At Wirral Grange Farm Stay Cottage and working Vineyard you will enjoy a stay amongst the vines. 3 bedrooms with queen beds one has an extra single bed, fully self-contained kitchen, dining, lounge. Breakfast provisions and a free bottle of wine on arrival. Wood-fire, Swim spa & barbecue - close to vineyards, restaurants, golf courses and 2 properties from Hunter Valley Wildlife Park Zoo. Carol has thought of absolutely everything! We loved staying here. The property is beautiful, we loved the animals. We loved the spa. Carol provided pool towels and bath towels. All linen provided. We had breakfast provisions. Each room had heating as well as a fire place. It was such a great location too. Having 2 bathrooms was great too. Having a full size kitchen and fridge was so useful. We would definitely come back.

Was really happy with the property. It was really comfortable and the stay was well organised. Everything was available in the property and we didnt have to buy or bring much with us at all. The wine provided was excellent, we even bought two boxes to take home.

We loved our stay at Wirral Grange, the property was incredibly well appointed, the hosts were warm and welcoming and it was lovely to hear the animals from the wildlife park next door. We enjoyed our daily walks to feed the animals and the spa pool was an added bonus. The wine was fabulous too! Highly recommended in the perfect location to enjoy all the Hunter Valley has to offer.

We used the cottage as a base for preparation for our daughter's wedding and therefore had photographers, hair stylists, make up artists and florists all making appearances on the morning of the wedding. We had checked whether this would be okay with Carol and Terry and they were completely unfazed and very accommodating. We noticed one of the wedding cars had a puncture and Terry very obligingly said he would take the damaged tyre in with him to town to have it repaired - which he did overnight which was just so very helpful for our return trip home. As we were super busy, we didn't have the opportunity to use the bacon and eggs, pantry provisions, bottle of wine or even the spa....but they were all there for our use (and the wine is awaiting a quiet moment). The cottage was less than 10 minutes to the venue (in the Hunter Gardens) and we did enjoy the giraffes next door! Communication was great and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Thank you!

We have just returned from a fantastic 3 night stay with the family and our dog. Lovely location amongst the Wirral Grange vineyards, where you can hear the lions roar from the nearby Hunter Valley Zoo. Owners made us feel very welcome and we would definitely return for another stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cosy, spotless, well equipped and really comfortable cottage in a great location to explore the Hunter Valley Wine Country. The cottage has everything and more that you could need, was perfect for our most important family member, our chocolate Lab, Milo. We would definitely choose to return and that’s unusual for us as we generally like to try new and different places! Thanks Carol for a lovely stay

We had a wonderful stay with family, 6 of us in total. House was in a beautiful location surrounded by vineyard and next to Wildlife park with added bonus of being able to see Giraffes and Zebras from driveway and able to hear other animal sounds such as Lions. Owners were very helpful and had provided special touches by including breakfast supplies, even farm fresh eggs from their chickens. House was clean and well appointed for guests to relax and enjoy a break with no worries.

Couldn't fault this lovely property - every creature comfort was catered for. We were sorry we only had 2 days, but will be back for longer. Our pup was very happy, and fascinated by the charming chooks!

We really enjoyed staying at this place, location was great as we have a dog and 2 kids 11 and 9. Fenced off big back yard made our dog very happy while the big spa pool in back yard kept the kids happy. All the facilities are there to cook anything you want including bbq. Certainly recommend and Carol and Terry were great hosts. Hopefully get back there soon.

Thank you for a wonderfully relaxing stay, stunning property that we would love to visit again some time. We were incredibly impressed how Carol had thought of everything you would need in a holiday property and how puppy proof the property was. Thank you for allowing us to have our first family holiday away with our puppy Harry he had a ball as well and loved meeting Jack, throughly recommend to anyone.

We had a fabulous time and Carol was a wonderful host. The pantry and fridge were well stocked, and house was very clean. The pool was used and loved on the hot days. Seeing the giraffes at the zoo next door from the driveway was a highlight.

Wow , what an incredible set up, just perfect the cabin the host , the location , we will be back Carol is just fantastic and we will be back for sure, we have stayed in the Hunter many times but Wirrall Grange is by far the best we have been in.

Beautiful older style cottage overlooking the vineyards. It rained the whole time so we didn't get to use the deck or BBQ, although our dogs loved the fully fenced yard. Spotlessly clean. Carol was very welcoming on our arrival and there were fresh eggs, milk and breakfast ingredients in the fridge. Humidity was high so we appreciated the ceiling fans and air conditioning in each bedroom. It was my partner and I, our 2 kids, and my in-laws, but I'd stay here with 3 couples as well given there were 2 bathrooms. Board games, books and DVDs in the living area and a ChromeCast for those relaxing Netflix kind of nights.

We had a wonderful weekend away in the Hunter Valley! Our accommodation was just perfect and all the attention to detail from Carol - made for a beautiful stay! Carol and Terry have a beautiful property that’s in a great position relative to the surrounding vineyards. Very clean and dog/child friendly. The hosts are very friendly and go to out of their way to make you feel welcome. You wont regret staying here. My daughter already misses Jackie (the dog). 5* rating from us! See you again soon.

What a wonderful find. Beautiful self contained cottage on a stunning working family run vineyard. Carol and Terry, oh let’s not forget Jack the dog, were wonderful and charming. Did not intrude but were at your beckon call if you needed anything. You can pick and eat grapes from you verandah. Highly recommend this place. Cheers

My adult family spent the weekend at this beautiful property. Owners are warm and welcoming with a plethora of local info for us on arrival. The cottage is beautifully appointed with all the amenities you need. A special touch was the yummy produce supplied for our breakfast. Perfect location centrally located to all the beautiful vineyards and next door to the zoo. And it would be remiss of me not to mention the stars of the vineyard Remy and Jack resident boarder collies whose visits to the cottage were a delight for us all. Will definitely be returning.

We had a lovely weekend with friends here. It was lovely to stay in a house that was so well equipped. We even cancelled most of our restaurant bookings, to enjoy the property more. We made a nice breakfast with items provided by Carol. Eggs, yoghurt, cereal, etc. It was a cold weekend, but we were able to stay warm with the aircon, fireplace and electric blankets. The location is really good. Close to walking tracks, wineries, etc. We would definitely go back.

Amazing property perfect for a couple of couples or a family and we could take our dog. Property is beautiful, comfortable and with access to the pool it is a perfect spot to unwind. The view from the back balcony over the winery is just outstanding, add the birds singing and it really doesn't get much better. We are already working out when we can get back.

The house had everything we needed and was so comfortable in every respect - especially loved knowing our dogs were as welcome as we were. The fireplace was divine and the beds were perfect. The wine was fantastic too.

It was all very good: comfortably and tastefully furnished with extra touches such as fresh flowers. Good BBQ and dining setting - we didn't bother going out for dinner! And we put on the log fire on a cool spring evening and were soon warm.
