk to the Chinaman's Creek end of the Metung Boardwalk. Enjoy the beautiful surrounds from the deck, or throw a line into Bancroft Bay and soak up the beauty of the Gippsland Lakes.

Plenty of room for the children or pets to run around, the property sleeps up to 6/8. Water views and pet-friendly Millimgimbi makes for a relaxing family holiday in summer or winter. Complimentary wifi.

House was older than appeared in listing but that was ok. was all fine overall. Was clean and nice linen. Beds were uncomfortable for us (but aware that’s each to their own). Amazing water pressure in shower. House was cold, but we eventually found a heater on night two. Did have a wood fire but didn’t give out much heat. Were lots of dangerous items around the garden for the kids Eg: paint pots, screws, glass picture frames. We also got a puncture by parking on a screw in the driveway. Whoops. Also garden isn’t contained and is on a really really steep slope (was raining all weekend so very slippery) so couldn’t just let the dog or kids to run free. But the kids enjoyed the garden as was well developed with bushes and trees providing them adventures.

Beautifully maintained house on a hill overlooking the lake, nested in trees. We loved the generous size and old world comfort. Our dogs enjoyed the deck, the front garden, and the many walks around the town. A great spot, with comfortable furniture, wi-fi and smart tv.

We had a great time in Metung Great house with a beautiful view Nice spot only a couple mins drive to the Metung Hotel and only 20 mins from Lakes Entrance.

True dog friendly owners
Really appreciated the owners' allowing our dogs to stay. Many places say pet friendly, but have a stack of restrictions. Clean and well-appointed. Nice water views.
